We did not expect the...
We did not expect the level of physical demand. 5 hours of climbing very steep hills and over 25 floors of steps was a surprise. The effort detracted from the impact of the tour. I saw other tour buses stop higher up on the path. The tour guide was not good at detecting the pacing needs of the group and pushed them pretty hard. The castle was worth the effort but we would have liked to have been prepared. The Dante’s inferno garden and cave was spectacular, but we got no history or information on why it was built and funded and who was responsible for the vision.

Wonderful Full Day Tour to Sintra
Full day tour to Sintra and its castles. Guierrmo, our tour guide provided great commentary regarding all the sights we saw, recommendations for shopping and restaurants in town. He was very personable and funny. Be prepared for walking up and down hills and stairs. Great tour, do not miss.

Fantastic tour
We felt very safe with our bus driver Rajshahi. Our guide Rita was amazing! She was personable and knowledgeable. She greeted and spent time with each guest. It was a full day, lots of walking uphill, free time to explore and beautiful sights. We felt this was well worth the time and money!

Fantastic day out
Our tour was led by the marvellous David. David ensured that we were able to see all of the important sights and was so knowledgeable that we finished the day full of interesting details and a real sense of the history. Our communication with David in advance of our tour was excellent and he met all of our requirements. I highly recommend taking this tour. You will thoroughly enjoy it!

Most Lisbon tours introduce you to the city’s eclectic neighborhoods, delicious food, and historical sights like Belém Tower and Pena National Palace. But there’s much more to the Portuguese capital. Join expert guides on full-day excursions to picturesque Sintra and Cascais, whip up classic Portuguese dishes with a local cooking class, or watch the sunset over the Tagus River, white wine in hand.
