Very little history was shared, a lot of looking at the trees along the track, music playing in a loop.
It was, however, very comfortable and relaxing as there was nothing to see or hear that was interesting.

I was very disappointed with the trip. I came all the way from New Jersey spent four hours getting there and the train ride was an hour and a half, and we only went 5 miles and there was nothing to say I saw a residential houses and a bunch of leaves in the woods and a few farms and a few cannons. It was really a waste of my time energy and money. It wasn’t a good train ride at all very very disappointing

The train was clean and beautiful. The ride was smooth and leisurely. However there wasn’t much to see. Not much inaction from the guide. He was nice however.

Staff was very friendly, kind and helpful. Interior of the train was excellent. Seats were very comfortable. I do wish that the recorded guide had said something about not tallking, or at least talking in a low voice. It was very annoying the family in back of us that were talking very loudly during the entire trip. It was very difficult to hear the voice recording. I understand you do not want to irritate your customers, but they were aggravating us. I will however definitely recommend your tour.

Good on trains part but the other people on ride between the screaming baby, which the employee tried to calm right away, and the guy behind us was so loud and annoying. We couldn’t even hear what was being said over the speaker.

The A/C was on full blast despite it being in the 70's outside. It felt like being in a refrigerator the whole ride. Also, there wasn't much to see.

Nice out and back 90 minute train ride. Air conditioning was very welcome on a summer day. You get a brochure with information about some of the things you can see. There is also a recording with lots of info and fun facts.
You learn about the town, trains, people who visited, people who served. We highly recommend this train ride.

The train ride itself was nice but was expecting more from the scenery. Most of what we rode past was wooded areas. Would have liked to see more of the battlefield areas.

Horrible sat on train forever and then we were told train was broken down and we were not going anywhere. They were shutting the train down for the day and that they would refund us within 24 hours. We went back 2 hours later and they were loading the train with others! Imagine are surprise of disgust!! No refund yet and pissed as hell that you would cancel the first trip but took your second group out! That's totally bs.

This was an easy, laid back, slow train ride. The seats were very comfortable. The air conditioner is in the back of each car, so the further back you are, the colder it is. This is good to know so you can pick your seat based on your comfort level. Motion sickness was not an issue with anyone in our group. We just had those prone to it face front during the ride.

We didn't have and ID number on our tickets printed from on line purchase when loading. So the guides had to improvise.

Don’t use Viator. They never sent my tickets and it was a hassle proving I paid for the trip.
Train ride was slow, scenic, informative but a little boring.

The train was clean and comfortable and very roomy. The staff was friendly and helpful and the price was reasonable. If you just want to ride on a train it was pleasant. I thought it was a little boring. I expected to see a lot of history and memorials or whatever. It was mainly forest, farm fields and nice homes. The college it passed was the highlight for me. Beautiful older campus. They did narrate and talk about a lot of historical events and people. I personally would have rather driven to the memorial cemetery where Lincoln gave the Gettysburg address. We drove by but didn’t have time to walk through it. It looked really interesting.
