Excellent Hiroshima & Miyajima Day Trip : Fantastic Guide and Organization
This was an excellent and extremely well-organized day trip from Osaka to Hiroshima and Miyajima, and everything ran remarkably smoothly from beginning to end.
The organization impressed me before the tour had even really started. A representative met us at Shin-Osaka Station with our Shinkansen tickets and personally made sure we reached the correct platform and train car. Considering how large and potentially confusing Japanese train stations can be, having someone take care of those details made the start of the day completely stress-free.
When we arrived at Hiroshima Station, our guide Hiro was waiting for us. She was fantastic — knowledgeable, energetic, genuinely funny, and able to convey a tremendous amount of useful information without making it feel like a history lecture.
I was particularly impressed by Hiro's own story. She told us that until 2019 she had primarily been guiding Chinese-speaking tourists. She then decided to brush up on her English and transition to guiding English-speaking visitors. Considering how comfortably she now conducts an entire day of sightseeing in English while explaining some fairly complex history, I found that genuinely impressive.
Our morning included the Atomic Bomb Dome, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. This was obviously the most serious and emotional portion of the day, and Hiru did an excellent job providing historical context while treating the subject with the respect it deserves.
Then came one of the culinary highlights of my entire trip: Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki for lunch. It was prepared right in front of us on the griddle and was absolutely spectacular. Beyond being delicious, it was interesting to learn about this distinctly Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki and its connection to the city's postwar history.
After lunch we continued to Miyajima, taking the ferry across the beautiful Seto Inland Sea. The island was a wonderful contrast to the morning in Hiroshima, with its mountain-and-sea scenery, roaming deer, traditional streets, temples, and, of course, Itsukushima Shrine and its famous torii gate.
The transportation throughout the day was also excellent. The tour bus was clean and comfortable, with Wi-Fi and USB charging ports, both of which were very welcome during a full-day tour.
What impressed me most was how ambitious this itinerary is while still being so well coordinated. In a single day from Osaka, we traveled by Shinkansen, explored some of Hiroshima's most important historical sites, visited the Peace Memorial Museum, had a fantastic local lunch, took a ferry to Miyajima, and explored one of Japan's most iconic destinations, without ever having to worry about tickets or transportation logistics ourselves.
Hiro was a huge part of what made the day so enjoyable. Her knowledge, humor, and personality made an already fascinating itinerary even better.
An extremely memorable day and one of the highlights of my trip to Japan. Highly recommended!

Loved it!
Had a private bike tour, just my husband and I, with Hide as our guide. He was very knowledable, fun to talk to, and great company to have. He was attentive to us in the July heat, offered frequent breaks. The housing museum exhibit was very cool and a great way to break up the heat during the day. The lunch spot was delicious! We had Kaarage, yakisoba set meals. We enjoyed the scenic views along the river and at Osaka castle park. Overall, a wonderful way to see Osaka on our first day in town!!

She made sure our large group stayed together and although group was large it felt like a small intimate group she was very attentive. Awesome experience
Mayco was an excellent guide and she did a great job! Her directions while riding were very clear, and the spots where we stopped to eat were delicious! Highly recommend this excursion. FYI, I’m not a cyclist and I was able to make the ride with little effort. Mostly flat streets, except near the Osaka Castle—but still able to power through.

Busy but fun-filled cultural tour of Kyoto
This tour captures the highlights of Kyoto in one day. You will likely walk over 15K steps but it is so worth it. From the bamboo forest to the beautiful temples and even the lunch that was offered. Everything was so good but our tour guide was the best. He made a long day go by so quickly. He was witty, kind and so informative!!! I forget his name but he was a handsome guy with glasses and the Kanye West doll on his bag. I would highly recommend this tour to families, solo travelers and just about anyone!

Great experience
We had an incredible 4-hour tour of Osaka with Rie! She reached out two days in advance to tailor the itinerary exactly to our interests. She provided fascinating history at Osaka Castle. On top of that, she took some amazing photos for us. Highly recommend her for a personalized and memorable experience!

Good 4 hours tour, I highly recommed it
Great tour if you want to see some iconic Osaka sports in 4 hours. I took a private tour. Ichiro was an excellent guide, well informed about every place we visit. We visit the Osaka Castle exterior, an some of the most touristic streets in the city centre. We walk and we use the subway. The tour is good because you dont waste time in shops like in other tours, and you can enjoy places walking around with some interesting historic context.

We highly recommend Kalid El Barraq as your tour guide
Our tour guide was Kalid El Barraq, and let me start by saying: he is the best!
He arrived on time to pick us up at the hotel and followed the itinerary perfectly. He knew exactly where we were going and the best way to get there.
At every place we visited, he took the time to explain the history and details of the location. His knowledge is truly amazing.
He was polite, professional, and attentive throughout the entire day, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying the experience.
We highly recommend him as your tour guide!

Delicious tour with Moeka-chan!
We had a wonderful tour experience with Moeka. She was an excellent guide in every way - knowledgeable about history, culture, and food, friendly and personable, and accommodating and patient with the specific needs of our family (namely, dealing with an energetic three-year-old)! We enjoyed all the delicious food (especially the okonomiyaki!) and even my vegetarian husband had plenty to eat. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone traveling with family and only a short stay in Osaka - you get to explore vibrant neighborhoods while enjoying really tasty, unique foods.

Come Hungry—Kai Will Take Care of the Rest
We had such an amazing time on our Osaka food tour with Kai—she absolutely deserves 5 stars!
She guided us through the Dotonbori district and made the whole experience feel fun, relaxed, and really personalized. My husband loved the takoyaki, and I’m still thinking about the matcha crepe she introduced us to—it was so good! My parents especially enjoyed trying all the different small bites along the way, which made it a great experience for our whole group.
One of the things we appreciated most was how much we learned. Kai explained the different types of miso and shared little details about the food and culture that we wouldn’t have picked up on our own.
Kai was kind, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Osaka!
