Amazing tour across mystical Sintra

Andre is an amazing guide! We were 7 people in our very manageable 5-6h tour and it was an awesome experience. Even during the ride (which took about 45min to Sintra; compared to 2 hours on the public trains and busses it was really quick) he tells stories about portuguese monarchy along with some tidbits we saw on the way. In and around Sintra he's the kind of guide who combines letting the group roam around on their own with tips about shops and food and some fun facts alltogether which makes for a very interesting and never-boring tour! You can really tell that he has lots of knowledge of sintran and generally portuguese history. With all that knowledge, the beautiful scenery and some mystical and mythical locations Andre directs you through in this tour as if it was a real fairytale! And don't worry about the weather conditions too much, sneakers and a raincoat was enough for us and Andre has umbrellas for everybody. On our day it was sometimes raining but that only added to the mystical nature of the palaces and landscapes!

He was energetic, fun, and taught us a tremendous amount of history and interesting facts about Sintra. This tour was very organized and accommodating, and Mauro met each guest request with flexibility and eagerness to please. The historical itinerary on this trip was perfect. Truly a FULL day tour.

This tour is definitely worth the time. Be prepared for a long day of over 12 hrs. Our primary guide "John" was a wealth of historical information, of both Portugal in general, and the specific sites we visited. As our group was on the larger size, for Porto we were split into two. We had the delightful Maria as our guide. She brought such enthusiasm to the city she calls home. Tour was well organized. The bus was modern, clean and comfortable with USB sockets for charging your devices.

This was a small group tour, just 6 of us, which was exactly what we wanted. The guide Ocay and driver Onur were engaging and informative. We spent a lovey day touring and stopped long enough to have a bite to eat and have some wine, while others chose to roam around the village. Highly recommend this for your half-day to Sintra.

Great tour at multiple locations!

This was a very nice tour! Our guide was quite knowledgeable and navigated the streets and highways quite deftly and safely. Very comfortable and clean vehicle. Nazare and Obidos were our favorite stops, but all the stops contributed to a nice day. Just enough time at each one. Our lunch in Nazare (tour guide recommendation) was awesome! Would definitely recommend this one.

Perfect Day with Ania!

Arte and JP were AMAZING!! Safety first, so knowledgeable and the best hosts!! The wine glass was never empty. They had a great variety of wine, soft drinks and water. Gave us snacks, which we didn’t expect. Gave us some history and made us feel right at home. Layer up for the ride but they had blankets for us too. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing evening.

A day of learning!

We had an amazing time with Nuno because he knew the best way for us to have the best experience by taking it in the Back way Sintra We’d love the gardens and spent a little time in the castle, but really enjoyed our walk around the gardens, then he took us to a lovely café for some pastries that were local to Sintra and then on our way back we went to Peña, which was quite beautiful and he spoke of the history of Lisbon. I knew much about the surrounding area that made it very educational and wonderful experience. We strongly recommend this tour.
