This was my first balloon ride and the ride itself was amazing! SO cool! It was a bit disorganized as far as meeting place and arrival time. We also waited 35 minutes for people who were late. With this late departure, the sun was up way before they even began inflating balloons. The ride description also said light snacks or breakfast...there were none. We stopped at a gas station for a bathroom stop and I guess you could buy a snack there, but we were never told that
But, the balloon part was fascinating and definitely exceeded my expectations.
So much fun. We met in a parking lot and then went to the launch site. If you don't get to the mass Ascension this is like a mini Ascension because there are several balloons around you that you get to see in the distance. On the day we went the mass Ascension was postponed because of wind conditions which was about 10 or 15 miles away. So we went up and they didn't. Crew was professional and courteous. Jeremy our pilot was awesome and he skipped our basket over the Rio Grande which is a skill not all pilots have. One young lady on the crew was amazing. 28 y.o. and has 25 yrs ballooning experience. Knows everyone and everything. Awesome crew!!
What a awesome ride and a fantastic pilot Jordan was. And what a beautiful morning definitely use this company again.
It was fun, I booked last minute and there was a mix up; however, they were quick to accommodate that and my schedule in ABQ. I would reach out to them via phone to verify their systems actually caught your booking prior to heading out early in the morning. Other than that, it was fantastic and the views were spectacular!
