A good immersive experience it to different polynesian cultures. We really enjoyed it. It's an hour drive from Waikiki, FYSA.

This Luau is one of two that we experienced during our trip. It checked all the boxes… food is good, entertainment and drinks were great.

A bit of a way to travel if you're staying in Honolulu, but worth it. Beautiful location, great hosts, fantastic mix of traditional dances and good food too. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent experience: worth every penny! The pride and hospitality from the family was infectious. We appreciated the entire experience from start to finish. Would absolutely recommend this luau over any of the resort ones. Authentic. Welcoming and family owned. 5 stars!

The entire cast/crew/staff are wonderful! So educational, so beautiful and all very friendly and welcoming! Best time I’ve ever had! Dinner was amazing, the shows were top tier!!
Ronald_R, May 2026
It was fun and the food was great. The storytelling was entertaining and the dancing exciting to watch.

This was not only a luau but also a cultural experience. The ticket also included entry to the botanical garden and waterfall. We had tickets for the 5:00 PM luau, giving us time to explore the gardens and waterfall before dinner and the start of the luau. I only wish we had gone even earlier. They also had a few demonstrations. Everyone was really friendly and the host was pretty funny. Everything and everyone was amazing, and so was the food. They shared a brief history about each dance and customs from the different Polynesian islands. It was definitely worth the drive to the North Shore from Waikiki.

Our family genuinely cherished the wonderful experience at the Toa Luau. The food was really delicious, and the performances were unlike anything we've ever seen. We deeply appreciated the opportunity to learn about different cultures and truly enjoyed the engaging atmosphere. Would recommend this event to everyone!

Snorkeling was amazing! Clear water, lots of turtles and fish. Great crew - Holly, Shannon, Krash, and of course Sushi!

This was the highlight of the trip! It is very interactive and informative! The host keeps you engaged the entire time while giving you background on the culture. It was so much fun and the food was delicious! Would absolutely do it again!

What an experience! From start to finish it was very exciting.
Food was good and the show was amazing. MC was fantastic with sharing knowledge of the Polynesian culture to adding tons of humor as well.
The ending with fire was amazing! The young man that is just a teenager is something special already at his age. Would love to come back in a few years to see what he is able to do.
All were hard workers throughout the experience to make sure everyone was taken care of and all had a good time!
I would recommend this show 100 times over!!

An amazing experience. All the staff were great, especially to my two boys. Host was one of the best I've seen and the presentations were authentic. Best venue as well.
Nicole_A, Apr 2026
This was unlike any other luau I’ve been to. The crew had this rapport with each other and they were all effortlessly charismatic. I love how they included multiple dances from each culture along with facts and explanations of some of the dances/words. The host had us laughing all night and there was no part where we were bored. The food was also fantastic, but would definitely come again and recommend to everyone!

Best luau EVER. You can feel their passion. A smile will be glued to your face from start to finish. All the performers had such charisma, and the host was the host with the most! The little baby 13 year old was a wonder! 10/10 would recommend and when we visit O’ahu again, will be back!!! Also the food was AMAZING. Best part of our Hawaii trip was this luau, thank you so much cousins!!

We had an absolutely incredible experience at Toa Luau! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations.
The food was incredibly flavorful and authentic, and the show was truly the highlight of the evening. It was not only entertaining, but genuinely funny and engaging, with a level of inclusivity that made everyone feel like part of the experience. The storytelling was outstanding—beautifully weaving together the history and culture of the Polynesian islands in a way that was both educational and captivating.
You can truly feel the passion and pride in every performance. We’re giving this a 10/10 and will absolutely be back the next time we’re on Oahu. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable cultural experience!

Toa Luau delivered one of the most memorable experiences I’ve ever had in Hawaii. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like honored guests rather than just visitors. The setting is stunning—lush, intimate, and surrounded by the natural beauty of Waimea Valley, which adds so much authenticity and warmth to the evening.
The cultural demonstrations were genuinely fascinating, not rushed or touristy. You can tell the performers care deeply about sharing their heritage. The food was incredible too—fresh, flavorful, and served with the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like you’re part of the family.
The show itself was the highlight. The energy, the storytelling, the music, the fire dancing—every moment was captivating. It felt personal, heartfelt, and truly special.
If you’re looking for a luau that’s more than just a show—something meaningful, beautifully done, and full of aloha—Toa Luau is the one. Worth every penny and then some. I’d go again in a heartbeat.

Toa Luau was great! There was some construction on the way there which made us a little late, but we didn't miss much. The Toa Luau is in Weimea valley. The food was delicious and the show was great! They seemed to enjoy what they were doing. The only negative was we werent exactly sure where to go, so maybe some bigger signs for the Luau. However, if you don't get to check out the grounds before the Luau. GO BACK!! You can use your ticket to go back during that week. It is so beautiful and they filmed some movies and shows there! You can also swim in the waterfall. It is a hike, so if you want to swim and be fresh and clean for the Luau do it on a different day!! I think it was my favorite part of our family trip!
Rachel_M, Apr 2026
The luau was well worth the money, the food was amazing and show was awesome. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to go to a luau.
Travis_W, Apr 2026

This luau was a perfect addition to our short stay in Oahu before getting on a cruise. We enjoyed the authentic experience from the food to the culture to the language to the dancing. Fire spinning was the ultimate end of the show.
Allison_K, Apr 2026
Beautiful lua experience! The Botanical garden setting made the experience extra special. The food and overall vibes were on point. My husband and I came for our anniversary and they even gave us special lei to commemorate it. Highly recommend!
