Great tour! The description accurately reflects the experience, and it’s definitely worth taking as a day trip. I learned a lot while still having time to explore on my own. The wine tasting was enjoyable, although I would have loved a little more time to walk around and explore the area. Our tour guide, “Papa Bear,” was attentive, personable, and welcoming. He made everyone feel seen, comfortable, and included throughout the tour. Overall, a wonderful experience I would recommend!

A great experience

So give yourselves plenty of time to get to the meeting point. Traffic can be very busy and there’s no dilly dallying at the meeting point. The earpiece is a great idea and everyone can hear the guide. Our guide was great. Was pleasant speaking not like some you hear shouting at their group. The tour was very good. The guide answered all the questions. 10/10 from me.

Great tour!

We were given transmitters and earbuds to wear so that we would always be able to hear our tour guide. He always made it very clear where he was so that we would not get lost. He was very informative and we learned a lot from the tour. My only suggestion for him is to make sure he is always speaking clearly into his microphone. When he turned his head away from the microphone it was not so easy to understand him. Other than that it was a very enjoyable tour and we had a great time!

The tour is great. Our tour guide was amazing. You can tell that she has great adoration for Gaudí and his work. Very detailed and gave some of her own feelings which was really great. We are taking a tour today to at Sagrada Família and wish she was our tour guide. She’s amazing!!

Our guide was Yolanda, who was equally charming and informative; she did an excellent job of corralling the group while providing information, keeping us on track, having fun and showcasing the Literary Quarter and its history. It was also a great thing to do as a solo traveler as I met some fun and interesting people and had a really fun and delicious evening. Would strongly recommend!!! Ask for Yolanda to be your guide!

Revealing Beauty and Genius

Sagrada Família is Gaudi’s unfinished masterpiece , a single project over a century and a half in construction. The Basilica is massive yet seemingly as fragile as lace. Alex guided us through Barcelona’s gift to the world, revealing the genius of its construction, the meaning of the sculptural tableaus, and the interplay of light and stone. The tour was educational and exceedingly well presented. It was inclusive and by using microphones and ear pieces the audio was clear and understandable. A visit to Sagrada Família is an exquisitely beautiful bucket list visit that should not be missed. Viator’s tour is highly recommended.
