There were no instructions that one has to go to the bus first and get tickets for the river and the eye. I got on a bus and did part of the tour, then hopped off. I went to the river, and somehow got on, because the bus people did not give me a river or eye ticket. When I got to the eye, they sent me back to the bus. Also, the routes were blocked due to a demonstration and I could not get back to my hotel. I was able to see everything, but it took more work than I thought would be necessary.

Overall it’s informative, buses are frequent and a fun way to get around the city.
The confirmation and booking numbers they provide you on Viator are NOT the same numbers you use for booking your fast track London Eye or for adding your pass to your app. This is very confusing and when I messaged them through Viator they took till the next day to respond. I had luck reaching out directly to Big Bus thankfully so we didn’t miss anything. Most busses have room, but several times the bus didn’t limit passengers and it was crammed. My kids sat on the stairs between some stops until people got off. There is no guide on the top level people were acting rambunctious.

I have not actividades the Hop On Hop off bus tour yet but yesterday was utterly confusing using this Viator pass.
For the London Eye fase pass, my ticket would NOT scan either time I presented it. They needed to get a manager involved.
For the City Cruise on River Thames it was the same issue, every where I scanned the pass it did NOT come up and a manager needed to be called over, honestly it was a bit embarrassing.
We will see how the bus tour goes today.

The main concern with this is that it was not clear which bus company was to provide our hop-on-hop-off tour, and whether the tickets were for 24 or 48 hours. We didn't end up needing 48-hour tickets as we had a different excursion planned the next day, so we might have saved some money by getting a 24-hour ticket. There are about 5 different companies providing this service, and we had to go around and ask the agents at each of the companies to find out which one we were supposed to take with this package, and where to meet the bus. The boat tour was only in one direction, and we had to find our own way back from the other end. The actual tours were informative and interesting. The London Eye provided spectacular views of the city.

Nice tour, but didn’t see the description of the cruise being one-way or location of boarding and drop-off. Had to ask. But all the employees at the various stops along bus route were very helpful.

Riding the London Eye and taking the river cruise had been on our bucket list ever since we were in London 2008. Drivers were very helpful and informative. Buses are comfortable and easy to get on and off of. One of the best ways to see London in a short period of time. Things we planned to see were Big Ben, the river, Buckingham Palace, the sphere, and have lunch and dinner in pubs. Got caught out in the rain and found a quaint pub close to Buckingham Palace for lunch and local beer while the rain came down.

Everything about the day was enjoyable. The commentary using the earphones was very good,. We had a lot of fun with hopon hopoff bus staff while waiting for the westbound blue line. We felt we saw most of the highlights of London during the trip.

Everything worked out really good for our group with the only mild complaint being that there were times when the bus was really crowded - standing room only. Driver should control who gets on better.

Not enough information on the sites visited, didn't.t even see some of the sites described. While it covered the bulk of London more descriptive information and less cutesy dialogue would have been more appreciated.

The view from the london eye are amazing, you could see Buckingham palace and all over London very clearly. We had a hop on hop off 48 hour bus ticket for the big bus company. We thought that this was fantastic you get to go around all of the sights with an audio guide it is really worth the money. We are coming back next year and bringing more family.
