Mike was the perfect guide: personable, knowledgeable, flexible, unflappable. He made everything a breeze and was fun to hang around with. He was laser-focused on meeting our specific needs.
Onto the food: The clam fritters and shrimp at Chatham Pier Fish Market couldn’t be any fresher if we yanked them out of the water ourselves. We loved the dive-bar atmosphere of The Chatham Squire, a personal favorite for drinks. Aplaya Kitchen is a must-visit for its vibe-y outdoor tiki garden — we sampled the poke bowl and chicken skewers and will be back for more. Wild Goose Tavern wowed us with lobster cheesy garlic bread and crispy brussels sprouts (we brought leftovers home and enjoyed them all over again). We thought we couldn’t eat any more, but we soldiered on to Buffy’s Ice Cream. As one member of our party put it: “I’ve been coming to Buffy’s for years and never ordered their ice cream sandwiches. Thanks to this tour, now it’s the only thing I’ll order.” Impeccably soft cookies, creamy ice cream and fillings, yummy flavor combos (black raspberry and chocolate chip were two of the best).
Would definitely do this tour again next time we are in Chatham!

This was a fun way to see Chatham while experiencing some local food. The trip could’ve been condensed to 2 hours long. Meeting in downtown would have saved some time and unnecessary walking, and would have allowed for more free time exploring on our own. The food choices were really good and the guide is friendly.
Legend has it that some local friends got together to show off their knowledge and history chops… it was the beginning of pre summer season and I paid for the lobster upgrade. 1/2 fat and plump roll to get you started! And views and food just kept piling up. The whole crew caters to you like VIP and give a solid compass for future Chatham visits! Spectacular views, great food, lots of stories and just wicked awesome people!!!!
Lovely way to explore Chatham. Cathy did a great job showing us the must see spots in Chatham and introduced to very swanky spots and local dive spots. All while trying some very yummy food. This is a great way to spend a few hours in town. I would definitely recommend and look forward to revisiting some of those spots again. Linda, Merrimack NH
Great tour. I know more about Chatham Bar than I did before and we drank and ate in places we wouldn’t of know about , Tiki Bar etc

Absolutely amazing food tour! Kathy, our guide, was absolutely fantastic, knowledgeable, patient, friendly and engaging and she made the whole experience so much fun. She shared interesting stories and history along the way and every food stop was delicious and thoughtfully chosen. Kathy was a great tour leader. It was fun walking around the downtown and sampling the food. The ice cream store, Buffy’s was so yummy!
The tour began with a great lobster roll, then we walked through beautiful neighborhoods to the center of Chatham. We had delicious food stops - Aplaya, The Wild Goose Tavern and then a sweet treat at Buffy’s!
Our tour guide, Kathy, was friendly, personable and knowledgeable about the history and facts of Chatham. She was aware of the needs of those in our group.

Food was good, walk was enjoyable, not exerting at all, group was introduced to quaint little spots that would've been hard to find as a tourist
Very fun and informative tour! Mike was a great tour guide! Food was delicious - best lobster roll that I have ever had! Enjoyed the tour of the Chatham Inn and really enjoyed the Pilipino food (and the Mai Tai!) at Aplaya! Enjoyed seeing the fishing boats come in and the seals at the Fish Pier! Highly recommend this tour in beautiful Chatham!
It was great and our guide was so personable a the only thing I would point out was that Viator mentioned coupons for local shops and restaurants but we didn’t receive those.

The Chatham Food Tour is an excellent blend of food, local history and folklore. Fabulous food choices highlight Chatham's eclectic culinary options all while enjoying many breathtaking views. Chatham is a gem on Cape Cod, and this tour just provides more one more reason to return.

To begin with… Thank you, Mike for a wonderful experience! We began at the Chatham pier where we saw seals frolicking in the water and fisherman bringing in their catch( a 650 lb tuna) then dinedwith delicious clam fritters and shrimp cocktail (so fresh & delicious). Then it was on to Chatham bars with a beautiful view of the bay continuing on a walk through downtown Chatham and stop at the wild goose Tavern for two tasty appetizers. Ending with ice cream at Buffys!
It was very enjoyable. This was my first time exploring Chatham. I like that we got to got to three very different style of restaurant, a pub, and an ice cream store.

Mike was a great tour guide. Knowledgeable, friendly and able to make connections with his guests. The food on the tour was very good and the sights were notable and perfect for the Chatham area must haves when you visit. Tour was definitely worth the money. Our family of four had a very nice time
