The tour was absolutely awesome. Our tour guide and driver were each very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour was prompt and timely at each stop. Reserving, getting confirmation, checking in were all very easy and straight forward. I would definitely this recommend these guys for anyone interested in a tour. Definitely worth my drive from D.C. (2 hours each way).

exceptional value, big breakfast of waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, fruit, cereal, breads, juices. Nice rooms, clean and no musty smells. beds were fabulous. staff went above and beyond to accomodate. definitely recommend 10/10

They do take bathroom break. The guide Jesse was knowledgeable and and kept our interest. There is a lot to take in but this seems the most efficient. We had our 12 yr old grandson, he seemed to enjoy it. Especially when we could get out at the battle site.

The experience was enjoyable and it was a great visual reference of how big Gettysburg is. And how big the battlefields are and what it alol encompasses in those areas. The audio tour by the Guide itself was a little bit tough to follow and to understand. As someone who is proficient in history and understands a lot about the battle. There was a way too much detail for the average person coming to visit Gettysburg about battles and different people! However there were some cool fact sprinkled in and it was nice to get a sense of what the monuments meant or what the statues were about. I highly recommend this in tour it’s a a good starter experience for your first time!

The experience depends on the tour guide. I took the tour last year; that guide was concise and informative which led to me wanting to go again. The guide this was dramatical and way too wordy. He talked nonstop for the duration and didn't stop long enough to let you to digest what had actually happened during the battle. So the guide is the secret.

I am so sorry that your experience was not what you expected. You are correct in the fact that it totally depends on the guide and his presentation as to whether you like the tour or not. The guide you had on this tour is very passionate about the battle and what happened here in Gettysburg. He believes that he has to get a lot of information out to the visitors, but there is a limited amount of time to do it in. Hopefully if you come back o visit us again, we can have you on a bus with a different guide.

Boring. The man talked ao much and ao loud I completely tuned him out. I was disappointed we couldn't get out at the stops for photos. I will never do a bus tour again. Half the people on the bus were on their phones or sleeping. The driver was going way to fast to actually see anything. Terrible experience and waste of money

We use different guides all the time, so maybe the next visit will be with a guide that will present it in amore information way that you will enjoy.

Tour was not an informational tour it was more of story from start to finish of the entire battle. The gentleman giving the tour clearly was very passionate about the story of the battle however it was very overwhelming. On top of that when we arrived on the bus there were only single seats left and we were traveling with two small children. I was told to have my kids sit in the single seats, with strangers. Keep in mind the empty seats were not even remotely close to one another. After paying for their seats I asked if I could just keep them on my lap as I wasn’t comfortable leaving them unattended with a stranger. Overall, will not be taking another “guided tour” again. Be aware this is more of a guided story for two straight hours.

I am sorry that you had a bad experience upon arriving for your tour. When the reservations are made it is clearly stated that you should arrive 30 minutes prior your tours departure. The bus then boards 15 minutes before starting time. As for the children being let by a stranger on the bus I totally understand, but for safety purposes, everyone on the bus must be in a seat. When it comes to the tour content, we contract with guides that have been licensed by the National park service to give a tour of the battlefield, and each guide presents their tour in their own way considering there is approximately 6000 acres of Battlefield here and the Battle last three days. Two hours only gives you a general overview of the three-day battle here. I hope you will visit Gettysburg again and let us see whether we can make you next experience a better one.

Excellent history of the events of July 1, 2, 3 and 3 during the Civil War. The details and stories of local citizens and generals brought the experience to life. Highly recommend this tour as history refresher.

Brilliant and Knowledgeable Guide but overwhelms his audience with information

I have never written a bad review and take no pleasure and writing this one. However, I believe the management of the tour company know the individual I will describe but choose not to deal with problem because the tour guide is brilliant and likable but has horrible presentation skills. I came with an excitement and desire to learn about Gettysburg. However, after 30 minutes of a 2-hour tour I was worn out trying to follow what the tour guide was saying. He did not take a breath for 30 minutes. It was evident that he was a subject matter expert and everyone is impressed by the information he has accumulated. He speaks very fast but the most difficult aspect is that he doesn't pause for 15 to 30 minutes during his presentation. He makes it very difficult to retain what he is saying because it is like he is speed talking a script he wrote. When he finally pauses to ask for questions no one asks a question because everyone is overwhelmed. I cannot recommend this tour with this guide. I am not suggesting that all the tour guides for Gettysburg are the same way. I hope my review causes the management to deal with the individual I am describing so others don't have to sit through his voluminous presentations.

The guides are very passionate about the information they are presenting and try to give you the most information that they can. The battlefield covers approximately 6000 acres and cannot be covered in two hours. I hope you will take another battlefield tour in the future and maybe it will meet your expectations.
