Had a spectacular day...

Had a spectacular day exploring western Madeira with Jake! The stops were just amazing, the jeep ride was thrilling! Had a wonderful group to spend the day with so made it so fun. Loved seeing the stunning views from every angle, the diversity of scenery, from gorgeous coastines, to black rocks & beach to Fanal forest & breathtaking valleys. Really felt like we got to see so much of the island at a nice pace. Jake was a great driver & host of his island, made us all feel comfortable. Madeira is magical! A day to remember!

Best driver ever!

Omg LOVED this trip! Our guide, Graham, is the best! He is superior with his driving skills and we went on some amazing roads that definitely required top notch talent! We had so many adventures today and he treated us so well. This itinerary gives you the amazing highlights of the island, not to mention the great group we had. Well worth every penny.

It was an amazing...

It was an amazing experience and definitely one of the highlights of our Madeira trip. The activity was very well organised, and the staff were very friendly. I just have one suggestion. At the end, when the experts summarised the experience and talked about the animals we saw, it would have been great if they had used a microphone, as most of us could not hear what they were saying.

Fantastic Island Tour

Luís is an amazing tour guide! The trip around the Island was seamless and thoroughly enjoyable. He made extra stops for us to check out a rum factory and for lunch. He gave us a lovely picnic with local fares and water. His English was excellent and the history lessons were fantastic! Best tour ever! Highly recommend doing this!

Great value tour of the island

This was a great deal! If you don’t have a car and want to see more of the island, this is the way to go. We especially loved our guide - Paulo! He was so knowledgeable and really took the time to talk about the history and any other special tidbits about everything. This is how a guide should be. He really stood out in my opinion!

There is generous food on the tour, so have an appetite. Our guide, Anna, was excellent. She provided interesting cultural highlights alongwith a varied selection of Madrira food and drink. She was also able to provide some gluten-free pions for gluten intolerance. I would highly recommend the tour.

A amazing morning trip!

We had the most incredible trip with Luca & Manny onboard! Luca was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife of Madeira & Manny was a fantastic supporting host & camera man! We were lucky enough to follow a group of Fin Whales and we saw several blows. We also saw a dolphin, seal & jellyfish. We also stopped for a swim which was delightful. The boat was perfect for the small group of passengers and it was a very intimate trip. We thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend!! Thank you :)

Wet and windy but worth it

It was a great hike but conditions were less than perfect!! High winds, rain and fog! It was freezing and we were not prepared for the cold and wet! We didn’t do PR1 as it was too windy and we couldn’t see a thing but we took the extra time coming down PR3, which was pretty cool, great views when the cloud and fog cleared. But no one warned us about the 5 streams you need to walk through!! The cafe at the end was amazing - great food and comfy to rest! Amazing adventure! Also shoutout to Christiano, our driver, great guy! He said he’d done PR1 in worse weather haha!!

Great experience with an amazing guide

David was amazing and the tour itself was exactly what we wanted. We didn't get to see the sunrise due to weather conditions however David drove us to another spot below the clouds to watch it and then drove us back to the trail. Overall would recommend the experience to anyone thinking of booking
