The places visited change depending upon availability, however you might take a look at the historical McKinney Avenue Trolleys, and see where they are maintained and restored. One of the trolley cars, Rosie, is the oldest running trolley car in the United States, dating back more than 100 years. You might also take in the second oldest cemetery in Dallas and a civil war burial ground.

If you wish, after the tour you can hop on the trolley for a free ride to the Dallas Arts District.

Fun in Dallas

We had a great time with TFoA-Dallas, well worth it!!

James_V, Mar 2026
Highly recommend, as older gentleman, I chose Food Tours of America - Dallas as our 2nd date (Note: My date chose the 1st place went too, so the 2nd date was my turn) and we could not be happier with how the overall experience went for us. Our tour guide Annabelle was very knowledgeable, courteous and pleasant. The overall food experience was fantastic. As part of our tour there was a very lovely family we got to meet, and they seemed to enjoy it as well. For those that are concerned with the review about walking, yes, you do walk as part of this, however, it is not a crazy amount of walking. I am 60 and my date is 58 and we found it to be no issue. I hope if you choose TFoA - Dallas as something you do, that you find it as exceptional as we did.

Fun tour

Courtney is a great host. She picked out some great local restaurants. The stop at the trolley garage was a nice touch of history.

It’s really not a trolley tour. We were only on the trolley like 5 minutes. Misleading!!! There is walking involved. People who sign up for a trolley tour do not want to walk. That is one of the reasons they signed up for a trolley tour.. you were fortunate assembly was not disabled. Overall, I did like the tour. Thank you!

First time, but not my last time!

Brionne_B, Nov 2025
This tour was everything! Our tour guide, Jim, was so much fun and a wealth of knowledge from the restaurants we dined at to the area and its history. The food was amazing and included a diverse assortment of flavors without being too over the top. The trolley ride was a different but very fun experience and being able to visit the actual trolley station for a behind the scenes look and tour was also cool. This was my first time visiting Dallas and I did the tour solo and absolutely recommend it as a great way to meet and connect with new people while exploring such a beautiful and amazing city while diving into its history and exploring so many amazing foods! I highly recommend and will be checking out the other tours along my travels :)

Absolutely Amazing

First of all I want to give a shout out to the sweetest tour guide ever, Annabella, she was so knowledgeable about every place we ate giving us the history and details of the foods we would be eating. The food was excellent at every stop and we definitely got full! Annabella even bought birthday candles at our last stop to put a candle on my daughter's bakery item so we could sing Happy Birthday!!! This was a first food tour for us and well worth every penny!!!

Tour was great! Allie was very enthusiastic and made excellent suggestions for non-tour dining. Food was fantastic. The brunch items at The Rustic were delicious, as was the chicken shawarma at Baboush. Skirt steak tacos at TNT Tacos N Tequila were delish, as was burger at Eureka.

We really enjoyed our Dallas Uptown Food Tour. We had a great group of people and our tour guide Jim was excellent at his job! Jim took the time to educate us on the local sights as well as the yummy food. He went out of his way to help direct us to our next destination since we were not familiar with the area. We would highly recommend this tour to our fellow travelers and Dallas locals as well!
