I loved the tram ride. It is very relaxing and exilerating at the same time. Although your standing up for the duration of the ride, everyone gets the same viewpoint. The floor rotates during the ride so allow everyone to enjoy the same panoramic views. The price for the tickets are reasonable as it brings money into the city.

This is a must when coming to PAL springs. It was 118 degree when we got on the tram but once we got to the top it was a beautiful 82 degree.
The scenery is magnificent going up and at the top it only got better. I’m scared of heights but I stayed in the middle of the tram which made it easy to tolerate the 8000 altitude.

This place is very very fun. When we went on the tram it was very beautiful and fun and so high. I loved the hiking and if you go far enough or in the night, you could see the wildlife animals. You could also camp there too. There was a cafe, a restaurant, and a gift shop. Very good food. It’s a beautiful sight to see.

Wear good shoes if you’re going to explore.
The restaurant was great and the staff were all friendly.

People are nice! Everything was clean, even the restrooms!!! We enjoyed our food at the restaurant. Wendy was our server! We loved her! Gina came to talk to us and was wonderful too! We will be back! The ride up and down the mountain was smooth!

Easy to avoid having to waiting in the ticket lines and was able to ask if we could get on the next tram up the mountain. They were great!

This is definitely a most on your trip. I had so much fun . There are a few camp sites you can camp at and a few hiking trails you can do. But if you want a bit of nature in your trip away from the city. This is definitely a must.

Everything was smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend this , the temperature difference is about 30+ degrees, but the air is so refreshing and clean up there. We will definitely do this again, but maybe also go on the hike. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing.

It was a lovely experience. The mountain is beautiful and offers a lot. Something I would strongly consider adding to your website about this attraction is that the floor in the tram rotates. I did not know this and both my husband and I felt a bit queasy on the way up.

Excellent views from the mountaintop and about 30° cooler than the bottom of the mountain. Easy trails to enjoy.
Kelly_B, Jul 2026
Not for people who are not in good shape. A lot of standing and stairs. Not for anyone disabled. At all
Helena_C, Jul 2026
Easy parking. Restrooms at the bottom and top of the tramway. Can fit a lot of people into the tram but worth trying to get by the windows. Lovely fresh air at the top and easier walk options signposted from the visitor centre that still get great views and see lots of wildlife. Great to find a gluten and dairy free cookie in the cafeteria.

Very nice experience for a fair price. The views were extraordinary and the cooler temps at the top were very welcome after leaving 110° heat on the valley floor.
The one detraction was the out-of-order elevator at the top which prevented one in our group with mobility challenges from experiencing the top deck views. This information did not appear in the online booking.

The weather was amazing about 78°. Had amazing time with my wife sight seeing and a little hike. This is a place to come over and over.
Gina_A, Jul 2026
The view was amazing and the host was with The Most Fun Music playlist that really made a difference.
Roberta_L, Jul 2026
We researched the area on line before coming. The tram runs every 30 minutes. The top of the mountain has some beautiful picture spots. The trails are beautiful. It is a steep hike down and then up to get to the trails.
Corine_B, Jul 2026
Truly an amazing experience with an a beautiful view! I loved it and will definitely do it again. My partner and I had the best of times.
Lola_L, Jul 2026
It’s a wonderful, naturally beautiful experience. I learned things I never knew about California and its wildlife. Would love to comeback and go camping one day

The total experience of the tram ride, the view from the top, and the day was more than I expected. All the employees were very accommodating and helpful. The restaurant's food was really good, and the service was just what a diner expects.

I had a great time with the whole experience. I just didn’t know initially if I was to park at the city office or if there was going to be parking up the highway. But that was my only moment of confusion.
Tina_E, Jun 2026
It was good. We had good weather and everything went smoothly. I always use Viator for my travels. Keep up the good work.
Diana_E, Jun 2026
Drove 45 minutes to location and paid $15 for parking and we were told the ticket was not good until the next day. It did not give me an option to choose a day so I assumed it was valid for any day. This was very disappointing cause we lost money and time.

A must see experience while visiting Palm Springs area. Incredible views and plenty of activities for all ages and interests.
Jim_G, Jun 2026
Beautiful ride with exceptional views over the Coachella Valley. Make sure you book in advance or lines will be very long.
Geraldine_D, Jun 2026
That they should drop off guests first before the driver finds a parking place. We had difficulty with Senior Citizens walking up hill the heat.
