The parking lot will be immediately on your right as you come onto Folly Beach and just before "Hotel Folly." Make sure to park in a SHORT spot and make your way to the ramps. Look for the boat with the blue T-top and says "Blue Moon" on the side. The Captain will text you a photo of the boat.

This is a low key day on the river- relaxing and peaceful. We were able to see many dolphins and babies.

The pods of Tamenend's Bottlenose Dolphins were thrilling. Just cruising the estuary was fascinating. An environment like no other. Lots of bird activity. Extensive oyster beds. Paul, the boat owner and Captain, is knowledgeable and provides just the right amount of information and interaction. A great experience.

Captain PD went above and beyond; he reached out to us to let us know about a road race which may impact our travel time and route to the landing. He also loaned me essential weather gear which I was missing on our very windy snd chilly day. We saw several dolphin and learned a bit about them.

We loved seeing mother and baby dolphins arc from the water at the same time, as though they were one animal. Our Captain, PD, was skilled in finding all the dolphins that could possibly have been in the area. We also froze to death, but that is the sea's fault.

It was a great experience. The boat was comfortable. The Captain was very nice and pointed out several things. The water was basically calm, but whenever we had to cross wake from another boat he let us know ahead of time. We saw a lot of dolphins, some as close as 20 feet.
