We loved our guide!!

There definitely includes a ton of walking, but the guide talks you through everything and makes the trip very easy and fun! Armand was excellent and knowledgeable! Hidden Paris revealed!

Michel was very knowledgeable about the histories of each monument, building, important events like the four revolutions and more. My son and I learned so much and saw all the major sites as well as hidden gems in a wonderfully convenient and brand new golf cart. Michel was a very safe driver and navigated incredible traffic with ease. He also stopped to allow for photos, pointed out good restaurants and cafes in each arrondissement for when we return during the week and was very flexible with last minute drop off location change. I can’t recommend this tour with Michel enough!

Our tour guide was adorable, charming, knowledgeable, a local and full of energy. Tried new foods and combinations, all the best available, purchased in real time. My dietary needs were considered, one Hazelnuts being a tough one in France. Had a great time!!!

Long day but absolutely worth it!

I have been wanting to make this trip for a long time but always hesitated because it’s 14hrs long. The bus is newer, has a bathroom and on the 4 hour drive both to and from makes a 20 min stop to stretch your legs, grab coffee or snacks and stretch your legs. The bus has wifi and the seats are pretty comfortable. It’s a long travel back and forth but I was able to watch a movie and nap. The tour guide was wonderful. Very friendly and knowledgable. On the way up she let everyone sleep the first 2 hours. About 30 min before arriving at the destination she gave a nice history lesson of the area and abbey itself. She ensured everyone had the tour app for the abbey downloaded, tickets and answered any and all questions. You have two options to get to the island. A tram or walk. Walking takes about 35 min and we got there at the same time as those who waited in line for the tram. I’m glad I walked because the views along the causeway were spectacular. We walked straight to the top and used the guided app for the tour. I thought it was perfect mix of explanation and guide without being too lengthy. Total self-guided abbey tour lasted about an hour. After the tour we walked literally every street, walkway and alley and enjoyed it so much. The amount of photo worthy sites were incredible. I travel all over the world and this is my top 3 for being amazed by the architecture and views. We had time to sit down for a 30 min lunch before walking back to the bus. The 4.5 hours they give you there is plenty of time to enjoy and see everything. The only thing we didn’t do were the 4 mini museums. We could have made it through them in the allotted time but chose to explore and enjoy the whole site this trip. We loved it so much we already committed to a longer return trip and we’ll do the museums next time. Overall I highly recommend the trip. The guide was very friendly and knowledge. The bus was comfortable and the whole trip was well worth the long day.

Our guide, Arturo, was fantastic! He lives in the neighborhood where we walked and frequents the places we visited on the tour. There were only 5 of us in the group, making it easy to walk and talk and share stories. He gave us just enough history as we walked the charming streets, and was able to provide the back stories of the people that owned the shops where we stopped. Don’t eat before starting this tour. There are a lot of stops and a lot of food!

Special Dinner Cruise

We did the dinner cruise to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Rashid, our server was friendly, attentive and provided historical insight into some of the building and bridges we passed. The food was excellent (we chose the Privilege package), the wine tasty and sights beautiful. The young singer who performed during the cruise was also top notch. La pièce de résistance, was at the end of the cruise, we were able to see the lit up Eiffel Tower complete its final sparkle for the night. AMAZING! I would highly recommend this cruise while in Paris.

Incredible customized tour to what we wanted to see. Helle was an incredible guide with so much knowledge of the city and its rich history. We were surprised by so many unique sites in the neighborhoods we chose to see. She adjusted to our pace, speeding up or slowing down as we needed. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this experience was. From seeing where Renoir painted to tasting the best chocolate and learning all among the way. Would highly recommend!!!

Half day walking tour.

The tour guide, Adva, was informative and entertaining during the tour. We covered many areas of history in Paris. My son and I were able to go back after the tour and visit longer a few of the stops Adva introduced to us. Since we used the Metro during the tour, with Adva’s assistance, we also gained confidence to use the Metro on our own a few more times.

Paris - in the rain

On a cold, wet Saturday morning, the prospect of wandering around Paris for a couple of hours didn't seem that appealing, but having booked it, we turned up anyway. Alberto made us feel very welcome, and soon his infectious enthusiasm and in depth knowledge seemed to make the time fly by. It was a great introduction to the major sites of Central Paris, and we hardly noticed the rain. Well worth it.
