- Guided Cathedral visits take place on afternoon tours; morning tours include independent entry after the tour with your pre-reserved tickets.
- Sandals, shoes with heels and flip-flops, slippers, and clogs, as well as shorts or skirts above the knees are not allowed inside the Cathedral. Please bring a scarf to cover up before entering.
- The Baptistery is currently undergoing restoration of the vault's mosaics.
- Please note that backpacks of any size, as well as luggage or large bags, are not allowed.
- Clients must arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour. This is due to the timed entry of the tickets.
- It is not possible to join the tour after it has commenced.
- Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.
- Please note that Cathedral visits are not available on Sundays.
- Both the Duomo Museum and the Florence Baptistery are scheduled to be visited; however, depending on timing and availability, the tour may include only one of the two sites.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers

This is the only way to go to visit the statue of David and the Duomo. Our guide was so well informed, and the information I received, I would never have known had I not gone on the tour. It was also wonderful that we skipped all the lines and had some pretty private time in the chapel. We got to tour the chapel when you had to have a reservation to get in. Our guide was not only well educated she was very organized and I was amazed how smoothly we flowed through everything.

Have taken many viator tours including in Italy. Worst we have ever experienced, both in terms of the guides knowledge but also attitude. Have complained and they managed very badly. The tour was only 5 people and halfway through tour, the male guide got annoyed with two people (not in our party) who wanted to take a photo so walked off and left them. Didn’t bother waiting or looking. He seems annoyed. Have complained and Viator haven’t tried to help.

Totally worth it! It was so peaceful and quiet entering the cathedral before opening time and the rare VIP access to the terrace was such an experience. Manita was a very passionate guide. Really enjoyed our time with her. The visit to the opera del duomo museum was eye opening and Manila’s detailed explanation made the visit so much more meaningful.

Well worth the extra expense to have access to the terrace surrounding the roof and to skip the very++ long line queuing outside. The guide helped explain the sparse interior of the Duomo and we were able to walk along the internal balcony to get a unique pertussis of the church floor and nave. The Baptistry roof is completely obscured by scaffolding currently which was disappointing.

A phenomenal tour that took us to the terraces where many other tour groups do not go. You can climb the bell tower on your own time - your ticket does include access to this but not to climb the dome. We got to see the museum and the baptistery (though this was mostly under renovation). Our guide was wonderful and informative. Would definitely recommend!

The tour of the museum, the baptistry, the inside of the Duomo and the terrace was perfect. Im afraid of heights, so I didnt want to climb the cupola. The terrace was high too, but I did it. My husband also climbed the bell tower. The tour was a great value.

Loved this tour! Martina was a wonderful tour guide. Born and raised in Florence, it was clear she has a passion for history and art. We learned so much during our time. The best part was the duomo terrace! What a hidden gem... I would recommend over climbing the duomo and the bell tower. Less work and similar pay off! Would totally recommend

A wonderful tour of the Duomo complex with guide Kiara who brought the tour alive with her knowledge and enthusiasm. We were upgraded to Terrace access which proved to be the highlight of the tour with fantastic views across Florence. Communication from the company was excellent and everything went smoothly, would recommend.
