BOOK THIS TOUR!! My sister and I had a couple of hours before we left Chicago and booked this walking donut tour. We had an absolute blast!! Jackson was a great tour guide. The donuts were absolutely delicious and plentiful. You won't go away hungry. The walking tour was insightful and interesting. One of our favorite adventures of the weekend.

Super great introduction to several amazing downtown bakeries. My favorite was the Tahitian vanilla donut at Firecakes, followed by the red velvet at Dan's. There were PLENTY of donuts and I left happy and fully sugared out. This covers a lot of over a mile of walking, FYI. And it ended exactly on time which I always appreciate.

Jackson, our tour guide, was very good. We also had a great group of tourists who interacted well together and with Jackson. Jackson gave us some great information about Chicago’s history, great places to go, answered any questions we had and added some humor along the way. The donuts were the obvious highlight of the tour. We had plenty of great tastes at each location. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to taste some great donuts while taking in some of the sights of the city.

This was a fun way to see some of the city and enjoy some donuts. We got a quarter of each kind of donut, and they were all quite tasty. My favorite was the churro donut from Firecakes. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Nick is an amazing tour guide. You can tell he loves his job and the donuts. Everything was great I would say maybe add less Churro or old fashioned type donuts. I think a bit more of the stuff you can’t find at Dunkin would put it over the top.. Again just my opinion. ;) But Nick deserves a raise he really had good humor and very great stories and advice about the city.

This was such a fun morning! Nick was engaging, funny and knowledgeable about the shops we visited and sites of downtown. We got to see several new parts of Chicago we hadn't seen yet, and sample some absolutely delicious donuts until we were completely stuffed - you won't go hungry on this tour and we even took some leftovers for the road! Great guide, very friendly and enthusiastic. Knew a lot of history and threw in a lot of humor. Very entertaining and well paced. All donuts were good - some were great! Only took us about 90 minutes.

Please note, each donut is cut into 1/4 and you have maybe 2 bites of 2 different donuts at each of the 4 locations. We have done these tours in other cities and you get a full donut at each location and options to try or sample another. The donuts were good but for the price you can certainly hit all 4 Stan’s, Firecakes, Donut Vault and Do Rites and enjoy more with maybe different flavors. Nothing personally against the tour just think at a price of nearly $70 a person providing a full donut and maybe a half of a different would make this tour more reasonable. Decent history given about the donuts and the shops. Thanks.

This is my favorite tour! I’ve booked it 3 times in the past year and brought new people. It’s always a hit and everyone’s favorite. Aside from the amazing Chicago doughnuts, you get a history of the shops and some of the local building’s you pass on the way. I particularly like that history is more personal and includes nuanced stories that you don’t hear on other tours. I’ve had the same guide all 3 times, Nick, and he is GREAT. He’s funny, personable and makes a point to talk with everyone in the group as we walk around. I highly recommend this tour.

The Donut Tour was amazing! All the donuts we tried were great, and they only gave us a quarter of a donut at each stop so we didn’t feel stuffed. Our tour guides, Izzie and Nick, were super excited about their jobs and offered a great experience. I highly recommend the donut tour if you want to learn a bit more about Chicago while also trying some yummy donuts!
