Well-conducted tour of Hiroshima/Miyajima, all logistics handled perfectly
Everything was as promised and went as planned. There were people to meet us in Osaka at the Shinkansen station to give us tickets, and also accompanied us to the platform and made sure we got on the right train. Then the HIS guide was waiting to meet us as soon as we got off the bullet train in Hiroshima. Her name was Minori, and she did a highly adequate job of taking care of us until we boarded the bullet train back to Osaka in the evening. She first took us to the Hiroshima Peace Park and Museum by bus for the rest of the morning. We then had a really nice lunch in a restaurant overlooking Miyajima island. They provided us with with an okonimayake menu, a local speciality, which was delicious. The afternoon was in Miyajima island, a visit to the amazing shrine with the enormous Torii gate on the beach. It was low tide when we went, and so we could walk all the way out to the gate. We got back to the Hiroshima station about 30-45 mins earlier than expected, and the guide helped not only us, but several others, get on an earlier train back to Osaka. The service provided throughout the trip was amazing and much appreciated.

Delicious tour with Moeka-chan!
We had a wonderful tour experience with Moeka. She was an excellent guide in every way - knowledgeable about history, culture, and food, friendly and personable, and accommodating and patient with the specific needs of our family (namely, dealing with an energetic three-year-old)! We enjoyed all the delicious food (especially the okonomiyaki!) and even my vegetarian husband had plenty to eat. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone traveling with family and only a short stay in Osaka - you get to explore vibrant neighborhoods while enjoying really tasty, unique foods.

Outstanding Kyoto & Nara Tour with Riku – Flexible & Fantastic! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We booked a full-day private tour of Kyoto and Nara with Riku and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Originally scheduled for a rainy day, we decided (on Riku’s excellent suggestion) to move the tour one day earlier. The weather was beautiful, and it made all the difference. Riku was wonderfully flexible and helped make the change seamless. He was fun, engaging, and unrushed throughout the day. His deep knowledge of the history and culture really stood out — he shared fascinating insights at every stop without ever feeling like he was lecturing. We felt completely at ease and thoroughly enjoyed his company. The itinerary was perfect: we visited many beautiful temples in Kyoto, walked through the magical Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, and spent lovely time in Nara at Tōdai-ji Temple (home of the Great Buddha) with the friendly free-roaming deer in Nara Park. Everything flowed smoothly thanks to Riku’s great pacing and planning. His service was truly exceptional — professional, attentive, and genuinely passionate. We left feeling like we had explored with a knowledgeable local friend. We highly recommend Riku for anyone wanting a memorable, stress-free tour of Kyoto and Nara. Thank you so much, Riku!

I absolutely recommend...
I absolutely recommend this activity! This was an expertly run cooking class. We were a family of 4 (3 adults and 1 teen). This is a highlight of our Japan trip. The guide was warm, inviting and so helpful. We were given the recipes so we are now inspired to make the meal when we get home. Loved it!
