Exactly as advertised. There’s a dedicated line for people with a timeless entry ticket which made things easy. The museum was sold out the whole week I was in Paris, but this made it so we could still go. Make sure you save the PDF version in advance to make getting in easier.

We purchased the Thursday evening skip the line ticket, it was very easy to use. Love the museum!!!!
amra_k, Mar 2026
Had trouble finding the tickets. For a second I thought it was a scam but the customer service guy at the ticket counter helped me locate them. Beautiful museum. Definitely worth a visit
Anna_S, Mar 2026
Having mobile tickets we were able to bypass the very long line of those without. We breezed right in without any hassle
Carol_M, Mar 2026
This was turnkey except I hadn’t received tickets ahead. But I called and it was fixed immediately and my day got along without a hitch.
Temple_F, Mar 2026
I learned a lot about the building and its history in addition to information on some of the iconic pieces of artwork. I thought the tour guide did an excellent job of using the two hours of the tour to orient us to the museum. The tour provided a great reintroduction to the museum since my first visit over five decades ago as a college student.

Ticket system works well, but complicated. Museum is great and was a worthwhile experience. Also close to other attractions
Susan_S, Mar 2026
Awe inspiring magnificence as always. It would be helpful if visitors were notified upon entry that the temporary exhibitions close 45 minutes before the 9:45pm (21:45) museum closing time on Thursdays to plan their visit accordingly.
David_P, Mar 2026
Wonderful collection of 19th century French art. Highlights are Van Goghs and Manet’s Luncheon on the Grass. Was great to skip the line & visit without a scheduled time.
Lisa_B, Mar 2026
Entry tickets allowed reserved time for museum entrance - skip the lines! From there, on your own to explore. Impressionist exhibition lovely. Building is beautiful.
Robyn_C, Mar 2026
Easy way to access the museum and avoid the long lines trying to purchase same day. Suggest going in morning as we went late afternoon and it was very busy.
Zachary_Z, Mar 2026
Very easy to access. We really enjoyed the experience and it was very straight forward. Would definitely do again.
Sherri_C, Mar 2026
Buying ticket ahead of time is a big time saver and it was so easy and efficient. The staff at D'Orssay has everything to make it be great
Amy_W, Mar 2026
D’ Orsay was BEAUTIFUL! The building itself is art! It was easy to find our way around, plenty of signage and people to ask for help. To get to Section 5 where the Impressionists are- you need to go all the way to the “back” for the escalators and elevators. Overall an amazing experience!

Actual barcode for entry into Musee D’Orsay via Viator supposed to arrive 24 hours before day needed and it didn’t. Had to chase it and it finally arrived. Received e-mails saying here are your tickets and everything you need, a few days before but with no bar code they weren’t valid. Very misleading and stressful.
The museum itself was fantastic - just not the ticket process.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
We are very sorry for the issue you experienced and for the stress caused by the ticket process.
It is true that the voucher barcode sent by Viator can sometimes be misleading, even though it is indicated in red on the document that it is not the entry ticket. The actual ticket with the valid barcode is sent separately via a download link.
After investigating your booking, we are glad to see that you were ultimately able to enter the museum and enjoy your visit.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us and helps us improve our service and avoid similar situations in the future.

Received multiple emails & downloaded app. I printed out email with bar code which said present at venue to get tickets. Orsay said no you should have tickets from Viator. Tried to download something from them but it wouldn't work. Ended up buying tickets again. Go to venue website & buy tickets direct
Response from Host, Mar 2026
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced and for the frustration this situation caused.
Please contact us at contact@parisodyssey.com so we can make sure that you have been properly refunded, or proceed with the refund if it has not yet been processed. It is certainly unfair that you had to pay twice for the same access ticket, and we want to resolve this for you as quickly as possible.
We would also like to clarify that the Viator voucher containing a barcode is not the entry ticket, as indicated in red on the document. The actual entry ticket is normally provided through a separate download link after the booking. We understand, however, that this process can sometimes be confusing.
In situations like this, please don’t hesitate to contact us on WhatsApp, where we can provide immediate assistance and help resolve issues quickly.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and again please accept our sincere apologies.

Much more convenient than using Museum website……………………………….worth small extra amount………………………………………..
Simeon_V, Mar 2026
Very reliable. Thank you for the fast ticket buy. There were no problems with the purchased ticket from you.
Agustina_S, Feb 2026
Fast lines.
If you book a tour they get you right in.
Knowledgeable and courteous
They work with you
Sue_H, Feb 2026
Viator prompted me to save tickets in my wallet. It had 1 code to scan and said 2 people. Musee D’Orsay would NOT accept the wallet ticket. They needed 2 codes to scan- 1 for each person. Luckily, the museum staff was kind and helped us find the original email and allowed us to stay with them while the tickets slowly downloaded.
Helen_F, Feb 2026
You can use the ticket the day before.
Even although the gallery was 48% full it was still frantic, particularly in the impressionist gallery. Go early to appreciate the art.
Chris_B, Feb 2026
Museum is excellent, but tickets were not provided in the format required to get entry (we were given one bar code voucher for two people, you actually need one each). The museum staff tried to resolve with ticket provider to no avail. Tickets needed did eventualky arrive, but too late. Museum great, a must, fifth floor is the place to go. Just get your tickets elsewhere.
Response from Host, Feb 2026
Dear Chris,
First and foremost, we would like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment you experienced during your visit. We are truly sorry that this situation impacted your entry to the museum, and we completely understand how frustrating this must have been, especially when planning such an important visit.
After carefully reviewing your booking, we can confirm that the individual PDF tickets were indeed sent. As stated in both the booking confirmation email and in the product description, the barcode voucher itself is not a valid entry ticket. The actual tickets required for entry are the individual PDF files that we send separately, one per visitor.
That said, we fully understand your disappointment and regret that this caused confusion and affected your experience. Please rest assured that your feedback is extremely valuable to us, and we will do everything possible to improve our communication and processes to ensure this does not happen again in the future.
We would also like to make this right. We kindly invite you to contact us directly by email so that we can review your case in detail and offer you a refund.
Once again, please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience caused.
Warm regards,
Paris Odyssey Team

Viator failed at making this reservation. It would not convert ticket voucher into ticket. D'Orsay would not let us in. A total failure by Viator.
Response from Host, Feb 2026
Dear Mike,
We sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding and the inconvenience you experienced.
Even after investigation, we can confirm that your tickets were properly sent. However, we take full responsibility for this situation and deeply regret the frustration it caused. We completely understand how disappointing this must have been.
Please be assured that we will do our very best to improve our processes and communication to ensure that this does not happen again in the future.
Thank you for your feedback and again, please accept our sincerest apologies.
Warm regards,
Paris Odyssey Team

It was an absolute mess and I was so embarrassed and let down by Viator. We queued in the lashing rain for over 2 hours before we could get access. We left before entering as we were soaked
Viator are seriously misrepresenting themselves to visitors to this museum - selling tickets when you know there will be an enormous queue - very disappointed in not being able to attend due to masses of people in the queue
Response from Host, Feb 2026
Dear Ciara,
We would like to express our sincerest apologies for your experience. We are truly sorry for the frustration and disappointment you faced, especially having to wait in such difficult weather conditions and ultimately being unable to enjoy your visit.
This situation is exceptional and does not reflect the experience we aim to provide. We take full responsibility and are taking your feedback very seriously. We will investigate thoroughly to understand exactly what happened and will take the necessary steps to prevent this from happening again.
We would like to make this right by offering you a full refund. Please kindly contact us by email so that we can process your refund as quickly as possible.
Once again, we deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused and thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Warm regards,
Paris Odyssey Team

It is definitely worth purchasing tickets ahead of time because the lines are very long.
The museum is full of amazing masterpieces and the staff is very pleasant.
Be prepared to wait on line to exit to museum.
Pam_J, Feb 2026
It was very easy to get in with the ticket. We toured on our own and it was awesome to see renowned paintings.
Becky_H, Feb 2026
My friend and I had a lovely day at this museum. It has a stunning collection. We went on a Tuesday morning and didn’t have to wait long to enter because we had pre-booked our tickets. I do wish there were more benches or chairs.
Suzanne_M, Jan 2026
Incredible! Standing right in front of Van Gogh, Renoir, Degas paintings and sculptures and many many more. Loved the layout and easy flow of the museum. Don’t miss this!
Carrie_C, Jan 2026
This is by far my favorite museum in Paris! It has something for everyone and even just the building itself is so unique and breathtaking! There are also great cafes throughout and an awesome gift shop.
Ramy_R, Jan 2026
Had a great time. Although there were a lot of people we had no issues seeing each of the paintings and statues. Love the impressionali floor.
