If the Tide permits we will make a stop at Morris Island to see the Lighthouse bathed in the evening glow before returning to the dock to see the sun fade below the horizon. Get onto the Folly River in Charlston with a guided stand up paddle board trip. Your safety is of the topmost importance, and you’ll have a demo video of your route and how to paddle board safely. The rental center has a bathroom and a water tap so you can make sure you’re all ready for your time on the water.

Join us on this two hour private boat tour as we explore the calm waters behind Folly Beach in search of the local bottlenose dolphins. As we cruise through the creeks and inlets, you will have the opportunity to see these beautiful animals play, sleep and hunt. If the dolphins are feeding, you may be able to observe a hunting strategy called “strand feeding,” only seen in this part of the world. Along the way, you will also have the chance to see other local wildlife, such as wading birds, bald eagles, osprey, pelicans or maybe a sea turtle. This cruise includes up to 6 people for one price!

As we make our way through the creeks to Morris Island, you will have the opportunity to see dolphins and wading birds in the marsh and oyster beds. We will land on the south end of Morris Island, near the Lighthouse, where you will have 90 minutes to walk the beach on your own to look for shells, shark teeth and fossils. As we make our way back to the dock, you will likely see dolphins as the inlet behind the island is one of their favorite places to hang out.

Summer is the best time of the year to see pods of juvenile and baby dolphins.
