Prince was amazing. He knows so much about the history of Alaska. We didn’t get to see any wildlife but we learned so much. He’s a very informative and fun tour guide

We had the best time. We learnt so much about Anchorage and Alaska and the trolley was fun to ride in.

Ian was our tour guide and he was fun and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend. We saw a moose !

Wonderful experience! Our tour guide Prince was very kind, and on a cooler day, the trolley was nice and warm. He took lots of our family pictures for us, as well! The meeting point on Viator is incorrect, however! So be sure to call or message in advance, or walk down a different street to find a big red trolley. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to get a native’s glimpse into Anchorage!

Excellent tour guide was knowledgeable about the area and the Anchorage history. He made the tour worth while and kept up a running commentary on everything we were seeing

Prince was a super great tour guide and driver for us. He’ll also reroute the tour if wildlife is stirring out your windows, as long as it doesn’t mean anyone is late for any activities or events happening after the tour. Make sure you bring cash to tip him!

Prince did an amazing job! He made us laugh and kept us toasty in the cold :) he gave us the perfect amount of space to explore on our own and was a wealth of knowledge!

Cool tour. I liked the relaxed approach and the selection of sights to visit. Our guide, Prince, was great.

We had to miss this due to a scheduling conflict but they refunded our cost. We really appreciate this, since these things sometimes happen. We have done a ton of tours through Viator so we appreciate some consideration when needed..

Prince was a great Trolley host! We loved hearing about local Anchorage history, getting out and taking pictures of the views, and looking for moose!
Alexis_P, Oct 2025
Great tour! Ian was super fun and informative. Bummed there were no moose out...Ian tried but the moose were not cooperating.

It is a great way to see and hear about Anchorage sights without a car. Prince was a great guide- warm and engaging.

Guide was fine but we saw more on a municipal bus later on. Good to hear some local history but certainly not one of our better tours and we have been on hundreds in our long experience. First stop was a souvenir shop with a cooking knife display which cost a fortune. (No doubt a little backhander for the guide for any sales). Usual spiel. Second stop an old railway wagon, then the top of a house buried in the ground, and a park where there is a crack from the 1960s earthquake (there is actually nothing to see), then a mural on the side of a school, a drive through the seaplane airport to see a plane taking off woo hoo and lastly a parking lot with a view of the bay and industrial harbour. Very disappointed.

We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience with us didn’t meet your expectations, though we’re glad to know you found your guide to be good. We always appreciate when guests share their honest impressions—it helps us continue improving every season.
While our tour is designed to highlight Anchorage’s history and character through a mix of storytelling and local landmarks, we understand that what feels meaningful to one traveler might not resonate the same way with another, especially for those who have been on many tours around the world.
We’d also like to assure you that our guides do not receive any form of commission or incentive from the local businesses we visit. Stops like the Ulu Factory are included because they’re a part of Anchorage’s cultural story—showcasing how traditional tools are made and sharing the local craftsmanship that defines our community.
We're sorry that our tour wasn’t what you’d hoped for, and we sincerely appreciate you giving us the opportunity to share a bit of Anchorage with you.

We had a very good tour of Anchorage. We learned a lot about Anchorage. We had a very good guide. The Ulu factory was interesting, Earthquake park showed the interesting fault line. Loved watching the float plane seaport.

Its a great trip with a little of everything included about the area. Gives you the chance to venture outside of downtown shopping area.

A very fun and informative way to get a nice overview of Anchorage in 90 minutes. Be sure to ask for Ace; he was our tour guide/trolley driver and along with his in-depth knowledge, his wit and humor and interaction with the crowd made the tour memorable. The trolley was clean and the ride was comfortable. My wife and I highly recommend this tour for anyone in Anchorage for the first time.

Prince was a great guide, very personable and helpful young man. Tour did not hit as many Anchorage highlights as I would have expected, but where we did stop was fine.
Michael_G, Sept 2025
Good information throughout the tour. Prince was a great host. It was a beautiful sunny day and warm no jacket needed.

Our guide was knowledgeable with very interesting stories to tell and make sure that we saw a moose and we did. Thank you for the good experience and the good stories.
Benjamin_N, Sept 2025
Besides the Ulu factory it was a good tour. The Ulu factory was not worth the time and we could rather have gone somewhere else in that time or walked around together a bit more. To have a overview of Anchorage it's a good tour.
Mary_W, Sept 2025
It was okay. Not what I expected. It seems like it more targeted for seniors. The bright side is the tour guide had a great sense of humor and very knowledgeable about anchorage. I really enjoy hearing the story about earthquake park. Fascinating!
