Perfect Sunset Sail
Every aspect of the experience, from beginning to end, was simply perfect! My wife and I took the sunset cruise to celebrate our 35th Anniversary. Captain Will was waiting for us at the gate when we arrived, helped us board, gave a quick tour and safety briefing and then we were off on a fantastic sail. The boat was in great shape, easy to move around on and had all the essentials with plenty of comfortable seating. Captain Will was an interesting, thoughtful, gracious and entertaining host and guide and shared his local knowledge to help us with the remainder of our visit. This was an outstanding experience for us as visitors to Charleston and, I expect, it would be for locals as well!

Must do!!
I was a little overwhelmed while planning the itinerary for a short trip to Charleston. There is so much to chose from and I wanted to get the most bang for my buck (and time). This tour had great reviews so I took a chance and it was well worth it. The captain, Luke, was so friendly and informative. The size of the boat was perfect. There were 3 other couples on board with us. We saw a lot of dolphins and the Morris Island Lighthouse. For Outer Banks fans, you'll see where a lot of scenes were filmed as well as John B's house. It was an absolutely perfect experience.

Fantastic sunset cruise...
Fantastic sunset cruise with Captain Will and his mates Sam and Sam. They gave us a great sail and tour of the Harbor. Will knows how to time the sale so that you are returning towards the harbor in time to capture the most beautiful sunset. The boat has spacious seating and is comfortable for wine and cheese to toast the sunset. A truly memorable evening in Charlestown!

A great afternoon sail
Captain Dan and his crew were first-rate. Charismatic, attentive and knowledgeable. The conditions were perfect and enough wind to go nicely along under full sails. We even saw a few pods of dolphins! It was a great trip, a lovely end to our trip and would highly recommend. Do note that you can purchase alcohol onboard but not carry your own on. 3 beers and 2 wines were $50+. So just be prepared for that expense.

Captain Rob and the Sunset Cruise
This cruise is a great way to see the habor and have so much fun. Our Captain was Hilarious and full of interesting information. The weather was overcast and windy, but in 30 minutes the waves settled and the wind died down. The Sunset came out and it was spectacular. The two hours went by too fast.

Lively natural sightseeing and workout
The experience was great. We stopped in Charleston for a cruise and were looking for something lively to do. This looked like a great experience for a fair price. We were running 10 minutes behind but the workers were extremely understanding and compassionate. They were kind enough to wait for us to get there before leaving. They teach you how to paddle, provide you with life jackets, and you set out on the waters. I would definitely recommend bringing your own bug spray since there were many gnats. We had a grand time with our guide and with the front desk staff after we waited for our ride share service. We even got to see a dog! Would definitely recommend them to a book with!

A birthday celebration event to remember...
My three sisters and I wanted to do something to see dolphins and this was the perfect experience! Captain Nick provided a clean and comfortable ride on calm waters, bright sunshine and warm weather. His knowledge of the area's natural and historical significance was the perfect backdrop to our cruise. I've already scheduled another cruise for new visitors, and I'm sure it will be a repeat experience. I highly recommend the Dolphin Adventure!

A most excellent adventure!!!
The boat was 38ft and spacious for us 4 adults. It appeared to be in very good shape The weather on 3/25/26 was chilly at about 65 degrees and partly cloudy but quite breezy making for a GREAT day for sailing!! The captain (Patrick) was most excellent and professional but very friendly and easy to talk to, and informative about the things we would see. The first mate (Bethany) was also excellent and accommodating and friendly as well. They seemed to work very well together. My wife and I were able to take advantage of the bean bag chairs up front which were VERY comfortable. If you’re considering a harbor sailing adventure then this boat is the one to get and if you’re lucky enough to get the crew we had then the excursion will definitely be a memorable one!!!

Fun family outing
Our family had a great time on this trip. We learned about the estuary, saw lots of dolphins, and found loads of cool seashells. Our 6 year old loved finding neat shells. It was a bit of a walk to get to the part with the best shells, but even our 3 year old managed it fine. Wish we'd had a little more time on the island but it was a great experience overall.

Captain Mike and Macey...
Captain Mike and Macey were the best. They took us around to all different spots in Charleston harbor and told us spooky ghost stories about each of the locations. They were fun, interactive, and they made sure everyone had a great time
I will definitely be looking into maceys book next!

Scenic, Peaceful, and Full of Surprise's
The water taxi ride was such a fun and relaxing way to explore the area! The crew made everything smooth and enjoyable, and the views from the water were absolutely beautiful. The highlight of the trip was spotting dolphins up close—it felt magical watching them swim alongside us in their natural habitat. It was the perfect mix of sightseeing and adventure, and I’d definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting. A must-do if you love the water and want a memorable way to enjoy the city!

Family Trip to Charleston
We had a wonderful morning sailing experience. Will and Sam were fantastic as the captain and crew of the Mystique - they made us feel welcome and comfortable, were so knowledgeable about the history of Charleston, made sure we saw several dolphins, and were just fun to visit with in general. They also went above and beyond, helping us get my son’s sweatshirt back that he left on the boat. We would highly recommend this experience for any group/age. It was a perfect morning!
