What are people saying about Portland

Combined Food and Local History
Our tour guide, David showed us the diverse character of the Portland food scene. He was a wealth of knowledge about the city in general and how so many of the original food offerings came to be in specific. David had a great sense of humor and he continually made sure everyone was involved and happy with their selections. Two street food carts, a chocolste shop, a Thai restaurant, and Hawaiian shaved ice were among the places we visited and enjoyed.

Great Way to Enjoy the Columbia River Gorge
This tour is an excellent way to see the waterfalls. Ride in a comfortable van with an experienced guide and skip the hassle of driving. Peter was very personable and knowledgeable. We not only learned about the falls, but also about the plants and history of the region. I highly recommend this tour.

Layers of Flavors & Textures
The food was really fabulous. Rich in flavor and various layers such as delicious textures, savory dishes, savory/sweet cheeses, and a sweet stop at the end. Every stop was a different type of food. Fun and tasteful! We loved Ken, our warm and welcoming host. He is passionate about all that Portland has to offer, he is great with conversation, and helpful with sightseeing suggestions. We enjoyed having Ken as our tour guide!

Waterfalls AND Wine? Yes Please!
I’m so glad we took this half-day tour with Luke from Evergreen Escapes. He went out of his way to make it special and we were blown away by all the thoughtful touches, such as a delicious charcuterie tray of local snacks to have with our wine tasting. Luke also led us on a short hike to Latourell Falls while pointing out interesting facts about the trees and plants. Multnomah Falls was magnificent and we had enough time to see the falls and the lodge. We felt like family on this tour! Highly recommended!

Special treat
Kelly, our guide, is an enthusiastic booster of Portland life, sights, community and beauty; her itinerary featured unique corners of the city that spark one's curiosity and appreciation for all it has to offer. Most of the time, we rode on the flat, cruising through rose gardens, river paths and street art galleries. Highly enjoyable and recommended for those who'd like a glimpse of something special.

Jim was the best!!
We actually just wanted to book a tour to see Multnomah because we heard parking was difficult. This tour ended up being FABULOUS. Not only were the views and falls beautiful, Jim was absolutely the best guide ever. He gave history not only about the falls but for all things Oregon! We had a great time and would 100% recommend this tour, appropriate for all. Note, Jim never made any of us feel rushed and he was sure to let every person go at their own speed to get the full experience of the falls and their beauty. Absolutely fabulous!

Really awesome tour. All...
Really awesome tour. All of the waterfalls were gorgeous. Tour guide Jeffree was super knowledgeable and friendly.
Only complaint is that by booking through Viator we weren't offered hotel pickup and didnt know that was an option. We spent $30 ubering to Migration Brewing for the pickup only to discover they had picked up other people from our hotel.

Lovely view of Portland
Great tour and guide, love the view from the mansion, the rose garden and the free donut. Weather was good, we lucked out we were the only 2 in the tour. Van was comfortable. Portland the birthplace of the founder of Nike and the writer of The Simpsons.

Highly recommend!
This was a great way to get an intro to what the Columbia River Gorge has to offer. Our only complaint was that we had to leave lol. The biking portions were mostly easy and the hiking was very easy. The waterfalls are beautiful and Angela had so much knowledge and made everything fun! We parked in a paid lot a couple blocks from the shop and it was $15. We definitely want to go back on our own time and hike to the top of some of the larger falls.

We had a great time on our food cart /bike tour! Kellie was knowledgeable, friendly and fun to tour with. We saw lots of art, but best of all we ate some really yummy food! Come hungry!
The bike ride was easy and fun. A few surprises along the way. Highly recommend!

This was such a fun tour!...
This was such a fun tour! We are visiting from out of town and this was such a cool way to learn about the city of Portland-both the weird and the usual. Otneil did an awesome job of answering our questions and made it a great interactive experience. I would definitely recommend this tour!
