My only complaint is that they have the "Tribunal" room (key artists include Bronzino, Raphael, Titian, Correggio, and Pontormo) cordoned off, yet allow people to queue up just to come to the rope and look in the room for 3 seconds before they are ushered away. It makes absolutely no sense. You can tell that there are some paintings hanging in it, but you can't actually see them. I don't see the point.

The gallery is very nice, unfortunately cellular service was not great, so the digital guide did not work. Maybe if you setup a wifi network, may improve the service

I paid almost 50€ for this ticket, and it turns out the entrance fee was only 25€ if I had bought it directly from the museum. The entrance ticket comes in three different versions of which only one is accepted at the museum, so it took a long time to find the right one before I was allowed inside. Also, the ticket was supposed to include an audio guide. I never managed to make it work because it came via a different app, and there was no connection at all at the museum, so I couldn't download it. I should have just bought the audioguide directly at the museum as well. The problem with the connection at the museum is of course not Viator's fault. But nevertheless, I find the price of 49€ completely unfair. I wish I had done my research better before buying via Viator. Would definitely not recommend or use another time.

Hello Marianne,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations.
We would like to clarify a few important points. Your booking was made through Viator, not directly through the official museum ticket office. For this reason, the final price includes several costs beyond the museum’s official entrance fee, such as platform commission, Italian taxes, service fees, reservation handling, staff support, and the digital audio guide service. This is why the price on Viator is different from the official museum ticket price.
Please also note that we purchased and prepared your ticket before your visit date, and the cost for us is not only the printed museum entrance price shown on the ticket. Our service includes securing the reservation, processing the booking, sending the correct ticket information, and providing support before the visit.
Regarding the digital audio guide, this service is provided through a separate audio guide app, as the Viator app itself does not provide the museum audio guide service. We sent the access instructions before your visit. Unfortunately, mobile connection inside the Uffizi Gallery can be limited, and this is managed by the museum, not by Viator or by our company. For this reason, we always recommend opening the audio guide link and downloading the app before entering the museum whenever possible.
We are sorry if there was confusion with the ticket format at the entrance, but the valid ticket provided was the one accepted by the museum.
Thank you again for your feedback. We are sorry that you felt the price was unfair, but we hope this explanation clarifies what is included when booking through a third-party platform such as Viator.
Warm regards,
Florence with Locals Team

We were unable to download our tickets after waiting in line. We had a voucher Viator confirm code and the museum wouldn’t take it. Plan B- We found a bistro and got away from the thick stone walls, then we were able to get on What’s Ap and get our actual tickets that worked. This whole process took a long time. We learned.
The museum was wonderful.
Regan_W, Apr 2026
We found the process to get the tickets very easy and had no hiccups getting in. We appreciated the audio guide as well.
Theresa_P, Apr 2026
Downloaded the app to get the audio tour. In retrospect I could have just downloaded any audio tour and bought my own tickets. The museum itself was amazing. Also download the pdf tickets you get a day or two before They didn’t take the tickets through the Viator app.

big line outside the entrance and crowded inside too . There was a line so long for rooms 17 to 23 that the ushers came and broke it up . We didnt get to see those rooms .
Botticceli room and Carravagio room also packed . Elsewhere was reasonable .
Andres_B, Apr 2026
The museum is gorgeous but the business model that sends you the tickets via WhatsApp a few hours before os horrible.
Jenna_R, Apr 2026
Very unclear instructions, the ticket gate would not accept what I was told was the ticket. Very frustrating experience with Viator.
Shirley_c, Apr 2026
The tickets arrived and we were able to get in on time but could not get the digital audio guide to work.

The gallery at Uffizzi is everything one could hope for. So much history and beauty. One could return often to appreciate the artistry.
Rebecca_K, Apr 2026
While the audio guide itself was good, we didn’t get instructions on how to access until about 8 hrs before we were supposed to go. Also we had asked for a 10am ticket and were told at the same time we got the instructions for the audio guide that our tickets would be for 8:30 instead (but we’d still be able to use them until our requested time but we’d need to be there at least 15 min earlier. Since we were sleeping when this message came through we ended up having a bit of a rushed morning instead of the relaxing one we’d planned. This could have been avoided if the change had just been communicated earlier.
That being said we did get smoothly in and enjoyed the tour which is very thorough.

Once you enter and get your audio guide, go straight through ground floor to the staircase that leads to the 2nd floor. So much to see so don't waste time on ground floor. We thought going early in the morning was a good idea but so did everyone else. By early afternoon it was much less crowded. We spent 4 hours!
Martina_M, Oct 2025
Wasn’t exactly skip the line as we still waited 45 min to get in but way better with this than without
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Hello, the day you visited the museum was extremely busy due to the national strike in Italy, a situation beyond our control. We also informed all our guests about it at the meeting point. We’re glad that, instead of canceling your booking like many agencies had to, we were still able to keep your visit. That day, the general line was over two hours long, while you waited around 30–40 minutes — much shorter thanks to your skip-the-line ticket.
Matthew_M, Oct 2025
The skip the line convenience is truly worthwhile. Right to the front and directly inside. The museum is incredible! Give yourself several hours to confidently experience and appreciate all that it has to offer.
Michele_J, Sep 2025
It is a lot to see. Pick out the art you really want to see and look at it first. Then go back through to see what you didn't see on the first round. Consider tickets for 2 different days to really enjoy the museum.
Response from Host, Sep 2025
Thank you for sharing your thoughtful advice! The Uffizi truly is overwhelming in its beauty and richness, and we agree that planning ahead makes the experience so much more enjoyable. Visiting across two days is a great suggestion for those who have the time, as there’s always more to discover in each gallery. We’re glad you enjoyed your visit and hope to welcome you back for another experience in Florence!
DanielMauricio_I, Apr 2026
It is a place for art lovers, although there are many sculptures, the protagonist is paintings by great artists.

I really liked the experience mainly because there is an order that helps to see all the rooms without missing any.
