What To Expect
Your 5-hour small-group wine-tasting and dinner tour of Branson begins when you meet your guide at the Branson Event Center and board the comfortable bus. Your guide will tell you about local history, culture, and the wine industry along the way, and can provide extra tips for your stay in Branson.
Throughout the afternoon, visit three different wineries or two wineries and one distillery, depending on the availability on the day. Either way, you’ll sample a range of delicious local drinks, with around 15 samples included.
The final step is a tasty 3-course meal at a grill restaurant. Feast on an appetizer of salad or soup, an entree of beef, chicken, fish, or a vegetarian option, and a dessert of the chef’s choice, which is usually a type of cake. The tour ends with transfers back to where it started.

- Gratuities for your driver-guide are very much appreciated. 15% is standard.

If I had to write the tour by itself without the guide, I would give it a five! We went to some cool places and had some great tastings. We were driving down the road and all getting ready to fall asleep because he was playing Kenny G jazz music over the radio. We were an older crowd except for me. I was 51 but at the first stop, we all agreed by the second stop. We were kind of done with jazz. I said something to that to work I like why don’t you put on 90s music that would be so much better for us to which he told me no I don’t like that music. I was like well it’s for us not for you and he told the whole tour of us. I can’t believe this 35-year-old wants to listen to old people music sir I’m 51 first of all Then he proceeded to turn on music in the minute somebody showed interest he changed it. He did that about four times before he settled on something then we kind of giggled and he told us to shut up not once but twice completely unprofessional and rude.
I just cannot believe I was treated this way by a tour guide. Somebody that was supposed to make sure we had fun totally ruined my experience.

Literally one of the worst food and wine tours I’ve ever been on. At one point I was told to “suck down” my wine flight. There is literally no one sharing anything with you about the places you’re going. Want to know about the grapes? Sorry, not this tour. Want to know anything about the wineries? Sorry, not this tour. Hurry and get off the bus, suck down your wine, and head to the next one. Terrible experience.

Our driver and guide Michael did a fantastic job narrating our journey and driving us safely to and from each venue. Venues were accommodating and friendly. Distillery tour at Mr. Whiskey was a bonus! Highly recommend this excursion, as dinner was excellent as well.

The idea is nice but one winery did not give the amount of wine they advertise. And a different restaurant would also be nice, the one we went to was mediocre at best.

The wine tour was the best part of our trip. We met some great people, had lots of laughs. Our tour guide was the best, the dinner on our tour was also amazing. I will go every time I’m in Branson" this was the same tour with the same driver going to the same places and eating the same meal. It just goes to show people's different perspective.

The driver was nice but drove fast and the ride was very jerky. The bear creek winery doesn’t give the 2 oz pour as advertised. They pour about 1.5 oz so you feel that are not getting your monies worth particularly since their wine flight price is $11 for 4 while the Lindwedel winery only charges $10 for 5-2 oz pours; the Lindwedel winery is much better and the bar tenders are much nicer. Now maybe the bear Creek winery personnel weren’t that friendly because they only take credit cards so you could not tip them for the poor as they cannot accept cash; When we reserved our booking, it asked for allergies and I specified nuts. You would think they would’ve communicated that to the restaurant, they did not. The meal came with a salad your choice of entrée and a dessert. The salad did not list the ingredients, so I did not know that it would come with nuts which it did and so did the carrot cake. I am not sure why they bother to ask about allergies since they did not communicate it to the restaurant, so why even bother?

Linda, honestly we've never thought about checking the measurements of the pores at the tasting locations. When you book online through TripAdvisor or viator they may ask you about food allergies but that information is not transmitted to us as the tour company. So we did not have that information. But I know Black oak grill is extremely accommodating and easy to work with and happy to take care of special requests. So I trust that all was well that ended well.

The three tasting places were perfect! The drinks were delicious and the people were kind and informative. (Not to mention hilarious at the distillery!) We plan to return to each! The dinner was also delicious! I recommend the salmon highly!

Our group really enjoyed the tour. All the locations were fun and we enjoyed the tastings. We did one winery, one winery with frozen winearita and IPA options (we chose the frozen winearitas since it was such a hot day and they were delicious) and one distillery. Dinner at Black Oak Grill was excellent. Our driver/tour guide was great. Thank you for a great evening!

We are familiar with the area already so it was a fun experience but felt it was geared more to first timers. Maybe create a tour for visitors that are familiar and just want to wine taste without the worry of driving. Restaurant air conditioner was not working not that vip tours could fix that but we also did not have a view of the taneycomo.

Concerning the view or the lack thereof, of lake taneycomo from the restaurant, Black oak grill, we have asked TripAdvisor via tour to change that text in the description of the tour. Because there isn't a really good view of the lake from the restaurant. But they have not removed that part of the description so far.

Great tour! We drove through some beautiful places. The wine tasting was fun and we made some new friends. Our dinner was at the Black Oak Grill and the food was delicious. Our tour driver, Michael was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He made the trip enjoyable!

Our guide Mike was phenomenal! He has a great personality and was punctual and full on fun facts throughout the tour. All 3 of the places he chose gif the tour were wonderful but the distillery was the most fun! Definitely recommend!!

We had a great experience with Mike as our tour guide! We visited two wineries and one brewery. The first winery was great and we bought some wine to take home. The second winery had live music and an incredible outdoor area and view! The brewery was unique and interesting. I ordered a Bloody Mary with moonshine and it was good but very potent. Dinner at Black Oak was very good. Best of all we met another couple and got to have lots of fun chatting with them. Highly recommend this tour! This is the first time we've ever done something like this and we would do it again.

So he is well versed in all kinds of information and history. Thanks for mentioning "the food" too! Black Oak Grill is our favorite partner in the tour. They always do a great job and serve great food. That's why we have never worked with another restaurant in the past 7 years!

Tour van broke down but the guide was super friendly and great conversationalist, everyone was understanding. Entire trip felt like a bunch of friends just having a good time and a lot of the wine was pretty good.

Fredrick, thank you for being so positive about a very stressful situation (for us at least). Your review hits it right on the mark. This tour is about having fun and getting to know other people. We see it time after time. Start the tour as strangers, then at the end standing in the parking lot talking with "new friends" and exchanging phone numbers, Facebook connections, etc. Thank you again for being so patient and understanding that day. The transmission failed in that vehicle and it going to cost about $6,000.00 to replace. A bad review would have hurt our business. Thereby hurting our finances to pay for the repairs. God bless you and the others on that tour!
