The tour guide was Phil. I have been on this tour 4 previous times. Phil was by far the best and knowledgeable. Loved every second of the tour.

The experience depends on the tour guide. I took the tour last year; that guide was concise and informative which led to me wanting to go again. The guide this was dramatical and way too wordy. He talked nonstop for the duration and didn't stop long enough to let you to digest what had actually happened during the battle. So the guide is the secret.

Boring. The man talked ao much and ao loud I completely tuned him out. I was disappointed we couldn't get out at the stops for photos. I will never do a bus tour again. Half the people on the bus were on their phones or sleeping. The driver was going way to fast to actually see anything. Terrible experience and waste of money

exceptional value, big breakfast of waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, fruit, cereal, breads, juices. Nice rooms, clean and no musty smells. beds were fabulous. staff went above and beyond to accomodate. definitely recommend 10/10

This was a two hour bus tour. We stopped a couple times to look at the monuments and one was a bathroom break. The narrator was very knowledgeable.

Tour was not an informational tour it was more of story from start to finish of the entire battle. The gentleman giving the tour clearly was very passionate about the story of the battle however it was very overwhelming. On top of that when we arrived on the bus there were only single seats left and we were traveling with two small children. I was told to have my kids sit in the single seats, with strangers. Keep in mind the empty seats were not even remotely close to one another. After paying for their seats I asked if I could just keep them on my lap as I wasn’t comfortable leaving them unattended with a stranger. Overall, will not be taking another “guided tour” again. Be aware this is more of a guided story for two straight hours.

I am sorry that you had a bad experience upon arriving for your tour. When the reservations are made it is clearly stated that you should arrive 30 minutes prior your tours departure. The bus then boards 15 minutes before starting time. As for the children being let by a stranger on the bus I totally understand, but for safety purposes, everyone on the bus must be in a seat. When it comes to the tour content, we contract with guides that have been licensed by the National park service to give a tour of the battlefield, and each guide presents their tour in their own way considering there is approximately 6000 acres of Battlefield here and the Battle last three days. Two hours only gives you a general overview of the three-day battle here. I hope you will visit Gettysburg again and let us see whether we can make you next experience a better one.

Excellent history of the events of July 1, 2, 3 and 3 during the Civil War. The details and stories of local citizens and generals brought the experience to life. Highly recommend this tour as history refresher.

As I was already Knowledgeable about this battlefield I took the tour on a recommendation from a friend. It was as expected, and the tour guide knowledgeable. I Recommended for all visitors. Duration about right at 2 hours.

I have never written a bad review and take no pleasure and writing this one. However, I believe the management of the tour company know the individual I will describe but choose not to deal with problem because the tour guide is brilliant and likable but has horrible presentation skills.
I came with an excitement and desire to learn about Gettysburg. However, after 30 minutes of a 2-hour tour I was worn out trying to follow what the tour guide was saying. He did not take a breath for 30 minutes. It was evident that he was a subject matter expert and everyone is impressed by the information he has accumulated. He speaks very fast but the most difficult aspect is that he doesn't pause for 15 to 30 minutes during his presentation. He makes it very difficult to retain what he is saying because it is like he is speed talking a script he wrote. When he finally pauses to ask for questions no one asks a question because everyone is overwhelmed.
I cannot recommend this tour with this guide. I am not suggesting that all the tour guides for Gettysburg are the same way. I hope my review causes the management to deal with the individual I am describing so others don't have to sit through his voluminous presentations.

The guides are very passionate about the information they are presenting and try to give you the most information that they can. Please come again and take the tour with a different guide and hopefully your expectations will be met.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and interacted well with the guests. He was open to answering questions. I definitely recommend seeing the battleground on your own or with a tour guide in your car so that you can take more time and learn more details.

I am so sorry that the tour didn't meet your expectations. A two-hour tour of the Battlefield is mainly a general overview of the Battle, since the battle last three days. The battlefield covers approximately 6000 acres and cannot be covered in two hours. I hope you will take another battlefield tour in the future and maybe it will meet your expectations.

Very informative. Gives a nice overview of the Battlefield and its history. The guide was knowledgeable and pleasant. Learned a few new things about the history that I didn't know before. Also, it was a beautiful day and Gettysburg is magnificent under those conditions.

This was the highlight of our trip! Our tour guide was absolutely amazing! His amount of knowledge and energy that he brought to the story, made you feel excited to hear what was going to happen next. We had an excellent experience on the 2-Hour Gettysburg Battlefield Guided History Bus Tour. Our National Park Guide, John, was outstanding — extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the history of the battle. He explained the key events, strategies, and significance of the different locations in a way that made the battlefield come alive. His storytelling and historical insight gave us a much deeper appreciation for Battle of Gettysburg and its importance in American history.
The driver also did an excellent job navigating the narrow roads and tight turns throughout Gettysburg National Military Park. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time, and everything was handled professionally.
This tour was very well organized, informative, and worth every minute. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Gettysburg and wanting a meaningful understanding of the battlefield and the events that took place there.
