Check Sunday availability for churches

Diane_L, Mar 2026
Signage was not great-some line was crazy long; cathedral was closed on Sunday—should not have been sold as part of our tickets. Overpriced and not good directions.

Dome

Amy_K, Feb 2026
The Dome is incredible - make sure to climb to the top! We had a tour guide to explain a little bit about the dome as we waited in line and that was worth booking - to give context to what we were looking at!

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Duomo timed entry Santa Maria Nuvella Duomo

glenda_s, Jan 2026
The ticket for the Duomo is great, it included the Cathedral, Baptistery, the Bell tower and Santa Reparata.. it is hard to get this done in a day so the pass is good for 72 hours. It is better to buy it there cause it only cost u €30 rather than The amount Viator of abt $58 but u cant. buy convenience. since it is january in the moddle of winter, u are better off buying it same days

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Thank you for your detailed feedback! Glad to hear that you enjoyed exploring the full complex of the Florence Cathedral, including the Cathedral, Baptistery, Bell Tower, and Santa Maria Novella. Yeah, the 72-hour pass is indeed designed to give flexibility, allowing visitors to comfortably experience each site at their own pace. While tickets may sometimes be available on-site during quieter seasons, many travelers prefer booking in advance to secure guaranteed entry times. Booking in advance ensures a smoother experience and guaranteed entry, especially during peak seasons. Regards, Natalia

Operator accepted payment for timed-entry tickets which is did not honor, failed to provide refund.

ML_D, Jan 2026
This operator showed timed-entry tickets available. I purchased tickets and received confirmation via email specifying the date and time. Shortly after, I was contacted by the operator via WhatsApp, who said it would not honor the time specified on my tickets. I responded by requesting a refund. No refund was provided. This operator sells timed-entry tickets that it does not have through Viator.

Would definitely recommend this tour - it was a true queue skip and Becky the tour guide was great and gave us a good tour of the city beforehand - it was the perfect amount of time. We went on to do some other tours on our trip in Italy and Becky was definitely the best.

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Canceled

David_B, Jan 2026
My time was canceled due to overcrowding. Probably should have done some better control on your numbers

Response from Host, Jan 2026

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry that your scheduled time was canceled due to overcrowding. We understand how disappointing this must have been, especially when planning a visit around a specific time. Crowd management at the Dome is strictly regulated by the authorities to ensure visitor safety, and occasional last-minute changes can unfortunately occur. We appreciate your understanding once again thanks for your feedback

Worth the cost!

Dianne_M, Jan 2026
This was definitely worth it. We waited for less than 15 minutes to get into the cathedral to climb the Dome. It was a LOT of steps but absolutely worth it! Breathtaking!

Response from Host, Jan 2026

Jade_W, Jul 2025
AMAZING way to see all of the cathedral complex and skip the lines! Definitely recommend climbing the dome and it’s so nice that they give you access to the remaining areas in the complex for 72 hours so we were able to spread our itinerary out. Would book again!

Response from Host, Sep 2025

Cordialement, Natalia

Beautiful ascents

ERIC_G, Nov 2025
We have to do the Duomo first before the Campanile. There is a huge market at both places. The Dome is harder to climb. You have to be in good shape.
