We are located at 5880 Airport Industrial Rd, Fairbanks, AK 99709. Follow Airport Industrial Rd, and take a right onto trailbreaker Trail. Once you hit the clearing, follow the sledge dog rides sign, to the left and park in front of our winter tour office.

Amazing experience! Katrina was my tour guide and was super passionate and friendly. The dogs were very adorable and hardworking! The ride through the snow pulled by the dogs was truly a unique experience. Highly recommend this tour!

This was a perfect experience. It was 30 minutes which was just enough for a sample without getting cold. If you don't have your own gear, they have gear there to outfit you for your ride. Our musher, Luther, was very informative and friendly. If we were here longer we probably would have repeated the experience.

This was our fourth time to Trail Breaker Kennel. We bring family or friends here when they come to Fairbanks to visit. There are so many options, we’ve tried many of them, Trail Breaker is the only one we return to. Absolutely our favorite brand place. You won’t be disappointed. The people are amazing. The scenery is incredible. The location is easy and convenient to Fairbanks. The experience is worth every penny. Book it.

Fun exhilarating informative experience with musher and we got to engage with the dogs! 30 min. ride is perfect in snowy winter weather and they have extra winter gear if you need to borrow at no extra cost! Would recommend! Free refreshments after your ride to warm u up!

This was our first time dog sledding. We found this excursion last minute and I’m convinced we couldn’t have done it with anyone better. 30 minutes was perfect because it was chilly, we wouldn’t have wanted to go any longer. We were absolutely stunned at how beautiful the trail/scenery were. The dogs were so friendly! Truly, we won’t forget it!

Definitely a must do. The ride is short but that’s good if it’s very cold. The service was great and it’s conveniently located in / near town. Highly recommend this even if it’s a short tour. It worked perfect for my schedule!

Had a great time the dogs were so energetic and happy to be there they let us pet them they were so cute and there was coffee hot cocoa water they were super nice and gave us gloves and anything we needed to stay warm while dog sledding

They are super well organized and friendly. They help outfit you with more layers (trust me you need it) and you can grab a hot beverage while waiting for your turn (or after). The dogs are absolutely adorable and eager to just get out there! The trail is just about right sized for a casual tour. The musher was very friendly, gave a lot of information on how they train the dogs, how the races happen etc.. was delightful to learn more about the mushing culture.

I had an amazing dog sledding experience! The dogs were very well trained and clearly loved what they were doing, which made the ride smooth and enjoyable. Check-in was quick and the facilities were spotless — everything felt clean and organized. The staff were also very thoughtful and provided gloves and extra clothing if you weren’t dressed warmly enough. They even helped take photos for you along the way, so you can fully enjoy the ride without worrying about capturing the moment yourself. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

Amazing experience from start to finish. The place was warm and cozy, which was perfect after being out in the cold. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they even served us warm cookies straight from the oven such a thoughtful touch! The sled dog ride itself was beautiful and well organized, and you can tell they truly care about the dogs. I really enjoyed the experience and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fairbanks.

I had a great time at the Trail Breaker Kennel. They provide you with the necessary equipment for the mushing and the dogs are adorable. Make sure to hold on tight to the sleigh, specially if you are standing up.

It is about 15 minutes only which was a little disappointing but the guide and the rest of their staff provided excellent customer service

The Sampler tour includes a 2mi ride which takes approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on the trail conditions and the speed of the team of Alaskan Huskies in front of the sled. We are so glad you enjoyed the experience and the customer service while visiting.

We loved our 2-mile dog sled run with Josi and 8 of her atheletic dogs! We were whisked down the snowy path fueled by her amazing canine pack and loved hearing stories from her about her 2024 Iditarod race where she won the Rookie of the race award running with 5 of the same dogs that were pulling our sled that day! We took a short break at the half-way point on our ride and switched places in the sled so we both had a chance to be in the front as well as the back. We had a lot of fun and loved seeing the dogs in action doing what they love while we also enjoyed the beautiful snowy scenery!

At our tour office, we have extra gear (jackets, thermal pants, neck gaiters, boots and gloves/hats) as well as complimentary warm drinks to help with the staying warm during, and after, the sled ride :)
