From November to February, the Boboli Gardens close at 4:30 PM. For guests booking the Pitti+Boboli combo at the 2:30 PM time slot, it is recommended to start the visit from the Boboli Gardens and then continue to Palazzo Pitti.

Wow! This place was absolutely beautiful! The kids loved all the art and extravagance the palace had to offer! Unfortunately we weren’t able to go to the Bobli Gardens, apparently only our adult tickets had access and the child tickets we got did not. I’m not sure what the mix up was but oh-well.

It was a lovely experience, definitely worth doing. I would advise making sure you downloaded the tickets from WhatsApp. They will not allow you to enter without it. It is worth it for the gardens alone.

Best event by far ... especially for kids

This by far was the mistake fun activity especially for the kids. The garden is so beautiful and peaceful. We went when there was construction on the main fountains unfortunately, but it was still an amazing experience.

Mini Versailles Feels

Take a free ticket at the ground floor to get a TIMED access to the Royal Apartments. This should have been made clear when we took this combo tour with Boboli Gardens TIMED entry. It was fortunate that we were still able to get a 5pm entry to the Royal Apartments so we were able to visit it. We enjoyed the Gardens even if there were no flowers. The overlooking viewing point of the City was great as well as the entrance/exit of the vasari corridor connecting Uffizi Gallery to the Palace located at the garden exit. Amazing architecture, artwork and gardens.

After some initial difficulties accessing our tickets due to poor connections we were eventually able to visit the palace and gardens. The palace was amazing with the architecture and decoration in the rooms nearly outshining the artwork on display. We missed the windows to visit the private apartments as we were not aware we needed extra tickets. We then went out to the gardens which were wonderful, but too large to visit properly after seeing the palace.
