At first we were...

At first we were disappointed because the only way we could access Sainte-Chapelle was through a tour group (there was no individual admissions available for our dates.) However, we are so glad we did. Pablo was refreshing. All the little pieces of history and lore made the experience that much richer. Thank you Pablo!!

Nice tour

It was a nice tour to visit Monet’s home and garden and few spots in Giverny in a short period of time. The Guides Angela and Lara were very good in coordinating the tour. Lara explained the history very well. Angela was entertaining and gave some good tips. A quick feedback: Though the tour was well organised, some extra time or an additional hour for lunch could’ve been a relief. The tour seems rushed especially if you also wish to visit the church, Monet’s grave and impressionist museum in addition to Monet’s home and garden all in 2-3 hours. I could manage to visit Monet’s house, garden, grave, church and the garden of impressionist museum. But, I had to have a very quick lunch in 15-20 minutes, thanks to faster service in the restaurant. Even though I had skip the line ticket, I had to wait for half an hour in a que to visit Monet’s house because of heavy rush. The pick up point was a bit tricky because the church was very small to be visible from a distance. The time could have been managed well especially when there was no traffic while going to Giverny and coming back to Paris. Some additional time can make this tour an excellent experience. Overall a nice tour, I enjoyed it.

Very informative!

We enjoyed being in such a small group—just 4 of us on Stan’s tour. He was wonderful. Friendly and knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. He led us through a very crowded museum with ease and took care to make sure we saw everything in an order that helped it all make sense. He gave great background and context for everything and we learned a lot. Overall a pleasure!

This was a super fun way to see the Latin quarter in Paris. The streets were not too crowded and the scenery was beautiful. And of course, the sidecar is epic. The only thing I would say is that an hour does go quickly so you may want to consider doing this more customized for a longer tour.

Made sense after the fact but you go in yourself into the cathedral and go around for 30-45 minutes and meet with guide after the fact. So you don't get a guide inside the cathedral as you have maintain silence while inside for good reason. So are just in awe of the beauty and stained glass windows. But when go back out to meet with the guide, you sit and walk around the outside the cathedral and discuss the history and architecture all the up to the fire and rebuild. There are pictures and stories to go with being there in person that is invaluable and unforgettable.

Excellent way to learn about Paris.

Alberto was FANTASTIC! Our group was mostly Americans and he clearly knew how to deal with us - manner of speaking, pacing, and informational depth. He was happy to answer questions and provide tips. The tour covered a bit of ground starting near Notre Dame and ending at the Louvre. As tip-based tour, there is not a set amount, but for Americans, a sum of $20-30 per person seems reasonable, although $10-15 may be okay. He did NOT pressure anyone on the amount and he was gracious. Very much appreciated!

Temporarily Mistaken for Parisian Aristocracy

For two glorious hours, when were absolutely convinced we belonged in Paris The culprit? A stunning vintage 1930s Citroën limousine and an incredible guide who whisked us through the city in style. The moment we climbed aboard, Paris transformed. Strangers smiled, pointed, waved, and took photos. We started the tour as tourists and ended it wondering if we should begin accepting invitations to French salons and discussing art over champagne. The car is breathtaking. Not “old car” charming. Genuinely beautiful. The kind of automobile that makes modern cars seem like household appliances. Our guide shared fascinating stories, hidden corners of the city, and local history while navigating Paris with the ease of someone introducing friends to their favorite neighborhood. The absolute peak moment came while classic French music played through the car. We rolled down a sunlit Parisian avenue, children waved, cafés bustled, and for a brief, ridiculous, wonderful moment it felt like we’d somehow driven straight into a French movie. Everywhere we stopped, people photographed the Citroën. We are under no illusion they were photographing us, but we happily stood near the car and benefited anyways. If you want to see Paris in a way that is elegant, fun, unique, and guaranteed to make you grin like an idiot, book this tour. Just be warned: afterward, your Uber home will feel deeply disappointing.
