What are people saying about Philadelphia

Definitely do this.
This tour was exactly what I hoped for—inspirational stories of women that are difficult to find in the large-scale historical centers. My tour guide, Alice, is a history teacher who made the experience captivating, personal, and safe—like a nice long walk with a good friend. I haven't stopped talking about this experience and I’ll remember it forever.

History is Fun
Wonderful experience. Small tour. Tom was very informative and kept pace with the tour - my husband had a boot on his foot. It was evident Tom was passionate about history and loves his city. His information and stories were great. I would highly recommend this tour.

Highly recommend !
Highly recommend this tour! We had a great time and learned so much. Chef Jacquie is a local celebrity :)- knew all the shop owners, and taught us so much about the history of the Italian Market. We tasted great food along the way and even bought some fun things to take home. This was such a unique and enjoyable experience, you won’t regret booking it!

Philly Food Sampling
Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He informed us of local history as well as foods particular to Philadelphia. The samples along the way left full and satisfied. Some stops had water but not all so be sure to bring your own as it is not provided along the way.

PJ was wonderful!
I took the 90-minute walking tour of old city Philadelphia on my work trip. PJ was an exceptional guide! He is knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the city’s history. PJ has a gift for storytelling and presents historical facts in a way that is both informative and entertaining. The tour was well-paced, insightful, and filled with fascinating details that I would have never discovered on my own. If you’re visiting Philadelphia, I highly recommend this tour, and especially PJ as your guide!! Five stars all around!

Fast-Paced, Fun, and Perfect for Kids & Families — We Loved It!
We did this historic walking tour in Philadelphia with our two boys (ages 9 and 10), and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The tour was about 1.5 hours and covered the history of the American Revolution while walking through the actual streets and historic areas of Philadelphia, which made everything feel much more real and engaging.
Our guide was knowledgeable, entertaining, and did a great job keeping both kids and adults interested the entire time. My kids genuinely loved it and were talking about what they learned afterward, which says a lot. Even as an adult, I learned a ton of new information and gained a deeper appreciation for the history of the city and the founding of America.
If you’re visiting Philadelphia and want something educational, interactive, and enjoyable for the whole family, I highly recommend this tour.

Highly recommend- donuts were delicious!
This was an excellent small group tour! We learned about the history and architecture in Philly along with eating some delicious donuts! Our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly and answered all of our follow-up questions. You can tell he really has a passion for sharing his knowledge of all things Philly as he takes you around Center City.

This ghost tour is the way to go!
I’m now convinced that the way to get a great “historic” tour and keep it entertaining as well is to do a ghost tour. Or maybe it’s just that our guide Nate was so fantastic. We got entertaining stories, learned all sorts of historic facts, heard thoughtful, contemplative spooky tales and got a beautiful night time walk through the streets of Philly in 90 mins. Great deal and good fun.

Delicious tour of the Italian Market
This was a great tour of and around the Italian Market. We got to try food we definitely would have missed had we not done this tour. The guide was very fun and knowledgeable and made each person (of the 12 on it) feel special and more aware of what Philadelphia had to offer!

Really great for a date night or a family excursion. Chuck was detailed and friend he took us to see all of the local art, murals, and shops he was kind enough to lets us take a second to grab a bite to eat and re-join the group it turned out to be an amazing day.

A Great Day Exploring Philadelphia's History
Our tour of Philadelphia was wonderful and gave us a meaningful look at the foundations of American history. We visited Independence Hall, Franklin Court, Benjamin Franklin's grave, the first and second Bank of the United States, the meeting place of the First Continental Congress and the Museum of the American Revolution. Each stop added depth to the story of how the nation began and helped us appreciate the vision and courage of the people who shaped it.
Our guide Tom made the experience even better. He was excellent, very animated and truly knowledgeable about every place we visited. His enthusiasm helped bring each landmark to life and made the tour engaging from start to finish. We walked away with a stronger understanding of the city and a greater appreciation for the history behind it thanks to Tom.

Fun. Engaging and well researched!
My partner and I enjoyed this tour. The tour guide was professional, passionate, and well spoken. The tour was engaging from beginning to the end. We both learned a lot of useful nuggets about African Americans and POC in general that are is wildly known.
