Enjoy a ride over Breckenridge’s Country Boy Mine in a specially made monster truck built to pull a hay ride. Take in the views and learn more about the area’s gold rush past from your guide while you ride in an intimate group of no more than 12 people. If the weather permits, you can roast s’mores and try your hand at gold panning.

Mike, the owner (who's from Australia) started the Country Boy Mine 2 years ago. He was our personal tour guide on the Monster Truck sleigh ride. He was energetic and passionate while telling the history of gold mining in Colorado. S'mores are offered after the ride and you can feed the donkeys, Jack and Jenny. There's also panning for gold, tubing, and extreme sledding. All 4 adults and 4 boys (ages 4 and 6) LOVED this experience. SUPER family friendly! Thanks so much Mike!

The staff make this experience the best!! The monster truck ride is short (approx. 45 mins), but the workers are so knowledgeable.

Family enjoyed the mine history as well as the monster trucks used for the tour. Kids enjoyed the sledding/tubing and the slide down to the parking lot was an awesome experience.

We had perfect weather on this bluebird day and all the people (tour guide & other riders) were all very friendly. Will definitely keep following Country Boy Mine on FB to track any new attractions as the location was a nice spot away from the busyness of the other options nearby and I look forward to booking with them in the future as they expand.

Our tour guide Keith was amazing. Took time to talk to the kids and answer all question’s. Was one of the high lights of our vacation. My son said he was coming back on his 8th birthday to be a gold minor with Keith.

Had a great time and our grand kids learned a lot about mining and the early miners in the area. Made smores and went sledding after the ride and got to pet the burros.
It's not a long sleigh ride, but was a good length for kids and the other activities kept them entertained.

Loved it! It was a perfect mix of history and fun for the whole family. Could not recommend enough. We had a 6 and a 16 year old and both loved it. And us adults enjoyed it also!

Our two families were just looking for something a little more affordable to do while we were on vacation. We got more than expected! Our tour guide was so passionate and very knowledgeable about the mine and all its history. Even the little kids got into it and learned some. Then they let us just play on the 🛷 and the little hill. No one rushed us to leave and really let us adults and the little kids have a lot of fun!!! This will be a annual thing for us to do! We loved it!!!
