Itinerary
Climb aboard Ugly Anne, an authentic North Atlantic wooden lobster boat from the Gulf of Maine, at MRA Dock, and prepare for a 1-hour cruise along the Straits of Mackinac.
Travel under the magnificent Mackinac Bridge, an awe-inspiring suspension bridge that connects Michigan’s Upper and Lower peninsula. Enjoy a narrated history of the many shipwrecks that happened and learn about living in the north country and the maritime history of the area, including local Native American lore.
Find out how the bridge was built and hear about the car ferries that traveled this route for over 100 years. From the water, see Fort Michilimackinac, the former 18th-century French-turned-British fort and trading post, and the Old Mackinac Point, located at the junction of Lake Michigan and Lake Huron.

It was cool to see the bridge from an angle you don't typically see. The captain and crew were friendly. I would absolutely do this again.

Nice boat trip, experienced crew. Everyone was friendly and informative.
A little hard to hear the narration in the back of the boat .
Would do another tour.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Bring a jacket or sweatshirt, it is cold on Lake Huron. Be careful where you sit, you could get wet. Very educational, great for history buffs, those that love bridges, or anyone that loves to be on the lake. Great photo ops of the bridge and the lake.

We had a great trip on the Ugly Anne. Lots of historical information—great captain and crew. Fantastic views of the bridge. Greeted warmly and made welcome by office staff.

It got cancelled due to the wind, but it wasn’t very windy at all! Very disappointed. We had this planned since June.

The weather was great and the historical facts were cool, not only for the bridge, but for the Coast Guard Ice Cutter and the ferries and the Mackinac Island hotel.

This was a good family friendly experience. We've learned some interesting facts about the area & my son was excited to demonstrate his newly gained knowledge the next day during the island tour. We all enjoyed the cruise.

Loved the view, the ride, the history of the bridge and the straits. It was my son’s tenth birthday. He will remember it forever. Myself….I’m 47, and have been over the bridge over a hundred times. This enhances the experience.

Such a fun and educational boat tour! It's amazing just looking at the structure of the bridge from underneath. Will be back!

We were pleasantly surprised how fun, informative and relaxing this one-hour tour was! It was great to be able to go directly under the longest suspended bridge in the Western Hemisphere. This family owned business is top notch.

Great people, great tour. Loved the personal touch with additional stories that were piggy backed by the guy on the boat besides the pre-recorded information.

This was an awesome trip, found out more history then I ever knew and I have been coming up here going on 40 years now. Finally got a real view of the bridge.
