I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the monument. However, the long, winding spiral staircase could be a challenge for some visitors.

The stairs are definitely for able-bodied people only- probably the equivalent of 10 flights - on a narrowish circular staircase… but the views from the top deck are fantastic and worth it! Booking a slot is definitely the way to go, and be sure to leave enough time to cross under the traffic from the top of Champs Élysées. It is a great activity w kids - I had a teen and a tween who loved it!

We didn’t get to go up to rooftop. It was nearly a 2 hr wait and we got there 30 min before our scheduled time. We would have missed other things. Didn’t seem worth the wait.
This wasn’t even during high season.

Just the tickets to the arc de triumph and the summit. The tickets I was sent wouldn’t scan when we went to get in. We had to wait while she tried to verify our tickets, which held up the line. She was unable to verify them, but took pictures of them and ultimately felt sorry for us and let us through. She said the e-tickets frequently won’t scan. I could have stepped aside and called the tour operator, but we had already been waiting in line for over an hour and would have just left before we went to the back of the line again. I didn’t think to call before because we were emailed the actual tickets with the barcode.

Interesting history and view. This ticket saved us over an hour in queue.
Simply go to the tunnel and proceed up to the Arc. Ask the one guard and you are basically inside the Arc.

We wanted to see the city at night, so we decided to go to the top of the Arc de Triomphe to get a perfect view of Paris. Unfortunately, the elevator was broken (they let people use it if they have mobility problems), but my 87-year-old mom said she could make it up the 284 steps - so up we went - all the way to the top! The view was amazing! Not long after we got up there, a big rainstorm hit, and we got drenched. We didn’t stay at the top for long, and it was much easier going down the stairs than it was climbing up. We're glad we did this, but the priority tickets probably weren't necessary.

Bought a tour with specified time to fit our plans. Got to event and found tickets were general admission with an hour line. Purchased two tickets for a tie starting at 18:50. Stood in line with the general admin tickets and started tour at 20:05

Getting my ticket through Viator saved me a lot of time standing in line! Highly recommend. The experience itself was breathtaking. Beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower lit up at night. There was also a ceremony under the Arc, honoring dead soldiers I believe.

The experience itself is quite good. Wonderful views from the top. I can imagine in the busy season it’s very crazy. We were there in November and there were no crowds.
I don’t know that you need to use the Viator app for this. It was very frustrating as to which barcode or QR code you had use to get in. I got so many emails and messages about this experience that it became confusing as to which option to use. Viator needs to simplify how this works.

Lots and lots of tiny steeps, cardio workout. Two family members had issues getting up stairs and had to go back down due to a foot injury and hip injury. At the bottom they were told there was a lift.

This may have been my favourite experience while visiting Paris. The views are stunning, unreal.
No issues with timed entry, our ticket was provided to us via email and WhatsApp.
Many stairs to get to the top - we took a break or 2 in our way up, and there are benches just near the top for a rest.
Beautiful views!! Cute gift shop. Highly recommend.

A LOT of stairs to get to the top but the view is worth it. Eiffel tower in the background of pictures is great! Birdseye view of the city as well. Details on the designs/statues/etc on the Arc can be found inside as well if you're into the history side.

You gain access to arc De Triomphe at top of Champs Elysees access the underground passageway takes minutes only follow signs …bypass the ticketing lines and show person at “gate” your pass which displays time. We covered it all in about an hour…views were amazing and tomb of Unknown soldier was a nice memorial.

Fabulous I highly recommend can see all of Paris!! The Eiffel Tower sparkles like a golden diamond! Elevator available if necessary but must do 48 steps if you want to reach the top

Going to the top of Arc de Triomphe was a highlight for our last evening in Paris. Seeing all of Paris starting to light up as the sun went down was magical. The vantage point gave us a view of the Eiffel Tower giving a complete Paris skyline.

Don’t Waste Your Time Or Money!!!
We purchased these tickets and got to the Arc only to find there WAS NO priority entrance / line/ gate . Instead a line that would have taken minimum of an hour to get us to the entrance. I fully intend to attempt to get a refund. That was money I could have used for a different excursion for my precious time in Paris.

An evening visit at 9:30, however, we were a little early and they let us in before our allotted time. Never knew it was possible to get up to the top of the Arc de Triomphe and it was wonderful. Do bear in mind there is no lift and 284 steps to climb on a mostly spiral staircase. Also be careful when crossing the very busy roundabout to get to the attraction.
