Absolutely worth the money. You’re given headlamps and tripods to ensure safety and great photos. Our guide, Sam, was excellent and was extremely knowledgeable about the stars, arches, as well as, phone and camera settings. Seeing the milky way was unbelievable.

Chad was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable. He was very helpful in setting up our phones for picture taking. It was a unique experience.
Absolutely incredible, now this is the way to truly see the true beauty of Arches National Park in a serene setting. Brandon was our guide, not only did he assist everyone with setting their respective gear, his knowledge and sheer enthusiasm for Astrophotography was evident. What a great time we had learning about Astrophotography and touring through the park after dark.
Unbelievable experience! Being in the park when it’s that dark, these magnificent structures all around us and views of the Milky Way was such an incredible experience. Our guide was fantastic and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend and do again.
We took the astrophotography tour and it was truly amazing. The company’s communication was great. Our tour guide named Chad was an excellent guide. He’s very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and a good teacher. He’s a real asset to this company. I have an iPhone 13, which I don’t recommend for this activity.but a great trip nonetheless! The iPhone 17 worked great. See photos.
The two hours will fly by! We were taught everything to take some solid photos as well as they brought the lights, tripods, and anything else we had to have.

The terrain during the evening can be deceiving. So, working as a team is helpful.
Brandon was excellent. My husband and I joined 4 others for this tour. Everyone brought phones, not cameras. Brandon was able to assist all with settings on different phones. I took some amazing photos with my cellphone. A fabulous experience!
The tour was excellent! Brandon was very helpful with camera set up and tips to get the best pictures. I got some amazing pictures of the arches with the stars!
Sam was very knowledgeable about the area and very patient with our questions about how to get the best pictures! It was a beautiful night that will live on in our memories for many years to come.
Bring a winter hat, you never know what conditions you will have, our outing was quite windy and a hat would have been nice.
Really amazing experience! We used both a camera and the phone. The camera takes better photos especially with the right lens, which we rented from the guide. If you don’t have a camera, our phones blew us away too.

The activity was good but the sky was a little cloudy so some areas of the sky were not clear. Obviously I know that is not something anyone can control but unfortunately is part of the experience.

Hi Adrian, thanks for letting us know about your trip. We always fight with the weather and try to reschedule, but have no problem refunding if that's not possible. I have sent a partial refund based on what our guide said the cloud coverage was and hopefully that helps makes it right.

Seeing the park after dark was awesome. The guide was very helpful with setting up photo opportunities.
I would suggest the option of transportation to the park site. This was our first day in the park and traveling on the dark roads was challenging
Seeing the night sky in a place that is far from city lights was a treat. Not being adept at night photography, I learned a lot.
The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.
I do feel the excursion was over priced. I thought we were going to have a telescope. But it was definitely a memory maker.
Brandon was friendly and knew his stuff. He was patient with me since I didn't have any photography experience. My photos were much better than I imagined they would be.
This was one of the coolest things we’ve done on our National Park tour! Brandon was so great with our kids (14 and 12) too. He was incredibly engaging and taught us a lot about the constellations. We didn’t have an SLR camera with us, so Brandon showed us all how to maximize our phones to get some incredible photos. He even helped the kids figure out how to get a photo of our trip mascot (a stuffed yellow belly marmot) with the stars!
