Perfect day

A fantastic day with picturesque stops and viewpoints with time to walk around and get a feel for the place. There was plenty of time at Porto Moniz for lunch and a swim. Our guide ?Justino? had the right combination of humour, information adventure (emotion) and spontaneity. Unfortunately we couldnt visit Seixal beach due to a sudden rockfall and so he quickly changed our route and activities. Lots of thrilliing off road rides . I would certainly recommend this smaller group trip with a jeep to get off the beaten track and travel on routes you probably wouldnt venture along in a hire car. Unfortunately I had a personal problem on the morning of the trip but everyone on the team was very helpful and even checked in with me in the evening to see if everything had worked out. I would 100% recommend this tour and company. Unfortunately I cant add any photos as I forgot my phone!

A must do!!! We were all...

A must do!!! We were all skeptical we’d have a view because of the clouds/weather, but our driver got us up to the viewpoint safely and the view during the hike was PHENOMENAL! We were above the clouds and then came back to the viewpoint to watch the sunset over the clouds! Definitely a must do!

Graham (sorry if it’s Graeme) was awesome! Super knowledgeable, a 4x4 experience from SOUTH AFRICA in Madeira, as a Saffa I can tell you it’s and Experience. So worth it! Please do it! We had an awesome time it was fun and definitely an awesome way to experience the true, beautiful, wild and mad super changing climates of the island. I don’t think you get to know the island truly unless you do one of these trips. (I.e staying in your resort is just a shame) the only thing I will say is change the restaurant of choice please.. it doesn’t match the wow factor. That said, it was such a flippen awesome experience I cannot knock it any stars for restaurant vibes.. I’d recommended this strongly to anybody. Thanks Graham for a lekker, authentic and wild experience. Made our trip!

what I loved about this tour was the energy of the guides! And the animals ofc haha We did not see whales, but we saw different species of dophins very close to us. The captain Andre took us also to check the Garaju bay and did his best to make us see the dophins. The guide Francisca had a lovely energy! She gave us very interesting information about the animals and looked so passionated about the her work that was impossible to not transmit her happiness I would definitely come back!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Madeira! The half-day private island tour was the perfect way to experience so many of the island’s breathtaking viewpoints and beautiful landscapes without feeling rushed. Having a private tour made all the difference. We were able to explore at our own pace, spend extra time at the places we loved most, and enjoy a relaxed, stress-free day without being tied to a large group or strict schedule. Our guide, Luis, was fantastic. He was incredibly friendly, fun to talk to, and had an impressive knowledge of Madeira’s history, culture, and natural beauty. Every stop came with interesting stories and insights that made us appreciate the island even more. If you’re visiting Madeira and want an easy, enjoyable way to see the island while learning about its history and culture, I can’t recommend this tour enough. The scenery is spectacular, the experience is completely stress-free, and Luis made the day even more memorable. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Madeira!

A perfect day exploring Madeira with Miguel

We had an amazing day exploring the west of Madeira with Miguel! He was right on time, incredibly kind, funny, and an absolute gem. His knowledge of the island is truly impressive; he taught us so much about Madeira’s history, local traditions and beliefs, nature, and even how to tell the different types of eucalyptus apart! He took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure everyone was engaged. What we appreciated even more was that he slightly adapted the itinerary because we had already visited a couple of the planned stops. Instead of sticking rigidly to the schedule, he wanted to make sure we got the very best out of our day, which we really appreciated. Miguel made the whole experience fun, informative, and unforgettable. I 100% recommend this tour, and if I ever come back to Madeira, I will definitely book another day with him.
