- Please note: this is a private tour. The list of sites is a menu of options—not a fixed itinerary—and it isn’t possible to visit all of them on a 3-hour tour. At the start, your tour expert will discuss your interests and plan a realistic route. You’ll see as many sites as time allows.
- most tours operate with a six-seat golf cart—four seats face forward (including the driver’s position) and two seats face backward.
- Hotel pickup is offered only in the city center. Please check the hotel list or contact us if you’re unsure. If no pickup location is selected, the tour departs from the Rolling Rome office at Piazza del Gesù 47.
- Please note: this is a sightseeing tour and does not include entry to ticketed sites such as the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vatican Museums, or Pantheon. We’ll stop by these landmarks for exterior views and photos, but we will not go inside during the tour.
- The tour runs rain or shine. Our golf carts are equipped with rain covers for wet weather.
- For large groups, we can operate multiple golf carts—each with its own tour leader—and keep them coordinated and close together at each stop.
- No reconfirmation is required upon arrival. If you have any questions, please send us a message at the time of booking.
- All golf carts are street-legal and equipped with seat belts and side protection.
- We can accommodate a wheelchair for free only for bookings of up to three participants.
- For safety reasons, each golf cart can accommodate only one baby seat, which must be installed in the middle seat next to a parent.

Really got a feel for the entire city of Rome and helped us make decisions on what we wanted to see more of
This was my third trip to Rome and my mum's first. I wanted her to see as much as possible as we were only spending 2 whole days there and I saw this as an option. I cannot recommend this tour enough. We covered so much ground and saw so much! Our guide, Lorcan, was super friendly and so knowledgeable. He picked out the good things and also the things that might not be noticed by the standard tourist guide. My mum loved it and felt like she saw everything she wanted to. He negotiated busy, narrow roads like a pro, also navigating around local protests. Thank you Lorcan!
This was a great way to tour Rome at your pace. We went to all the major places and wanted a different experience. Our guide was awesome and was so knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and highly recommend it. Wish it was longer cause we had such a great time.
My husband and I were whisked around Rome in a sturdy golf cart; our charming driver parked in unusual spots. Every single one was a short walk to a major Rome landmark; we viewed them from above, from the side. The views were fantastic; our guide gave us a short talk on its significance. It was a pleasant and efficient 3-hour tour. I highly recomment this tour!
Guide studied History and knows a lot about the history of every spot. We learned more than we expected. Worth every single penny, if you are lucky to get this guide.

Nico was outstanding! He arrived on time, he took 5 minutes and he had a unique tour set up for us because we had done so many things already. We were able to see more on the outskirts of the city and then he dropped us right in front of our next adventure for the evening! Nico was informative and great fun! Unfortunately there were protests in Rome on the night of our tour. We were nervous about going out. Beatrice met us at our hotel and told us that she wanted us to feel safe and comfortable. She said we could call the company to discuss canceling and a possible refund if we wanted since this was an unusual situation. We decided to proceed with the tour with an agreement that we would go to safe areas and return home if we ever felt unsafe. The tour turned out to be great. She brought us to some wonderful areas of the city. It was beautiful, and we got to learn interesting facts and ask more questions. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. I really wish we could have her show us around for a full day, but I don’t think that was within our budget even if it is an option. So much nicer to have a guide just for us than in a big group, and we never would have gone to most of these parts of the city if we didn’t take this tour. The only downside at all were the protests. Most people probably won’t encounter that I figure, so I recommend this. If you get Beatrice as a guide I think you’ll enjoy it.
Very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. The experience was amazing. Even on a 3 hour tour, received a very good overview of Rome.
Lena picked us up at our hotel for a wonderful custom excursion. I had made a screenshot of all the sights on the long tour. Knowing that the evening tour was shorter, I put a star by those most important to us. She quickly planned a route to see those that were open or well-lit.
The electric golf cart quietly but quickly brought us to a bridge near the Colosseum, for fantastic pictures. Off we went to The Wedding Cake, Basilica of St. Agnes, the Turtle Fountain, Circus Maximus, the Spanish Steps, and the Jewish quarter.
Lena provided history, culture, and information about everyday life. She was an expert driver in the traffic and shared that the night tours covered so much more than the crowded daytime streets.
We went down tiny alleys and into areas for a broad scenic overview that was jaw-dropping. We thoroughly enjoyed Lena, the city of Rome, and the chance to customize this private tour.
