Excellent food and wine tour! Our guide, Michael, was fun and incredibly knowledgeable, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. We stopped for truffle tasting, cured meats, cheese, posh pizza, pasta and gelato — all absolutely delicious. The wine flowed generously throughout, and we also met a really lovely group of people along the way. A fantastic experience I’d highly recommend!

Full belly!

I had an excellent time during this tour in Rome. Tina is a master of finding some of the best restaurants and shops that I have had the pleasure of trying. She is such a down to earth person, and I loved hearing her perspective on the Roman food scene. Tina is an expert in her field and the restaurants selected were perfect. During the tour, you get a ton of food also, which is great for getting a wide range of what the Roman cuisine is like. Highly highly recommend this tour

I would do this again!

Cathy_G, May 2026
We did a bit of walking, but it was worth it! Our guide did an excellent job. Wine & food all good & we had a fun time & met some interesting people!

Great unique Rome food tour

Sandy_A, May 2026
Our guide Tina was great! There was a nice mix of food and drinks, all in the Prati neighborhood, which was a unique area from the traditional foodie areas of Testaccio and Trastevere.

The Best Food!

Christine_C, May 2026
The guide, Vincenzo, was extremely knowledgeable about the food. He was very entertaining and enthusiastic. The food is delicious and there was prosecco, wine at the market and wine at the last restaurant and you can have another glass! Definitely enough food. Very fun. Just be aware it’s not in the most beautiful part of Rome but it’s all about the best food!

Enjoyed our time!

Jenna_C, May 2026
I really enjoyed this tour! There was some small aspect of being offered to buy products from the company, but, to be fair, everything they were selling was incredibly delicious. And it was cheaper than other food and wine tours I’ve done in Italy while still being great quality!

Fun, Delicious, and Full of Italian Charm!

John_T, May 2026
This was one of our favorite experiences in Rome. Giordano, our Italian-Australian guide, was energetic, knowledgeable, and incredibly entertaining. He made the evening feel fun and carefree while also teaching us so much about Italian staples, regional wines, cheese, and la dolce vita. His witty, cheeky personality kept the group engaged throughout the tour. The food was excellent, the fine wine was generous, and the overall experience felt authentic and well organized. If you are looking for a Rome food tour with great local insight, delicious tastings, and a guide who brings amazing energy, we would absolutely recommend this tour.

Presecco is my new favorite

I do food tours everywhere I go..some tend to not give you the true authentic taste..This gave history and lots of variety. Michael was so much fun. He definitely kept your glass full and belly tight. I will definitely come back just to do it all over again with Michael. 1000% best tour

We were guided around the Pretti area of Rome by Tina. She was great. She explained what wines to have our antipasti starters for bothe the cheese and meat. We visited 4 places in total. Pizza was the second stop, followed by pasta and then a Gelato. Everything was great.

Tour was worth the money!

Angela_C, May 2026
All the food we tried was amazing and a great variety. Tina gave us such a great explanation of everything about the food and culture. She was a great guide!

Mediocre experience.

Teresita_C, May 2026
It is like a street food n wine tour NOT a sit down. Also, I booked a Trastevere at 630 pm and they called last minute to cancel it and made it at 530 instead . i said yes knowing it will be in Trastever but ended up in Prati :(

Fun tour with great food & wine

John_T, Apr 2026
Our guide Tina was fantastic! She not only introduced us to the food and wine, but also explained their origins and history. We stayed in that part of Rome, and it was very close to Vatican City, with lots of wonderful restaurants. Every choice for restaurant / wine & food shop on the tour was excellent and very tasty. It was great being in an area with less tourists and more locals. Highly recommended!!

Not for those who are not physically fit.

Rhonda_L, Apr 2026
Not for folks who can’t stand for 2 1/2 hours straight. The leader and all of the stops were amazing but I personally prefer to sit and enjoy the wine and food selections. We only sit at the first and last stop. We were on our feet the rest of the time. After a day of walking and site seeing it was just too tiring.

Eating in Rome off the beaten track

Linda_W, Apr 2026
Jordano was a great guide! He knew a lot about the regional cheeses, meats, wine and pasta. We had a wonderful evening learning, laughing, eating & drinking - highly recommend!

Mia was amazing!

William_Z, Apr 2026
Mia was extremely knowledgeable and we learned, ate and laughed so much. This was an amazing experience!

Roman Food Tour - Terrific Night!

Mick_B, Apr 2026
The Prati Tour with Vivien guiding us was terrific! We started at La Nicchia Cafe where we warmed up with some DOP cheeses and pestos, some foods infused with different truffles, and had a nice Prosecco DOC. Next stop was the Bonci Pizzarium, with some unique pizza offerings and a nice red wine (the pineapple and potato pizza was delicious!). Il Segreto was next, where we had a sit down meal with plenty of tasty small plates (and more wine - there were options here and all were terrific!). Paciotti Salumeria was perhaps the highlight - a family owned business with multiple generations of handsome men working there and giving us a sampling of various meats and cheeses. Very entertaining! More wine here... To finish it all off, we headed to Lemongrass Gelateria. All these spots had amazing food and Vivien was a very entertaining guide, giving us a lot of background and telling a few funny tales of the area we toured through. Top notch food tour!

Roman Food Tour

Thomas_R, Apr 2026
Mia and Tommasso were entertaining and informative regarding the food consumed by Romans. The food was delicious and well complimented by the wines.

Fantastic food tour

H_F, Apr 2026
Michael was fantastic! He gave us a lot of information about Italian food and wine in a way that was entertaining and engaging. I thought there would be far too much food but the pace was such that despite a tastings of a lot of different foods we never felt stuffed (nor deprived). Grazie mille Michael!

Daniel_T, Apr 2026
Plenty of different foods to enjoy from street foods to great pasta and eine Vinny our guide was very knowledgeable and made sure we had a great time

The Roman Food Tour is not to be missed! Best food tour & guide!

Stacy_S, Apr 2026
This was an amazing food experience! Our guide, Vincenzo, was the BEST! He was so knowledgeable and thoroughly explained all of the foods, oils, wines, etc. we were tasting. We went to 5 different locations and offered wine at each one. We were cancelled from another food tour because my husband has a shellfish allergy. They cancelled us the day before we arrived in Rome. I didn't think I'd find another tour with such short notice but found the Roman food tour. I was hoping it would be good. I have to say, all 3 of us in my family were super impressed and loved every aspect of it. There's no way the other tours are this good, diversified or exquisite. And I have to say again, Vincenzo took it to another level with his food and wine knowledge. I HIGHLY recommend this tour!
