Explore Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve in Naples on an ecotour by kayak. Following a guide, you'll paddle across the waters of the bay, part of the Ten Thousand Islands, for an up-close look at the mangrove forest. This was so much fun. Jessica was very knowledgeable and funny. I would highly recommend this . We saw dolphins, jellyfish, snails,rays and we had our eyes open for manatee but didn't see any. So much fun.. I would definitely book it again.

Our guide Dillion did an excellent job of guiding us through the mangroves while telling us about the wildlife and plant species. We learned so much and had a lot of fun!

Dylan was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable kayak guide. He was was a wealth of information about the wildlife that we encountered on our tour. He actively found different types of snails and birds to show us. He also answered our questions in an understandable manner. The tour was more time and sights than expected. Would highly recommend this kayak tour!

We are 91 and 81 parents with daughter 60 and grandson 24.
Yet the eco tour was fun for all and very informative too. We hadn't kayaked in years but manage to make it out and back without incident. No speeding power boats kept the bay calm so other than stiff breeze, it was not hard to paddle. Matt kept up a terrific and interesting talk for the whole trip!

We had such a great experience, mostly due to the enthusiasm of our guide, Matt, for sharing his knowledge of sea life as well as plants. He is like your best memories of your favorite biology teacher. Funny, engaging, and personable, you cannot go wrong with a kayaking tour with him. We were 100% satisfied with all aspects of the tour, especially the nice surprise of watching a dolphin breaching nearby our group.

We got to see a dolphin very close to us. Totally made my day. Navigating the mangroves were tricky got stuck a couple times. Make sure to wear bug repellent. Saw lots of birds and marine life. Matt was extremely informative very knowledgeable really enjoyed my trip.

We had an excellent time. Our tour guide was great and we learned a lot. Our tour guide was born and raised in Marco Island and knew the area and was very passionate about the mangrove habitat. We thoroughly enjoyed it and even got to kayak along with dolphins.

Best guided nature tour I’ve ever been on. Our guides background in zoology really shined educated us in seeing all the easily overlooked wildlife and how they relate to each other and the ecosystem at large. It was especially memorable to handle the different types of conch, hermit crabs and snail eggs.
