This was an intimate hands on experience in a beautifully organized outdoor setting. Master Chef is great at explaining the steps and the science behind measurements. This was a birthday experience for my partner and we both had such an amazing time. Oh yeah, and we made amazing macarons!

It was such a fun experience! The environment was very welcoming and warm and the delicious macarons we made with Cheryl made it even better. I hardly ever write a negative review. However, I’m deeply disappointed that an excursion that was based in California came up in a search for Paris via Viator’s booking site. Neither Viator or the tour operator will approve a refund that my family could not attend as we were in Paris and the exact location was not originally provided.

READ THIS REVIEW - Viator/Trip Advisor is serving ads in the wrong markets. As the buyer - READ your experience thoroughly before purchasing or least before the cut-off date to cancel. Viator will not refund even if it is their mistake. The experience provides the location in the title. In this case, it said Carmel by the Sea, CA which is not in France.

Memorable macaron class.

The expert master chef taught us the steps of making the merengue, adding the dry ingredients, baking and filling the macarons. We each got to have hands on experience of making our own macarons and took home a dozen beautiful macarons. I never realized the variables involved in the perfect macaron and it was a really fun to have such a skilled chef and teacher in a delightful environment. She teaches the class on her patio.
