A little disappointed but enjoyed our tour

Boos and Booze walking tour of several downtown Gettysburg historical places with the tour guide discribing historical incidents at each place and stories of tragedies that happened there with stories of ghostly sightings from people who witnessed it. We were supposed to stop at various haunted bars on the tour to enjoy a drink however, this was our tour guides first tour. She was very nice and informative but was very nervous which made our tour run late so we only got to one bar and rushed towards the end of the tour. We met a lot of very nice people on our tour. We felt that we didn't get our money's worth (hence the name Boos and Booze) out of the tour but I feel that when this tour guide gets a little more experience, the tour would run as expected with no problems.

We’ve been on ghost tours before and liked that this includes visiting a few pubs in between the certified ghost stories. We had a small group of 6 with a great guide, whom I’m sad to say I forgot his name. He has a history degree was knowledgeable about his subject. We enjoyed a beverage at the meeting point, O’Rourkes, and Gettysburg Eddies. The other place was closed that day. We made a stop at Dobbins and were able to explore two upper areas that were very interesting. In between these visits we heard many ghost stories related to our stops and surrounding areas. We never felt rushed and enjoyed sharing our own supernatural experiences.

The guide was very knowledgeable about Gettysburg history making the tour enjoyable. We also had fun stopping for a few drinks.

It was over booked. So you had to pick history or haunted. We did history because what we really wanted was too crowded. First stop...winery... I'm allergic to wine. 2nd stop... Jennie Wade house....no pub and we had already been there. At that point we just left. Big waste of money.

Richard was our guide and he shared they usually only hit 2 to 3 taverns during a 2 hour tour. He shared a lot of interesting history that we enjoyed. It was not as spooky as we anticipated but still fun.
