Palazzo Pitti is amazing. It contains beautiful artwork and the ceilings are breathtaking. And Boboli Gardens Provide beautiful views of the city. There are many steps to climb in the palace, and surprisingly in the garden, too. But they are worth it.

I’m unhappy with Viator. I paid $81.83 for the tour for 2 people that I thought included a tour guide and skip the line. My tour was set for 1130 am and no one showed up. The man who worked at the line of pitti palace helped me by calling the agent. If he didn’t call the agent I would not have known there was NO tour guide ….so how was I supposed to enter with NO tickets?? The agent finally emailed them at 1145 am after the call. So I paid extra money for no guide and no audio…. And no skip the line. I could have bought those tickets there for only $50. Why would I use Viator???

There was no line upon entry. Not sure if there is another entrance for folks without a ‘skip-the-line’ ticket. We enjoyed going at our pace.

The Boboli Gardens are amazing. However you can pay 9 euros at the gate to get in. These scammers charge 22euros and the tickets are not accepted at the gate. Do not use Viator.

Little did we know that once we walked 20 minutes uphill in 30°C heat to reach the Boboli Gardens entrance, we couldn’t even redeem our tickets. We were told we had to go all the way back down to the Uffizi Gallery to meet a man who would hand us the actual tickets. That’s another 20-minute walk, over the bridge and through crowds, completely pointless and makes no sense.
We paid over £40 for “skip the line” access, but when we got there on a Saturday morning in July, it wasn’t busy at all. There was no line. So essentially, we paid a hefty premium just to have someone hold our tickets at a totally unrelated location. In the end, we gave up and just bought new tickets at the entrance for €10 each.
While the gardens themselves are beautiful, they are very hilly and there were no refreshment stands open - no water, no snacks, nothing. There was a sign on the map for an ice cream stand, but we never found it. We made the mistake of not bringing water, assuming (like most tourist attractions) there would be places to buy some. Big regret.
If you go, bring a picnic, take water, and buy your ticket at the gate. Don’t make the same mistake we did. This operator is a waste of money and causes more hassle than help. Maybe I should have read the small print or maybe they should state before buying or in their title that you have to collect the tickets elsewhere, seems like a scam!

Waste of money and time - don’t need a tour much cheaper to get at gate - go early to avoid heat - steep incline and no shade - far away to pick up tickets to actual entrance - no help anywhere

The gardens are stunning and the history incorporated there is astounding. There is so much to see no matter where you go. There is a lot of walking uphill and up stairs which can be steep and uneven but once you reach the top the views are spectacular.

Very misleading!!!! The listing does not mention anywhere that you need to pick your tickets up at a location about 15 mins walk from the actual gardens.
The gardens themselves are gorgeous but you’re better off just buying tickets when you get there, which is what we ended up having to do

The gardens were beautiful but don’t waste your money on skip the line tickets. It was not crowded when we arrived. The tickets for the gardens only were €10 each. I paid over $150 CAD for the tickets through Viator.

The redemption area for getting your tickets ia not close to the Pitti Palace/Boboli Gardens entrance. Every other event I booked had a redemption point right across from the site. Tried to contact the tour operator and they never responded. We missed our time slot as a result. I had 8 tickets so what a waste. Will never book through a third party again. Go straight to the event llace

The WORST experience WVER!!
The ladies at the pick up ticket area were AWFUL!!! The MOST HORRIFIC customer service!!
Furthermore, the pick up location was far from the Gardens and it was MOST DIFFICULT to find that street. Not even at least 59 locals ( including the police) had no idea where the location was!! Just RIDICULOUS!!

This was a very easy self guided tour. Loved the gardens and the freedom to explore. There is so much to see and one could spend hours there to see everything.
The only thing to make this easier on yourself is make sure you pick the tickets up well before you go. The ticket office is not on the same side of river as the Garden entrance. We had to walk from the Gardens to the ticket office back to the Gardens to start the tour so we didn’t really “skip” any line but that was more user error than anything.

Amazing gardens. Worth the trip to Bardini Gardens. Amazing view from Bardini and a bar/cafe. Read up ahead of time as there are no English translations of anything. So beautiful.

The voucher wouldn’t load after several tries. I did not want to bother calling for help because we didn’t want to spend time on the phone so we gave up and moved onto another activity. We were traveling with a toddler so patience was a luxury and if you have patience, might be worth using this skip the line service.

Easy process to book thru Viator. Also made it easy to change time when we ran late.
The walk thru Boboli Garden was very nice, there is some wonderful statues in the garden and the view of Firenze was breathtaking. The garden has many hills and one should be cautious with the walk.

We found that the steep uphill climb to the gardens was too much for us to undertake. We should have been warned of this situation before we purchased tickets. It was a total waste of $50.00+ since we couldn’t make the climb. To say this was disappointing is an understatement. Our money should be refunded.

Bobili is huge and beautiful. The only problem was we had to collect our tickets from an office 10minutes from the entry point. It would have been easier and cheaper to purchase at the venue on the day - when not in high season
