Perhaps start with the captivating Pacific Zone exhibit featuring the Shark Walk, an exhilarating viewing experience. Stroll upon a suspended glass platform that separates you from 10 shark species zipping inches beneath your feet. From there, check out sand eels, octopus, and jelly fish in the stellar Atlantic Ocean exhibit, and then get better acquainted with some of the resident sea characters at a live feeding.

If the Shark Walk didn’t get your pulse racing, check out the popular Shark Reef Encounter, where you’ll get to see varieties of shark including Sand Tiger sharks, Bow Mouths, and Black Tips Reef sharks.

You can also explore the new Rainforest Adventure exhibit, which gets you acquainted with some of the Amazon's most scariest creatures. Catch sight of crocodiles, a bird-eating spider, arachnids, cockroaches, and even piranhas.

Meh

Simon_K, Aug 2025
Meh. Looking tired and old. Due a revamp. Better suited to younger children. The penguins were good though

We both thought the place...

Arran_B, Jun 2025
We both thought the place was awesome. Will definitely recommend it to others ☺️ Enjoyed it more than London zoo So well done

Aquarium

Donnis_P, Jun 2025
I recommend this event for anyone traveling to London. The aquarium is located next to the London Eye.

Underground does NOT mean Cooler Temperature

Carol_B, May 2025
This started interesting enough. It was extremely hot day and even though this was underground, it was very hot. Then there was school kids who came after us making the viewing areas crowded. There was not enough signage. We needed bathroom facilities and there was no signage let alone anyone to help where to go. We ended up backtracking and leaving early. We would have continued but again the kids blocked some area's. Disappointing.

Far too expensive and a rip off

Jason_S, Apr 2025
Far too expensive, severely overcrowded and the whole thing is only 30 minutes. Very cruel and unethical with very small aquariums housing sharks and penguins which is nothing like their natural habitat. They don’t care about animal welfare. It’s sad to see sharks swimming in a tiny tank.

Great day out

carol_d, Apr 2025
All the aquariums are clean and the fish look well looked after. There were a good selection of aquatic life.

Amazing time with my 12 year old

Claire_D, Apr 2025
We always visit sea life and have the best time , we love the shark tank and the shark virtual experience.

Great time

Nicole_L, Mar 2025
Great time with family enjoyed the experience would go again loved the huge tanks with great selection of sea life

Not a lot to see

Ledion_K, Feb 2025
Not a lot to see though is better not worth the money is just a place that you go oround see in one direction all

There is nowhere to leave...

Pia_O, Feb 2025
There is nowhere to leave your coat or any bags, so exhausting to go round the place as it is very warm. Also very slow in school holidays, as there were a lot of people. But the kids loved it!

This time when we visited...

Jane_N, Jan 2025
This time when we visited all the larger sharks where not there which my grandson was a little disappointed about.

Had a good layout with...

LouAnne_H, Jan 2025
Had a good layout with some fantastic displays especially the jellyfish and sea horses. Loved the friendly stingrays at the entrance and the sea turtles were magical.

Pathetic time management by operator

Rahul_S, Jan 2025
The tour is mentioned to last around 2 hours long, and we booked 3:45 time slot tickets, but during whole tour we were continuously asked to rush ahead. By the time we reached penguins section, they turned off the lights. They closed the aquarium in 1 hour 15 minutes at 5 pm. If they want to close sharp at 5 pm, then they should not be selling tickets after 3 pm entrance time.

Whimsical

Leah_B, Jan 2025
Really lovely to see everything, quite busy but to be expected when you accidentally book ‘super peak’ instead of ‘super off-peak’ tickets pah. Overall nice staff too and good experience for everyone.

Loved it !

Aqsa_I, Dec 2024
It was very fun and enjoyable with my family. The animals were wonderful, the staff giving information were friendly and great and it was just a memorable experience. I would definitely recommend this aquarium to a friend. The virtual reality experience was fun and the souvenir shop is one to like. You also get souvenir photos !

A visit to the London Sealife

Ann_L, Dec 2024
My time at the London Sealife was well worth it. The experience was breathtaking seeing all those sea animals makes me think about my homeland, a Riverside girl.

The Tangible World of Sea Life

Christopher_B, Oct 2024
The most spectacular and memorable display was the large tank with significant sea life circulating slowly round the central structure. It is a rare opportunity to see fish close up in their natural environment. Many of us watch David Attenborough programmes, but it is unique to see some of these fishes at such close proximity. Although there were no significant sharks, the aquarium enables you to appreciate even more how striking and beautiful these creatures are.

Nice visit

Sophia_L, Sep 2024
Went with my daughter and had so much fun. Seeing the penguins was the best part. Will definitely go back when I visit London again.

Gary's Underwater Adventure

Gary_B, Sep 2024
I absolutely love Aquariums..and Sea Life Aquarium did not disappoint..it was amazing to see so many different types of fishes and sea life..I took my wife as we were celebrating our 5th Wedding Anniversary..Wonderful time and experience 😀

Very enjoyable experience

Marlon_O, Aug 2024
The shark tank and the VR where very memorable experience, various types of aquatic SEA creatures seen there.

Sea life

Fajer_A, Aug 2024
Honestly, the place is narrow and crowded, and the shops do not have nice souvenirs. I will not say that the place (the aquarium) is dirty... Also, the restaurant near them is extremely dirty, as the workers there do not wear gloves, and that made me leave it, and I do not advise anyone to eat there.

Too expensive for what it...

Nina_P, Aug 2024
Too expensive for what it is, otherwise beautiful creatures we’ve seen, nice place good experience!!

Sea life

Stephen_D, Aug 2024
Very poor value for money. Disappointing displays, sad enclosures. It was also an hour and a half, not 2 hours

too packed but amazing displays

Caroline_G, Aug 2024
the tanks were fantastic. the displays amazing. but it was too packed - we found it exhausting moving around with so many people at the same time. very hot too. would be great to have more space.

Poor service and booking system

Lukasz_H, Aug 2024
Very poor service and booking system I have booked visit at 3rd of August and then all sudden I reciving email that my book Been made for next day witch was 31 of July is not that I choose at mentioned day Right now I have to wait for ,,request of refound “to be accepted , could not even been able to rebook I don’t know why probably they won’t accept my refound but I’m still waiting we shall see

3-10, would never go back or recommend

CJ_b, Jul 2024
Poor ventilation so the body odor was awful and overwhelming. Many of the hallways could not handle how many people they were letting in so the rude crowds honestly caused most of the bad experiences. I personally go to aquariums all around the world and this may have been the worst one, experience wise. The animals were great but the exhibits were average.

Great day out , great value for money

Emma_M, Jul 2024
The tropical fish were amazing. The penguins cute a cheeky - they interact with you so much which was lovely.

Not worth it

Lucie_F, Jul 2024
I have been in the aquarium 12 years ago and I have to say that nothing has changed. No investment made. Very basic. None of the interactive games through the aquarium for kids were working. For London aquarium where people expect great experience it’s big let down and definitely not worth the money.
