ROME from the Roadside.

We had a 10 person golf cart, with a driver/tour guide & 9 tourists. Our guide was a very experienced travel agent who had also travelled extensively to more than 100 countries. He also was a a Romaphile - he loves Rome & has lived there on & off for many years. His extensive breadth of knowledge of the local history & culture of Rome, from ancient to current times, was a big plus & made the tour for us.

Renato is a fabulous tour guide!

Renato was the perfect guide and host. He was friendly, knowledgeable and informative. This was a great first day in Rome/highlights tour. He asked about our interests and planned our day around that. The golf cart was comfortable and a great way to see the sights. Renato was top notch! I’d give him more stars if I could. He even made a quick pit stop for carbs to treat my low blood sugar. Above and beyond!

Maggie our tour guide was absolutely incredible. They are just no words to describe how fun she was to be around, how much information she knew about the Vatican City and how caring she was about the whole group. She made it a complete group event keeping us included, asking questions, testing our knowledge and just being absolute legend. Thank you Maggie 100% recommend getting a tour guide not everybody gets in when you queue, the tour enables you to skip the queue. Have your tour guide take you through privileged access and provide real information about the experience.

Wonderful tour, worth every penny!

This was a wonderful, small group, tour. Amazing access to the inside lower level of the coliseum. Wonderful tour through Palentine Hill also. Our tour guide, Janina, was so very knowledgeable and her background in archeology was extremely helpful. She was witty and made the tour fun as well as educational! Throughly enjoyed our time on this tour and it was worth every penny!!

The only way to see the Vatican

Malak and Alessandro were...

Malak and Alessandro were amazing!! We had a great tour, we stopped for a quick bite to eat in the morning after they picked us from our hotel. Alessandro was a terrific driver, Malak was very knowledgeable and kind. We stopped in Pompei, the transition was seamless and the tour was incredible. The guide at the ruins truly was an expert in all the history. We then went to Positano and had lunch on the beach. The only thing I wish was if we could stay like 30-45 longer in positano to really explore all the shopping. But we understood why we could not time wise. We took a beautiful drive down the coast! We recommend this tour to anyone with a limited time but wanting to see it all !

Best of a Bad Day

We booked a private tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum with Chiara the day the areas ended up getting closed due to tragedy. We were naturally disappointed with the situation but not at all with LivTour or Chiara. Chiara was knowledgeable and engaging with reference photos and diagrams to help explain where we were and what we were looking at. Before the end of the day LivTour had already reached out saying there were working through the situation on there end. Great things to say about Chiara and the tour just a rough day for reasons totally out of their control.

Special Rome Memories

My mom and I did the Fiat 500 Retro Car Tour during our trip to Rome and it was SUCH a fun and unique experience! Riding around Rome in a vintage Fiat 500 was honestly one of the coolest ways to see the city and made for such a memorable day. Our guide was wonderful and made the entire experience so much fun. We got to see beautiful parts of Rome, stop at some amazing spots, and the professional photos were such a special bonus. Having those pictures to look back on from our trip together is something we’ll always treasure. If you’re looking for something a little different from the traditional sightseeing tours in Rome, I highly recommend this. So much fun, so many laughs, and such a great memory from our trip! 🇮🇹❤️

We recently completed a golf cart tour of Rome and it was easily the highlight of our trip! Our guide, Vito, was incredibly knowledgeable, fun, and tailored the experience perfectly to what we wanted to see. Because the cart is small, we were able to zip through narrow alleys and get right up close to major monuments. It saved our feet from miles of walking while still giving us a rich history of the city.

Go Early & See the Vatican at Its Best!

HIGHLY recommend this tour! Our group of six did the Early Bird Vatican tour with Alessia, and it was worth every penny. Alessia was superb! In addition to being an excellent guide, she is an archaeologist, which brought such an interesting scientific and historical perspective to what we were seeing. She explained not only the incredible art and treasures of the Vatican Museums, but also the construction and development of Vatican City itself. Of course, the Sistine Chapel gets all the glory—and it is incredible—but I actually loved some of the other areas of the Vatican Museums even more! The Gallery of Maps, the magnificent tapestries, and room after room of incredible statues and artwork absolutely fascinated me. There is SO much more to see here next time! The Vatican Museums are enormous, and after about 3 hours we felt like we had definitely gotten our money’s worth—and our feet had certainly had enough of standing on those hard marble floors! Alessia did a great job focusing our time on the highlights without making us feel rushed. BOOK THE EARLY TOUR! Friends who visited later that same day encountered much heavier crowds, while our earlier visit was much more manageable. Another huge plus was the luxury transportation. A very nice black van picked us up right at our vacation rental and dropped us back off afterward. After several hours touring the Vatican, it was SO nice not to have to walk farther or figure out public transportation! Excellent guide, fascinating tour, fewer crowds and convenient door-to-door transportation. We highly recommend it!

Amazing Golf Cart Tour with Isaac!

He spoke to us in perfect English but speaks other languages as well. Ask for him! He took amazing pictures for us and showed us all around the beautiful city of Rome
