Our guide Mo was amazing! She had great information and knowledge. Even though she must give this tour numerous times a day, she delivered the information with such passion and love for art that your felt like she was sharing this for the first time. We have had several tours through our recent trip and the skill of balancing information with engagement is really important.
I did read some bad reviews about the ease of the meet up. For me, my daughter, and all of our group, we had no problems with this. It was very smooth!

Absolutely do not book with company. They apparently do not know how to count and left 4 people in the lobby of the louve in front of group customer service with no support or guidance. They said they didn’t have enough tickets. How exactly does that happen especially when you plan many months to almost a year in advance and pay for the tour. They left my son and his girlfriend and a mom and daughter. We both reported this company to the louve security and management. To allow all of them to see some of the louve we had to purchase additional tickets. The company was closed and they did not answer the after hours emergency line. They finally responded 2 hours after the tour which would have just ended. The funny thing is they said sorry for the inconvenience and offered a seine river cruise to make up for the issue. Like we would ever book anything with them again. Who know where we would have ended up or was left behind.
Again. Do not use this company or book this tour.

It was great to see the art work & of course the Monna Lisa, the tour guide was friendly & enthusiastic but there was a lot of talking, a little too much, we had the use of a locker for the group & toilets at the beginning of the tour, just for group tours which was convenient. The museum was quite warm inside though, so no need for jackets or coats. I’m glad we went but towards the end I’d had enough, just wanted to see the Monna Lisa then get out.

Great tour with a fun and knowledgeable guide. Mo shared the history of the Louvre as well as insight into the pieces of art. Her enthusiasm was contagious. I want to learn more about the history of the museum and the artists we saw. The place is overwhelming but she was able to make you feel welcome in a crowded space.

Mo did an excellent job guiding us through a crowded day at the louvre, explaining many of the architectural quirks, the history of the buildings and Of course, they aren't. We hit most of the highlights: The mona lisa, the venus de mayo the raft of the medusa, the carnation of napoleon.. Mo Shared lots of useful information about each piece. Excellent tour!

Extremely lucky to have been able to be the only one on the tour. This was an incredibly informative tour. You just get a taste of what the museum has to offer but it’s the perfect amount of info and art for one day. I would love to take this tour again one day.

Truly amazing! Lots of stairs but well worth it. The museum is HOT and it isn’t summer yet. Seeing the Mona Lisa was great once you squeezed between all the people to get a good look. Our tour guide was Toma and she was AMAZING!! So sweet and extremely patient as we had an older woman in our small group. She was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions!

Moe was an excellent Tour Guide. Probably one of the best that I have seen. In the span of two hours, she took us to all of the important sites in the louvre. Explained the key issues and didn’t bore us with unnecessary detail from museum curator perspective that I often see in museum, tours. She gave us all the juicy tidbits that need to be known about each item and stuff that you wouldn’t know she was efficient and very friendly. I would recommend her and her tour wholeheartedly.

Our guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We learned so much about the history of the Louvre as well as the works of art we saw. He actually stayed longer to show us additional pieces. We were able to avoid the biggest crowds and enjoy the art.

Our guide Mo, was a breath of fresh air!! She was well spoken, easy to understand, and just so knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her!
The only issues we faced ... 1. the museum was Just So Hot 🔥 I was quite uncomfortable at times, and 2. getting to see the Mona Lisa was chaotic. The museum could do better to have a que that you walk by to take your picture and to limit those that stay up front for extended periods to get just the right selfie 🤳
Other than these 2 things, the tour was very informative and entertaining. As mentioned earlier, Mo was a great guide!!!! Highly recommend!

Despite having reservations and tickets for a family of 5, tour operator only had room for 4, wouldn't make an exception and now struggling with refund.

Our records show that the booking made with us was for 4 participants, not 5. We can only accommodate and manage guests included in the reservation under our company.

The Louvre tends to be very crowded and difficult to navigate on your own. Mo was such an amazing tour guide getting us in and to some of the best piece in the gallery. She was very knowledgeable and made the experience fun. We will definitely recommend this tour and Mo to everyone we know.

Exception tour guide, FLORIAN. He is passionate and very knowledgeable about everything in the museum. Not only did he highlight the popular pieces, he also made us take notice other works and shared their significance and contribution to the arts and to history. We arrived about four minutes late for our tour, and while we understand the importance of starting on time, the initial interaction with our guide felt a bit rushed and unwelcoming. Navigating traffic in another country can be challenging, and it was unfortunate that the tour began on a stressful note.
Our children were very excited to visit the Louvre Museum and did enjoy the guide’s presentation overall. Once the tour was underway, the experience improved, though the beginning left us feeling a bit nervous rather than at ease.

Because the Louvre operates on strict timed-entry tickets, our guides are under real pressure to enter at the scheduled time. Arriving late can sometimes mean delayed access or, in some cases, entry being denied altogether, which is why guides may need to move quickly at the start of the tour. We had an absolutely amazing time at the Louvre, thanks to our intelligent, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable tour guide. The storytelling and history made the experience unforgettable. I would 100 percent recommend booking directly with Uncle Sam Tours and skipping Viator altogether. Viator is just a middleman making money for nothing. Book direct and you will get a far better experience.

The tour started on time. We had a few bad interactions with our guide MO. She is not very pleasant/forgiving in our opinion so we got off to a bad start. It was raining and dark that evening in the large expanse of the Louvre courtyard and we got lost, when we did find her and told her our name her comment was “I know”. After we got into the Louvre, she sent the group to the ground bathroom and told us to regroup outside the very crowded waiting area. When I got out of the bathroom, I could not find her. Mind you that she is short and she doesn’t use anything to help us find her in the crowd…. A colorful umbrella or flag would be nice. When I finally find her I make a comment that I was special, trying to be funny, but instead she just make a comment “ I can see that”, then there were other instance in the crowd. I accidentally stepped on her heel and then she told me to keep a distance from her. So yes, it’s my fault but no one wants to be lost and stepping on her heel is an accident.
We feel she could have handled the situation a little better. During the tour she cover the history of the Louvre, 2 sculpture, 3 pieces of Davinci work plus Mona Lisa. Then she spent an inordinate amount of time delving into conspiracy theories in the heist-clearly very interesting to her but not to me or my husband who were there to learn about art pieces. Another chunk of inordinate time talking about her personal accomplishments after we had regrouped. All 6 of us were ready to go and learn, but had to wait til she had finished her life story and accomplishments. When we were done there was only an hour left to explore before the Louvre closed. We returned the next day for a self tour. Honestly, in our opinion, this tour was time and money consuming in the wrong direction. Not recommended and buyer beware

Going to the louvre at night was excellent! It felt like we were the only ones in there. The group size was small (6 people) and she brought us to all of the major spots. Hearing art through her eyes was great! She told wonderful stories. The benefit of going in the evening was that it was so quiet we could enjoy and take pictures without anyone in them. We also did not feel rushed to move on. There was time following the tour to explore for almost an hour on our own before the museum closed.

We attended the 6pm tour on a Wednesday evening and the crowds were definitely less. Our tour guide, Saeed, was wonderful and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend having a guide as they know ways to move you through spaces and provide insights on the art.
