Horse got scared and reared up.

Aril was our driver, Moose was our horse.we were sitting in the front row.. everything was great and we were learning about Charleston and looking at beautiful homes. About 3/4 into the tour Moose stepped into a pot hole in the road. It scared him and his front legs went up I the air. His back leg kinda collapsed a his end was almost on the ground. In the mean time the rearing up made Carol loose her balance and she was falling. Carol kept her composer. She never let go of the reins or ever stopped talking softly to moose. My daughter caught Carol before she hit the floor. Moose did get himself up. His front legs never went down. I do not think the people behind us even knew what happened till Carol had to say something about why we had stopped. Carol waited till she and Moose calmed down, only a couple of minutes, she thanked my daughter for at hi g her and she kept talking softly to Moose. The pot hole was very small. My daughter and I drove back the next day to check the pot hole out. It was not much bigger than the horses hoof. My daughter never saw the pot whole. There was no way to avoid what happened. I was so glad we had a driver who could handle the situation as well as Adolf handled it. We went on and finished the tour. Emma Ponwe

Definitely take Adam's tour!!

Awesome tour with Adam. There is so much to learn about the haunted city of Charleston and Adam gave us a really great mix of history and ghost stories. He is very entertaining and made the whole walk a lot of fun. Also a little scary... but its very cool.

Unique Way to Experience Charleston at Night!

The tour was a highlight of our time in Charleston! Mike was incredibly knowledgeable, and his delivery made the tour so memorable. The tour covered many parts of downtown, and he used "cliffhangers" to keep us engaged as we moved from stop to stop. My friend and I needed a girl's weekend, and what better way to see Charleston than by taking a Ghost Tour. Our Tour Guide, Jim, was friendly and super informative. You can definitely that tell he loves what he does! Not only did we learn a lot about the city, but we had a great time. Ride and stories were great! Great touch in explanation of typical horse’s work schedule and life. We had one member in our group who thought it was animal cruelty, the explanation helped her understand. A must see in charkeston

What made this tour so amazing was our tour guide. It was like watching a scary movie. I would say this is a must see if you are in Charleston. The youngest one on the tour was probably 10 and the oldest early 60’s. Everyone enjoyed it and stayed close together in the dark 😂

Great to learn about the history of Charleston!

I really enjoyed the ghost tour! Our tour guide, Jerry, was a wonderful storyteller and so captivating. It was interesting learning about the history of ghost sightings in various landmarks around the tour. From learning about the first female serial killer to Edgar Allen Poe's connection to Charleston, it was fascinating. I bought the book Ghosts of Charleston following the tour to learn more. I'd recommend this tour to anyone visiting Charleston.

Ghost/ booze tour galore!

Where do I begin, her knowledge and enthusiasm of Charleston‘s ghost hauntings and bars were unbelievably in-depth and fun! She was into her character so much that our approximate 2 1/2 hour tour turned into a 3 1/2 hour tour! It was by far the most fun booze:/ghost tour I’ve ever been on!

Perfect Experience!

My husband and I did this walking tour and had the best time! The directions were perfect, be sure to pause it when the narrator says, “I’ll meet you there.” Then play it once you arrive at the location that way you don’t miss a thing. Honestly better than we expected. Well worth the money!

Great tour

Charleston provided a great backdrop for a ghost tour and Kevin, our guide, with lantern in hand, provided the vibe and the eerie stories, delivered perfectly. Graveyards from the 1700s with moss hanging from the trees, a house which once housed Blackbeard, and the site of local hangings were just a few of the stories we heard. My son and I really enjoyed it.
