The ride and our driver was awesome went to the chatuex and 1 drive tru lighting I thought there was 2 but other then that driver was very friendly and very informative

Diana, thank you for the 5 Star review. So glad you enjoyed the Chateau on the Lake. It's one of my favorite places. I don't know why you didn't go to/thru 2 different displays. We should have taken you thru Big Cedar Lodge's light displays as well as the "Lights of Joy" display. I will check on this to see if there was some reason beyond our control that we didn't tour both places that evening. Thank you again!

Michael is very engaging and knowledgeable about the history of the area which we appreciated. The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and played Christmas music which our granddaughter enjoyed very much!
We stopped at 2 beautiful hotels to check out their gingerbread house displays. We highly recommend this tour

We enjoyed a nice ride, in a clean, comfortable van with Michael. He was funny and drove us to a beautiful hotel decorated to the nines. The lodge and surrounding lights were beautiful. We enjoyed the ride.

Just as described. Driver (Michael) was courteous and informative without talking too much. Seems to be pricey, but worth it. Very comfortable transportation and frequent enough potty breaks.

Michael was funny and knowledgeable. He gave great tips about how to navigate the area and was also attentive to my mid-70s mom. The light choices were lovely and maximized to avoid traffic.

Definitely the way to see the lights in Branson. Our driver/tour guide, Michael, was entertaining and knowledgeable. The bus was comfortable. I would take this tour again.

It was a good trip. We should have done an earlier trip because the length of drive between stops my kids fell asleep and the he missed most of it. However Michael did a great job! The lights we saw were great!

Not a good experience at all. The bus had at least 3 seats that should have not been utilized due the the views being horrible.

Libby, we hate it when guests don't love our tours. Our Mercedes Sprinter seats 18 passengers. We will not sell that many tickets, because we want everyone to be comfortable and be able to see as best they can.

Shepard on the hill. The christmas lights were beautiful.
I wish they could go to big cedar. They are trying to work that out. Very professional tour.

We are so glad you enjoyed the Christmas lights tour in Branson. We appreciate you mentioning the cleanliness and comfort of our mercedes sprinter van also. We spend a lot of time and money making sure our vehicles are in great condition and are up very clean. Thank you also for mentioning the water we provide on our tours. Literally, last night I had a person complain because Mike didn't "OFFER" her water, even though he told everyone at the beginning of the tour that water was available on the van. But she apparently was offended that he didn't verbally offer it to her on the tour. And, as you know, the ice chest is at the entrance of the van when you get on and off. All anyone has to do is reach down and help themselves! Sometimes we just can't win!!! Sad :-(

When I say we absolutely hate to have to cancel tours. But our policy, on viator as well as our own website and other companies that sell our tickets state, we require a minimum of 4 people before we go out. Though we're not perfect, we try very hard to notify guests at least 12 to 18 hours prior to tour time if we are going to cancel. We also always offer to move them to another tour time if possible. Concerning the refund, when you book through Viator, you pay them and have to get your refund from them. As always, it's best to book directly with us. Please give us another chance on next Branson visit.

This was the most delightful and entertaining light tour! Everyone was welcoming. Mike, the tour guide and driver was hilarious, friendly, and informative. It felt like more of an adventure with family rather than an akward new group activity. Mike is also a very cautious driver. You will learn every detail about the beautiful city of Branson. The lights and scenery you will tour are spectacular. I highly recommend booking this adventure for your entire family. There was zero stress navigating the various places we toured. You get to relax and view lights and scenery; they take care of the stress of driving and navigating traffic. Lights, music, and fun are a fantastic way to start off your holiday adventure. It was an adventure and Christmas memory we will never forget!!

Michael was excellent! Great tour, stops, music. We thought he was excellent.
Viator directions were horrible!. We went to two places before we found the correct location. We could have missed it. The Viator paper I downloaded had 3 different addresses. As it turns out, VIP tours moved a year ago and the address is on Viator - BUT the old address is there in 2 different ways. Also, the name of the theater “to look for” in the Viator directions is NOT the name of the theater where VIP is located. Please correct!!! Our whole bus had had trouble finding it.

Sandy, we tried for months to get Viator to change the old address to our new address, and it finally, after months, got changed. But, anyone who booked before the change was made on their website, was not notified by Viator about the correction. It has all been corrected now! Thank you for the 4 Star review!

Not very good. The driver couldn’t even manage to time seeing the fountains at the landing on time. They go off every hour on the hour! He said it was just hard to hit it just right! 😂
We got there 3 minutes late!
Didn’t start on time. Wasted 20 minutes waiting then trying to find people who were at the address on the Viator tickets- which is also VERY DUMB to publish the wrong address on the online tickets.
Then since we were late, the 2 drive through lights we did see, he drove through f a s t!!! Couldn’t even get a picture.
Pretty shabby operation.

Terri, thank you for the review! Concerning the fountains at the landing: there is no mention of the fountains in any of our descriptions, because it is not an official part of our tour. When we have time, as a bonus, we will drive back behind the landing so our guests can get one of the best views of the huge nativity scene on Mount Branson, across the lake from Branson Landing. The fountains are something that is visible while we are in that area. Concerning starting the tour late (because we went out of the way to pick up people who went to the wrong location), all I can say is, what if it were you and your family that went to the wrong place? Would you want us to go ahead with the tour and not come get you too? Concerning going fast through the displays...uh, you can't go through the displays fast! But, even if we did, how would you know that it was any faster than the tour before or after yours? I really do hate it that you weren't happy with the tour, but to name call us (shabby operation) is uncalled for and petty!

The directions to the meeting place are AWFUL. INFO on your site had 2 different addresses, the meeting place says VIP, no mention of Viator. Everyone on the bus had problems finding it! Get better directions on your site. This was very annoying

Terry, thank you for touring with us and taking the time to write a review. Your review is really more about Viator/TripAdvisor than VIP Tours of Branson. As I mentioned in a previous review response, we tried for months to get Viator/TripAdvisor to change the address, and they wouldn't do it. We finally got it changed, but for all the people who booked prior to the correction, Viator did not send a notice of the new address. We could and should have done a better job ourselves of notifying guests that booked through Viator, about the address change. We did notify a LOT of people. I'm sorry you weren't one of them. Glad you enjoyed the tour and the driver. Those are the parts we have control over!

Awe enjoyed it.
However, please do not allow alcohol on the tour. The people we were on the tour with were so rude and loud. Drinking the whole tour. Made it very uncomfortable.

If people bring drink cups on with them and they have alcohol in those cups and we don't know about it, there's nothing we can really do about it. If people tell us they want to bring alcoholic drinks on the tour, we tell them that we don't allow it, and encourage them to book a private tour instead. I really am sorry that they made you (and probably others) uncomfortable!
