Our building is located on the right side of Pete's Pier Marina at 1 SW 1st Place, Crystal River FL 34429. There is a USD 10.00 Parking Fee to be paid upon arrival to the parking attendant. Must arrive 30 minutes prior to reservation start time to complete check-in process.

We do our best to mention it on the website, booking confirmations, and when folks call, but we obviously dropped the ball on making it crystal-clear for you this time. Easy to find, hard working, helpful, friendly staff. Large, sturdy kayaks with comfortable seats. Easy to follow directions/map. We LOVED our 4 hour rental and self-guided excursion. EXCELLENT $ Value. We will now include this excursion on every trip to this area. (Saw SO MANY manatees, turtles & fish, but even if we hadn’t we would have enjoyed it thoroughly)

Great trip, great yaks, and an all around fun time. My only issue (which isn't even this companies fault or problem) is way too many inexperienced boaters on the water.

Fantastic experience! It’s my first time kayaking in the open water. All the staffs are very helpful and friendly! Learn how to use the paddles from other paddlers nearby. Saw different birds, a mother and baby manatee, a turtle and even a dolphin. Enjoy the trip a lot

We had to walk 5 blocks.to the kayak. We weren't given any direction or where we could possibly see any manatees and we paid 40$ to rent googles and snorkel and the water is dirty like river water. We basically got handed our kayaks and let push out into the water. Terrible experience, will not return

We are sorry to hear snot your experience but it really does not seem possible hope you described it. First off, you did not have to walk 5 blocks, there is a parking lot there that costs $5, but you CHOSE to walk the 5 blocks. Secondly, we don’t just hand you a kayak and say “here you go,” we give you a map and tell you where some springs are. The springs are literally marked on the maps….. that’s where the clearest water is. I’m guessing you are just one of the people who do not listen to instructions as you can read from our other reviews that people LOVE how clear the water is, and how great our launch guys are…. Also, it’s a 640 acre refuge, as manatees could be anywhere. During manatee season there arecertain spots you will always find them, but in the warmer months they could be anywhere. They are not in cages like a zoo, you paddle around and look to find them. It’s sad that you came to such a beautiful area and were so miserable.

Thank you so much for taking your tour with us. Seeing manatees on warmer days is hit or miss since it is an natural environment and they are free to go wherever they choose. Some tours see many, some see a few, and some see none but that is very rare. Please come back to visit us again and hopefully you did get a good education about the area and saw a bunch of other wildlife.

We just love watching the beautiful Manatee’s, aptly named gentle giants. Even though there weren’t a lot of Manatee‘s like I have seen in other photos, the ones we saw were still amazing and the whole trip was relaxing, enjoyable, and totally worth it! We look forward to future visits!

It was definitely fun kayaking with friends but the experience was much more ‘touristy” than nature/eco focused. Be prepared for some healthy exercise paddling in the open waters in the bay.

We are glad you had a good time but are confused as to why 3 stars... There are several places to kayak to in our area that are definitely secluded but you have to realize that this is the #1 kayaking spot in the entire state of Florida and you visited at spring break time. Please come back to visit us on a weekday when it's not when everyone is in Florida and you will see how secluded it really is. Thanks again for joining us though. Take care :)

I would give them a higher rating but for me in my 70s, the distance was too far to three sisters and it was all houses along the coastline very built up. Too bad they sold all that coastline.
As far as the service the guys were great. The kayaks were old but comfortable.

There are several places to kayak that are closer so three stars for that is not really accurate. Thank you for visiting us though :)

Hyped up vacation spot. Very overcrowded. Poor directions to kayak launch. Suggest path markers along the route. Front desk staff were not very friendly. Dock staff was great.

First off you came on the third busiest weekend of the year which is Easter weekend. Like you arrived during a bust weekend, so did hundreds of other people in the area. That's like going to Disney on a holiday weekend and complaining about the amount of people.
As far as directions to the launch: A. We verbally tell you how to get to the launch area, and B. There is a HUGE map in front of our shop with written instructions on how to get to the launch area as well!!!!
Seriously, why do people not pay attention to instructions and then complain about no instructions being given lol?!?!?!?!?
P.S. When someone arrives on a super busy weekend and that person obviously is not listening to the instructions, I might tend to come off as being rude too.

Extremely frustrating that nothing stated that we weren’t going to be able to actually go in Three sisters spring as it is not open until April 1st. Even the guy where we put the kayaks in the water, made it sound like he was unsure if it was going to be open which is messed up because he knew it was closed off to the public at this time of year. We drove over two hours to go do this, and then the 40 minute paddle out to three sisters springs, and at least a 40 minute paddle back, and all the money spent, for nothing. I had been looking forward to going to crystal river for many years and I was extremely disappointed to say the least.

Sorry to hear that, but unfortunately it IS listed all over the place that Three Sisters Springs is closed until April 1st. When our employee wasn’t sure, that’s because you weren’t listening and he wasn’t sure if it was open for swimming or not. Some days the springs are open to swim but we do not control that. Three Sisters Springs decides which days is open the morning of. There is no way of knowing that in the morning. From April 1st through November 14th it is open every single day to kayak inside and swim inside. The other times of the year it is closed to all water craft.
Evidently you didn’t read all of the details or research anything at all before coming. That is completely on you at that point. We lay out the details but if you don’t take the time to read them then what can we do for you?!?!?
The ironic thing is that you could have swam inside the springs because it was open that day, you just couldn’t paddle inside.
A one star review to us because you were too lazy to do research before booking your trip and driving 2 hours is entirely on you :)
