Incredible tour through Florence on an e-bike. The morning was a great choice as it was a beautiful day and not too hot for the ride. The guide was great, lots of local history and took us all through the city. It was a very authentic feeling to experience the city. We had two kids who were able to ride the bikes 12+. It was a ride to remember!
Staff was super friendly with my son. Never done a bike ride with him on the back, but the extra weight want noticeable other than the first pedal. Very pretty view of the city near the end
Some experience of e bikes is helpful as they are much heavier than ordinary ones.
Experience of cycling in traffic and congested areas also good.
Try to check the bike before starting off as some bikes had no bell and for my husband, his bike was difficult to change power levels and also the chain came off!! The brakes on 1 bike were not as good as they could have been - more maintenance of bikes please
Ask if you want a cycle helmet.
Our guide Chiara was excellent. Lots of info in short bite sized bits and good stories as well. She made sure we were safe at all times and was able to detour where roads were closed.
