Good morning at the Acropolis

We had a wonderful experience visiting the Acropolis! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and informative, and I learned so many things about Greek history and mythology that I never knew before. The guide made the history come alive and kept the tour interesting from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Athens. I would describe the tour as moderately strenuous. The climb itself was manageable for me, but there are quite a few stairs, and you do need to be careful walking over the uneven rocks and stone surfaces, which can be slippery in places. Comfortable, supportive shoes are a must! Take your time, watch your footing, and enjoy the incredible views along the way. Reaching the Acropolis and seeing it in person was absolutely worth the climb. A memorable experience and a fantastic way to learn more about ancient Greece!

Perfect way to tour Athens

We had such a wonderful half-day tour of Athens with Sebastian! He was right on time and even suggested that we start a little earlier to avoid the traffic and the heat, which ended up being a great recommendation. We were able to see everything we wanted, including the Changing of the Guard, the Acropolis, and some shopping, and we finished with a delicious lunch featuring traditional Greek dishes. Sebastian was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and full of great suggestions without ever being pushy. He made the entire experience easy, relaxed, and enjoyable. It was the perfect way to experience Athens, especially when you only have a limited amount of time. We would highly recommend this tour and Sebastian as a guide. Fabulous tour! Our tour guide “ Friday” was amazing patient, knowledgeable, funny. Ask for her if you can!!! Wonderful experience!!! I suggest doing both acropolis and acropolis museum tours for sure. Go in the morning gets very hot and busy any other time.

Great tour

This is truly an incredible tour that you have to take if you come to Greece. This particular tour group is very organized and informative. Our travel guide was engaging and funny and knowledgeable. A few things to be aware of is that you have to climb many stairs and if it’s in the summer, it could be quite difficult for some. A couple of other things that you need to know is that they do charge in some places for the toilet. Usually it is one euro. The other thing is that women are not allowed to wear pants, short skirts or shorts or show their shoulders. They do give you a wrap at the entrance in order to cover up if you need that. It is also good to carry some euros as currency because there are times when cash is required or credit card machines did not work. Each of the monasteries require five euros each to enter.

An Excursion to Remember!

Traveling with 8 people is not easy to coordinate excursions and interests. This tour was perfect for us. The itinerary was very inclusive of all attractions and culture that makes Athens unique. Having a delicious authentic Greek lunch was a nice touch too. Our tour guide and driver were very nice, helpful, and professional. They really wanted this to be a special experience for us. It was worth the extra money to have a licensed tour guide. It added so much more education and depth to what we were seeing. When the tour was over, I got so many thank you’s from my family for organizing this. If you don’t have many days in Athens for sight-seeing, this is the tour to take. It was definitely an excursion to remember!

A beautiful way to spend the day!

My husband and I booked the full-day 3-island tour and had a fantastic time aboard the Omega. The crew were fantastic and the boat itself was new and very well appointed, right down to the large, 2-stall restrooms. The lunch blew us away as well! The islands afforded plenty of time for swimming and exploring a bit. We didn’t go ashore on the uninhabited Mori, but rather anchored and jumped off the boat for some fun in the beautiful, crystal-clear water. Highly recommend this tour!

Great experience!

Chose this tour as we didn’t want a full day commitment and it was great. We were picked up about a 5 minute walk from our AirBnB which was very convenient, and we could see the real time location of the bus as we waited. Our guide Iliana was a good storyteller, funny, and knowledgeable. A good mix of stops and sights with just enough time at each location (plenty of time for a swim and ice cream at the beach stop). We took this tour on our last day in Greece and would highly recommend it for a half-day excursion!

Magnificent Acropolis

We really enjoyed our Acropolis tour with John the Archeologist. He is incredibly knowledgeable and has so many fascinating stories to share. With his help, the history we once learned in school suddenly came alive and felt real. A wonderful tour, a great history lesson, and a fantastic guide. We loved it and highly recommend John!
