The Narrows Hike is one of three bucket list hikes in Zion, and the only one that doesn't require a permit unless you plan to camp miles upriver. The slot canyon is deep and very dramatic with spectacular and sometimes surprising views the entire way. The dry trail in and out is flat, and paved but astonishingly beautiful. In addition, wading in the water provides a low impact core workout. At one point along the way there is a giant boulder in the river that is perfect for posed picture taking, there are warm-water springs all along the way, tiny birds that walk underwater, hundreds of trees damaged by rockfall, the world's tiniest snail, and water seeping out of solid rock. This is truly a marvelous hike with spectacular scenery and many educational opportunities.

A truly memorable experience!

We had a truly memorable time with our guide, Athena. It was such an awesome ride into the park, all we had to do was follow Athena and listen to her point out certain sites, wildlife and fun facts about the park. About 1.5 hrs into our ride, heavy rain drenched us all but we laughed it out and took shelter at the lodge while their driver picked us up. While our ride was cut short, me and the kids will never forget our unique ebike experience at Zion. Thank you!!

Tim was an amazing guide....

Tim was an amazing guide. We genuinely enjoyed our time riding. I would mention that this ride is not into Zion Park however, it does go to a really cool slot canyon. I was surprised to have walked into the canyon rather than ride but it was really cool. In total, the hour ride ended up being closer to a 40 minute ride and a 15 minute walk halfway through but a great experience! Highly recommend this company.

This was so much fun! I...

This was so much fun! I was a little leery because I'm 72 and had never ridden in what we used to call a 'dune buggy'. I was afraid the ride would be really rough. We started out on a well established road/trail of sand. Our driver Brent was an expert in maneuvering the vehicle thru the curves and hills at a speed that smoothed everything out. Our first stop took us to the top of a dune where we could slide down on a special board. After taking some pictures of this beautiful area we headed to the Red Canyon. This slot canyon was amazing and held lots of secrets that Brent shared with us. Overall, it was a wonderful tour of the area, thanks to Brent and his expertise and knowledge. It just proves you're never to old to try something new!

Moises was and is great!

Such a beautiful place! It isn’t easy walking through the river because of the rocks under the water you can’t see, but the views are very rewarding. Moises was very knowledgeable, took a lot of pictures for us and our family. He was great with our kids and was super personable. Food was delicious!

We had an amazing ATV...

We had an amazing ATV tour with Brent at Sand Hollow! Our group had 10 people, including 4 kids, and he did an incredible job tailoring the experience so everyone had a great time. The dads got to tackle some challenging rock climbs that were exciting and unforgettable, while the moms and kids enjoyed riding the dunes and easier trails that were just as fun without being intimidating. Brent struck the perfect balance, making sure everyone in our group was engaged and having a blast. He also built in breaks, kept us supplied with lots of ice-cold water, and made safety a priority. Before we started, he explained everything clearly, making everyone feel comfortable and confident, regardless of experience level. Brent is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely wants everyone to have an unforgettable adventure. If you’re looking for an ATV tour that can be customized for families or mixed-experience groups, this is the one to book. We would absolutely do it again!

Our Favorite part of the trip!

An amazing morning for us, I wouldn’t leave the Zion Area without this experience!! They ride, the sandbars and the views were one of a kind. Brent was helpful and knowledgeable of all the things. Wyatt was a great guide on our tour! And Wyatt and the young lady working the front desk of phones were VERY accommodating to us! We were driving in from Page, AZ and change in the time zone totally messed up our phone and time, we were late by 30 minutes but they called and assured us that there would accommodate us. There were no issues at all, we were so grateful!

UTV stargazing tour with Melvin

My family and I (6 adults and 2 teenagers) took the UTV stargazing tour with Melvin. He was such a great tour guide and provided clear instructions on how to maneuver our UTVs. He took us out for over 2 hours stopping to watch the sunset and the moon rise and ending with star gazing before heading back to Mad Moose. Some of our party were nervous initially but after a bit became confident with Melvin’s guidance. I would highly recommend bringing face coverings or purchasing one from the shop, it will make the experience much more enjoyable.

Definitely one of the best activities I've done in the Greater Zion area. I was traveling solo and don't drive, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but the entire experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. A special shoutout to Melvin, who was an amazing guide. Slots That Pay!

We didn’t know what to expect with our adventure as we seemed to be outside of Zion in this quaint town. Next thing we knew we were walking into the most beautifully crimson slot canyon after just a short UTV ride through some fun dirt and sand! The temps dropped and the sun encouraged the colors to dance inside the canyon! To top it off, we were worried because we started the adventure at noon on a hot day, but this gave us a very welcome reprieve from the blazing sun and burning heat! If you are planning a slot canyon tour unsure of timing and which gives the prettiest slot experience, then let me just say, go with East Zion in the middle of the hot day and allow the canyon and McCoy (our guide) to take care of you. A+ day out with friends

Stayed all day on the 21 and over side. Enjoyed sampling the different types and temperatures of pools. Only suggestion I have would be that they have more ways to get out of the sun and more seating outside the pools. They do have gazebos to rent. Overall, had a great time. Wonderful venue to go with friends. I would definitely recommend it and will return when I’m back in the area.
