Not sure if it’s truly worth the price I paid (around €91 for two tickets) but I would say this is still a good ticket to get. The instructions were given the day prior and easy to follow for the self-guided tour. The Bell Tower steps are no joke (I’d recommend going right when they open at 8:15) but the views are stunning. Be warned that there was construction and scaffolding up when we went in early September 2026 so some views were partially obstructed. The Baptistery was also under restoration. The Duomo museum however was surprisingly interesting so don’t forget about it!
Whew, that’s a lot of steps! The ticket gets you access to a lot but the instructions on how / when to get to each were a bit unclear. Plan for 45 mins at the museum - we got rushed and had to skip that.
Climbing the tower was great. It’s definitely a workout though. There are 3-4 landings along the way to rest. The bell tower is currently under construction so while we did have phenomenal views, there was fencing in the way. The iPhone camera fits between the fencing so you can largely take unobstructed pictures but a traditional camera would not.
Easy and convenient, but you pay a premium. The tickets were simple to purchase and were sent directly to us via WhatsApp, so the process was smooth.
The bell tower climb itself is absolutely worth doing and the views are great. My advice: plan ahead and buy your tickets directly if you can. We went through a third party because we weren’t prepared in advance, and while everything worked perfectly, we paid quite a bit more for the convenience.
No issues with getting the ticket. We opted not to climb the tower as there was a crazy heat wave! We would recommend.
Great view wonderful way to see city from high. Be prepared to walk up 400 steps in a very narrow space but so worth the trek.
Good value for the money. So many stairs in the Bell Tower, but worth it. Museum is well done. Bapistry was underwhelming
Everything went smooth picking up our tickets. At first we were having a hard time finding the gentleman holding sign but asked someone and found him. The views were amazing and worth the climb!
We all really enjoyed this experience. Early visit is a good idea as I think later in the day it would be very hot to climb 414 steps to the top of the bell tower. I chose this rather that the Duomo as you have to climb between the two layers of the dome, which, for some, may be a little claustrophobic. the Duomo is around 40 steps higher so not much in it in terms of the spectacular view you have from the top. its worth noting that there is only one set of stairs so up and down share the stairway some people wait for wider gaps to pass and others do not.
the entrance to the Cathedral is timed and you wait outside closed wooden doors near the bell tower not where the queue is for un-ticketed entrance. when it is your time slot they open the doors admit you and close them again, i can see how people have said finding entry is confusing. You cannot enter with a back pack of any size, it goes in a locker next to the museum so allow time to do this. Ladies you need to have your knees covered so do not wear shorts or a very short skirt/dress. Likewise shoulders must be covered so wear T-shirt/ short sleeved blouse or have a wrap to drape.
cathedral and crypt allow non flash photography. Your ticket allows you untimed entry to the Baptistery and museum until 18:00 giving you time for a coffee break / lunch
the buildings are cool, the tower is not so pick your time carefully as hotter months will be a tougher climb. I would agree that there is not a need to climb both tower and dome. We were happy with the tower and stunning views, but appreciate others may much prefer the experience of climbing the Duomo
10.15 ‘skip the queue’ access literally enabled us to be the first two people to enter the cathedral. The cathedral crypt was fascinating. The tower was definitely worth the 415 steps.
Worth the climb! Almost as tall as the Duomo observation deck and not as crowded. Really Awesome views!
Easy, skip the line explore on your own tour! We climbed the Bell Tower as well! Had to call our representative because we were in the wrong spot and he was easily able to help us find him!
There was no specific meeting point in the piazza. The guide had no sign. The instructions were too vague and caused us to be ten minutes late. The guide did not explain how the three day ticket works.

Dear Robin,
We are sorry for your experience. The instructions to the meeting point is clearly mentioned on the voucher and there is also a direct link and phone number to contact in any case. The Host always guide clients about the tickets where to go and when to go. In any case you are always welcome to ask him question to make things more clear if there is any confusion. It’s strange why you didn’t ask him to clear it in spot. Thank you
Great trip and awesome guide. Abdul is the best - patient, nice, helpful and clear in his directions. Would recommend!
The view was beautiful, but the negative is people going up and down the stairs at the same time, made passing a little tight on the staircase. Furthermore an easy fix , allowing so many on the staircase . I would not do it again ps if you claustrophobic it's a no
I didn’t actually go in this tour because I made a mistake with my booking date but the hosts were very understanding and generous and gave me a full refund even though the mistake was mine. They were very kind and understanding.
So good to have the opportunity to visit the main sites of this amazing city.
We had limited time, so it was good to avoid queueing and have one ticket for all.
Please improve the instructions for ticket collection. It implies that you have to obtain tickets from a different place to the meeting point, prior to joining,. This was not the case and it did cause confusion.
Great experience. Abdul was great he got us where we needed to go quickly and helped us find him in the correct area by calling and texting. Very efficient and helpful service.
The views were amazing. Glad I did the bell tower as was unusually hot whilst I was in Florence and I don't think I would have made it up the Dome!
Was a little dubious to book tickets same day as all other options had sold out. However we collected tickets as instructed 10 minutes before our timed slot and all worked perfectly.
We were pleased we climbed the bell tower to get a view of the done instead of the other way round. The crypt and bapistry were also a bonus
Skip the line was the most beneficial art of it. Did enjoy the Bell Tower! Be ready to climb a lot of stairs!

Dear Client,
Thank you for sharing your review. Your star rating is not matching with your comment. We think you wrongly clicked three stars as we can see you enjoyed and satisfied by the activity in your comment. Thank you
Every landing you come to is a welcome respite and offers extraordinary views of Florence and the duomo. The climb really isn’t that bad as long as you’re not morbidly obese. The stairs do get tight the further you go up, but never too tight. No bags of any kind are allowed in the bell tower, but the tickets include a locker at no additional expense. The baptistery and cathedral can be done on another day if you’re too tired after the hike up.
The tower was nice but if you climb the Duomo then there is no need to climb the Bell Tower. The Duomo has a view that is much better and higher. Save your money and time!

Dear Client,
The activity itself worth because this ticket give you access to Four museums/sites to visit. This activity is about tower and all other museum of Piazza del Duomo. If you have climbed the Dome and bought the Bell tower it was your own choice we responsibly provided the ticket and the services written in the inclusion. Thank you
It is very good. The employee is near to church. He gives you tickets valid for a couple of days. I reserved my trip on 4:30 pm. However, contact the operator to start really
The experience itself was great. Unfortunately the person representing viator gave us 2 tickets that had already been used. So 2 out of the 4 tickets we had worked. Luckily the guard at both the bell tower and duomo were kind and let us in. The guard at the baptistery turned us away.

Hello Kate,
We are sorry for your experience. We have mentioned a contact number in the voucher. You should contact on that number if you faced such problem.
You have visited all other places with the same ticket. The bell tower entrance scanner sometimes make problem in scanning. In that case we provide the client PDF tickets to scan.
We will made a refund for two tickets for you. Thank you
We were never able to do tour due to a delay in previous tour. No refunds unfortunately. Very rainy day, so really made for a hard day for touring.

Dear client,
We have a 24 hours cancellation policy, you can cancel before 24 hours for a full refund.
As you have mentioned you couldn’t do it because of another tour its not our fault. We already have arranged your tickets and paid for it in advance to reserve them for you so the refund is not possible for it.You made a three stars without experiencing and joining the activity which is totally unfair.
The ticket was ideal for saving time in line waiting to buy them direct and gave us access to several other areas in the church and museum. We had also been told the tickets were sold out for the Bell Tower until the next week, but we were able to find them here. Make sure to read what it gets you access to in order to understand the buildings and areas. It is a little confusing but there are signs on all the doors.
We booked our tickets through Viator to gain access to the bell tower and cathedral. There was no guide, we just met up with the tour person who gave us our tickets for entry. We were fine with this, as we have been to these historical places before. This was a last minute decision and very easy to obtain tickets for timed queues.

Dear client,
This activity is about Tickets to the bell tower and other monuments mentioned in the activity inclusion. Our representative provided you the tickets as per description on your reserved time and guided you about entry points. Your three star ratings are not justifiable as we provided all the services perfectly as per mentioned in the activity.
We were so glad we did Skip the line tickets and would recommend doing it later in the day to see the sunset. Beautiful view from the Bell Tower. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, light weight clothing and bring a bottle of water for the 414 stairs to climb.
Good organisation, tour guide was easy to find. Great views from the tower and would highly recommend
I had an amazing time looking at the view of Florence from the top of Giotto’s Bell Tower. Today was probably one of the nicest days of the year so the views were exquisite. And the cathedral absolutely blew my friend and I away. Was so cool, would totally recommend!
