Tour guide did not show up, did not respond to text messages, and call went to voicemail.
Luckily, cultural center has free tours, which we took instead of this tour that do not happen. Amazing local guide from Chicago Greeter!

This was a great tour. Kevin, the guide, wove together architecture, local history and social history into an interesting two hours. Our teenager took a lot away from the tour as well. Kevin was engaging and interesting.

Kevin gave us an amazing tour of the El. We would never have found the sites on our own. Highly recommend this for culture, history or architecture buffs. Kevin covered it all. He is very dedicated to Chicago. Hope to be back for a tour with him in the future.

Absolutely a great tour! A hidden gem! Kevin is very knowledgeable, informative and very kind. He is filled with knowledge and great insight. If you like to know more about Chicago downtown loop, it’s past, architecture and history between 1670’s to 1970’s this is a great tour. He shows you places that you could not find by your self and explain its history in great detail.

Kevin is a wonderful guide and provided a one-on-one tour for me between Christmas and New Years. If you're visiting Chicago or looking to learn more about the city's rich history, then I recommend taking a few hours out of your day for this experience.
Kevin will walk you around the Loop and through historical buildings to explain the development of the city. Highly recommend this tour and would bring my friends and family next time.

I was the only person on the tour and Kevin was amazing! His knowledge and history of Chicago were excellent. He realized that I truly love the details and spent allot of time pointing them out. Super friendly, knowledgeable, highly recommend him for any city tour. You will not be disappointed!

Kevin really knows his stuff. The former Chicago Public Library and the Marshall Fields Building were particularly interesting and memorable. The weather during our visit was unusually hot and humid. Kevin took care to adjust the pace of our walk to accommodate our needs.

Our guide Kevin was excellent & gave a wide ranging series of insights into history, architecture, & art. We realized these were buildings & spaces we’d walked past but never really seen. I was stunned by the abundance of mosaics. And will return.

Excellent!! We visited Chicago for two days with a group of good friends. We did the Loop tour with Kevin on our second day and absolutely loved it! Kevin was so welcoming and friendly, and his enthusiasm and love for Chicago make the tour interesting and enjoyable. Moreover, Kevin’s deep knowledge of Chicago history and of its architectural diversity and beauty kept everyone engaged and interested for the entire tour. Kevin was a great person to spend time learning about Chicago History with. A few times I asked about things that weren’t necessarily in our tour tract and he kindly took time to explain the additional sites. He wore a mask the entire time, kept us socially distanced from others and utilized hand sanitizer. I appreciate and recommend him.

Kevin was both enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Chicago in general and the sites along our tour in particular. This tour keyed upon architecture located inside The Loop, and I think that Kevin was also very solid with the social and personal histories behind these buildings. I recommend this tour to anybody wanting a wonderful walking tour experience.

Keith Doerksen of Wild Onion Walks was excellent...It happened to be a cold day and I was the only one on the tour, so that was very special..... Keith is so knowledgeable about his city and tailored the walk towards my interests....Next time in Chicago I will plan another tour with him, he is the best!
